Found the channel today through Reddit. Admirable to see people who do full time work and find discipline and will to work on something else like a game on the side. Also: "How can I horizontally center a div" is a classic, haha.

This was super refreshing to watch, thanks for this. I work in retail and I’m currently working on a fighter and I recently got all 6 of my characters working! I’m glad game dev is just fun for you! Cheers!

heyo! fellow game developer here. this is almost exactly what i do on a day to day aswell. except i end my workday cursing technology and vowing to quit to go live in a forest... and then i just play games all night. i try gym, take walks and read often to b "hEaLtHy" here and there but most days ...make games, play games lol
This only shows you staring at a screen 30sec, then tons of material where and what you eat :/ would have been nice if you explained what you are actually doing and working on
I never comment on videos. However, this video is AMAZING. Great music! I'm a fresh out of college Computer Engineer. I also train Jiu Jitsu and Avatar is amazing!
can you make a really violent video game? those are fun. i think video game developers are amazing. you guys bring so much fun and enjoyment to people. thank you
So what happened to the game, was it ever published? It says on steam "Coming out soon" and "Note: Armies Of Ganivar is no longer available in the Steam Store." which are contradictory
Don’t you need to make a lot of notes? Post-it, sketches, brainstorming... I guess maybe not everyday (?). But when you need, what’s your favorite tool/app for that?
I'm actually SUPER old fashion. I have a small notebook that can easily fit in the front pocket of a backpack if needed. I'll usually mark pages that I list as "big things i need to do" and then have several following pages for scratch work, brainstorming, algorithms etc. I've tried apps but I never follow through with them, a nice notebook is always there hard to avoid! :)
Your music choice is very good. Usually music is entirely terrible, or only one track is good, the rest are terrible. All the tracks in this video is good, which is very exceptional.
Do you mind giving us a pipeline process video. When starting a new game, what comes first 1, 2, 3... the ABCs. Even if it's a powerpoint presentation?
Holy crap! Do you really turn off the PSU switch on top of just shutting down? If so, I'm impressed. I can't be bothered to do anything beyond put my system to sleep lol.
I actually do hahah, my friend who builds these computers said it would help it last longer so I just made it a habit. Haven't really looked into if its true though 😅
Cool video. It‘s great to see a realistic day in the life. ☺️ and is it just me, but somehow you remind me of Joey from friends? 😄 Maybe I should just stop binge watching the series... 😅
@@Nick-Makes-Games Awesome news! :) And yeah, it is meant as a compliment. Perhaps I should have said that your looks remind me of him and not his character :D
Great video, but just a little suggestion: Sometimes it is hard to hear you speak over the music, so maybe for your future videos you could adjust the audio levels :)
Might I strongly suggest you get a TV tray since you insist on eating at your desk? That way, you don't have to eat on your desk and risk spillage on your beautiful equipment.
Use the hibernate function and connect all the monitors to a single intellegent power outlet. making you able to say, ok google, turn off pc or something and it put the pc to hibernate and disables that power outlet.
