man i can take out an 890 with my cutty and ndbs just sit and target one thruster and ctrl+Siht to follow the 890s path and A & D when youre fetting shot from behind. also razzel dazzel it up every so often so you dont get rammed

My torps missed every single time, so i stopped playing with the eclipse It got so frustrating

For the scatter gun setup with a f7a, you shouldnt strafe so much, its yaw its MUCH faster, so pulling the nose up is the most agile, just use your boost to get behind the target, increase your front shields by one level if you have a bigger ship / shields where its possible, and you will need no further boost from then because staying behind is very easy. And you can land 90% of the scatter shots = much faster ttk

i have been rocking the corsair with 4 deadbolt V and 2 deadbolt 2 and stock rockets. it works great. but the ship doesnt have the health if the situation gets a bit sticky. im doing this on VHRT. im not on ERT yet but i have done a few of them with my org and i stilled used the corsair and its no problem. i do want to try the warden

I've basically stopped trying to salvage anywhere other than Arccorp... due to getting "Cannot Sell" or "No Demand" basically EVERYWHERE else. Frustrating.

I really love this ship. I had to learn not to use it like a fighter and plan my fights. But after that, I started doing very well on my Bounties (as long as the server isn't bitching)

Best ship by far at moment if you're not wanting to loot cargo is the Eclipse.

Does the eclipse soft kill enemy ships ?

Hornet and Inferno have a huuuuge disadvantage. You cannot loot the ships after the kill ... :D

Hmm I used the seekers and 1out of 3 hit. I guess I’m going to try the typhoons lol No idea 🤷‍♂️ y they don’t hit . Hopefully someone else will in the comments. I don’t think this ship is good against light fighters because it can’t turn very well.

I'm really struggling with MRTs in my cutlass. I just get swarmed and under constant, unavoiable fire. Dead with in seconds. Could you share some tactics?

Caught between easy kills like that and those poor potential eggs, man. Popped an 890j a couple hours ago and got 18 scu of eggs in it. It looks like the torps fully destroy the ship. It looks fun for a few missions, but it seems like it would take longer to get credits

Does it put ships into soft death? Or just straight up destroy them

Last time I used it: 3 shots - 3 torpedos destroyed by enemy fire before hitting the target. And the target were only two Starfarer.

The best ship for grinding BH rep by far. I did the whole VHRT level to ERT in one day completing 50 missions. Buy Typhoon torpedos, wait for missile lock and stay within ~10k. BOOM! mission completed in no time. Now I reap the harvest in ERTs.

Great ship, but way too expensive for only three torpedoes. For around the same money (in the pledge) I get the Retaliator with 6 torpedoes, 5 turrets with size 3 weapons and bed, toilet, kitchen, etc. For 200€ it would be just ok, or she would have to have at least 5 Tropedoes and 4 size 3 weapons.

ive been trying the eclipse... absolut shit. i shot more than 30 torps to VHRT and none of them hitted the target. always destroyed. worst 9M ever

So if those Torps work for the eclipse they should work for the Retaliator?

for the torpedo that missed its target, maybe you should also wait for the cursor to lock in red before firing (in addition to waiting for your ship to say missile lock) ? i learn to slow down a bit to not stress to much this bugy game :D

damn they didnt even try to shoot your torpedo !??? last time i tryed (maybe a week ago?) they open fire on torpedo and only a few time they manage to hit.

so infrared torpedo is better ? however I had read that electromagnetics (seeker IX) was the way to go ?

I like the satisfaction of killing ships with torps, but feels like a waste with an eclipse in erts where you are leaving so much potential auec from cargo on the table

It's great but gets repetitive fast since the only challenge is the hideous HUD icons and bugged "lock".

So to get started in hauling you do not get contracts you have to go to these "locations or terminals" and buy the cargo and then move it to another location and hopefully it sells?
