2024 Tesla Model S: Driving Impressions | Car Conversations

Today we are driving the new Tesla Model S. The Model S is very quick to accelerate even for the base model because it has a dual motor setup making 670 horsepower and 723 pound feet of torque. Wind noise is relatively quiet in the Model S, and ride quality is very good even though this tester has 21” wheels. The Model S is also a great car for family road trips because of the auto pilot and the technology in the car for entertainment. Having the buttons for turn signals and all the controls in the screen will take some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it is great. The Model S is one of the safest cars out there, but if you do get in a crash, you will have video evidence since every Tesla comes standard with Teslacam, which is a built-in dashcam recording all four sides.
