Doesn't seem like you're considering the potential profit from cargo looting. I'm getting an average of 100k - 200k aUEC of "legit cargo' (Quant & Medical supplies) from VHRTs, more from ERTs. With ERTs if you look for eggs and high value drugs, your profits skyrocket from there. Looting isn't possible with the fighters on your list. My S-Tier is the Taurus, plenty of cargo, can handle VHRTs with no issues.
Correct, focus here is pure Bounty Hunting. When playing in a group we sometimes go Multicrew in a Corsair or Constellation and go for the loot. Nice Payout ideed !!
@@dj-firefly3901 Personally I think the ability to loot a small fortune from your targets makes fighters mostly redundant. Which is a shame, because I really want to love them. I wish CIG would nerf the loot and increase the mission payout to redress the balance.
Hello, I recently purchased the Taurus as a Mid-Tier upgrade for cargo hauling. I’m a very new player (30 hours playtime). Is there a recommended loadout for fighting my way up the tiers of difficulty for Bounty Hunting?
@@2007donnie2008Hi and welcome to Star Citizen :) Check out my weapons loadout video. For the first Bounty missions the Galdereen Repeaters are perfect. While learning the basics you may even press G to activate target mode, which makes it easier to shoot smaller targets. When going against bigger targets, you should upgrade your weapons to Laser Cannons (M7A) or Ballistic Cannons (Deadbolt 5). But relax and give yourself time to learn. The Taurus can do many game loops! See you in the verse!
@@2007donnie2008 Can't go wrong with a full loadout of Deadbolt V ballistic cannons, or If you're concerned about running out ammo or just prefer laser, go with M7A laser cannons. Either loadout can handle all the way up to and including ERTs. I should warn you that the lower missions (VLRT, LRT and even some MRT) have smaller, fast moving targets, the connie being less maneuverable might make those missions a little more difficult, but still very do-able
unless you do the fighters purely for fun you are missing out on huge profits from cargo drops of quant/eggs if you fly a ship with less than 20-40scu. For pure fun I like the hornet into MRTs. they give the best mix of medium/light fighters that provide action and are not just bullet sponges that cannot even try to hit you.
Absolutely agree. However all bounties try to shoot me now depending on server performance, the bullet sponges sometimes hit and bite harder than I like them to, lol.
Thank you for awesome video! You said in your previous video that you've used C1 spirit for bounties up to HRTs. Is it still possible to chain HRTs with C1 spirit after 3.23?
Hi chowpal, thanks :) Yes, it is possible, but a bit harder than before. Generally the C1 has the required DPS and durability. However, I find that I get shot a lot more than before. So eventually, damage accumulates on the ship and you need to repair. I still love the C1 and use it often, but lets say, it is a generalist ship, not a bounty specialist. :)
@@dj-firefly3901 Thank you for your reply :D I'm a 3 weeks newbie and gathering aUEC for second ship. I want multi-role ship which I can use for ROC mining and bounty hunting. I made up my mind to go for C1 after watching your previous video. Now confirmed with your answer. thank you again~
hello, one question: I only got a F7C Super Honert MK1 ingame and then i saw that the best Hornet is the F7A MK2 variant...... so i looked around to find where i can get one. But dont know yet. Do you know if i can get it ingame or can i only get it with real money? ps: sehr gute informative videos!
Hi, danke :) The F7A could be bought for a short time, after completing a certain chain of missions / event. Currently it is not available in game or in the pledge store. Many players keep their eyes open for another chance to buy... fingers crossed.
This list will change a lot when the NPC crew/blades go online. The Hercules A2 for example should be one of the best for VHRT's. But I guess it also depends on the player if they like cargo salvaging or not also.
I personally run my Andromeda with 2 size 5 lazer and two size 5 ballistic cannons, At the start of an engagement I designate them to separate firegroups (2 clicks) and then I can neatly remove the shield and nuke the ship once done with that :d
Hi, nice one. If you are successful, just keep it that way. Success proves you right :) However the bountys ship hull reduces physical damage by 50%. Shield further reduces 0-30% so on average 15%. Effect is, that your ballistics will only increase by 15% (on average) once the shields are gone, because the hull reduction stays the same. Laser weapons on the other hand will have zero DPS loss, once shields are down. So I prefer all lasers, when hunting ships with not more than 1 Size 3 shield or full ballistics when going against ERTs. In any case, Good hunting!!
Re-tested the eclipse over the weekend and - good news - it seems to be fixed :) I was able to do multiple ERT missions in a row with no problems at all. Eclipse video is coming soon :)
Hi, you mean, why I always hit the back section of the shield? I approach the bounty and start circling it always in the same direction, so not flying forward or backwards most of the time, but only sideways. I only use forward/backward to close the distance or evade, should I get hit too much. Good hunting!!
🤦♂️ comments like these make me wish parents would take their phones away from their children. He CLEARLY was completing the bounty’s. Him not fussing with the power triangle demonstrated more than if he had full power to weapons!!

vanguard (warden) is still my favorite , it can fit 10 SCU's if you're patient, it can do VLRTs all the way to ERTs and it has a bed

Yess! Absolutely! NPC crews will be game changers. Man turrets, load cargo... if they really implement this in the future.
So 8 years from now.
Retailiator w/ it's 5 manned turrets would hugely benefit from this.

Do you also have to form new groups to operate after switching the flight/combat mode of the ship? I mean groups 0 and 1
Yes, this is setting back to default constantly :(

Does the eclipse soft kill enemy ships ?
Best ship by far at moment if you're not wanting to loot cargo is the Eclipse.
Hornet and Inferno have a huuuuge disadvantage. You cannot loot the ships after the kill ... :D
Not using the power triangle correctly (or not using it at all) makes all your arguments invalid.
Considering you just watched him do the bounties in the ships he likes makes you argument redundant lol

HOW are you flying the F7A Hornet MKII ?? You cannot buy it or pledge it? Or am I missing something?
You had to own the mkII c then do a special event. It lasted like 2 months, it ended a month ago
Exactly what CopperRaven said. F7A is fantastic. But the F7C Hornet Mk2 or other medium fighters can do similar things.
