Been on Slap Battles since early 2021 when my friend invited me to hop on call to play a game with some of the early staff members of the game because he knew most of them really well, 3 years later I'm happy that I'm still in the community and also happy that the community itself is still thriving til this day. Thank you Tencell for releasing an actual great game.

So to be a billionaire in roblox there's 3 simple ways :
1. Buy a lot of robux (will cost you roughly about 9-10 million dollars to get 1 billion robux)
2. Learn coding make a good game and get lucky (75% Hardwork 800% luck)

As a person that plays and makes games on roblox...
I do none of these.
Just kidding. I don't care about success or whatnot. I make games whenever I feel like it which is usually whenever I get bored of playing other Roblox games. It's simple, really. If you don't find Roblox enjoyable, just make it enjoyable. Sure, I'm not technically "successful", but that doesn't matter to me so long as I'm having fun.
In my eyes, games are meant to be fun, to play, and to make. If I lose passion for a game I've made, I'll simply drop it, but I won't drop it immediately. I'll do everything in my power to try and rekindle that passion, only letting go once I know for sure that I won't enjoy working on it anymore.
That's how all my games work.
They aren't necessarily in-depth, complicated, or intensive in any way, shape, or form. It's just me, doing whatever I want, usually with a set theme.
I'm especially fond of fighting games, which is why I've made a handful of them myself, some admittedly bad, and some decent. Sure, some things are seriously unbalanced and you could say all of them are jank in some way, but my original intention was never to make a game that appealed to players. These games were made solely for me and me alone. Sure, the game is more enjoyable with others, but my original intention was to make a game that I find fun and enjoyable. It was never to cater to others.
Due to this, you could say that was the reason why I've never taken off or became "successful", but for me, it's not about being successful, it's about making something I enjoy, and I'll be honest, I've made many amazing friends from my weird, goofy, and honestly horrible projects.
I keep myself in a place where my passion is always at an all-time high because I simply don't worry about anything else. This may be seen as a bad thing and in most cases, it is. For example, what if someone gets seriously invested in one of my works, but I've already lost passion for it? Well, I'd be hurting their feelings if I just dropped it immediately, and this is where I start sounding heartless.
I simply don't care. For some reason, I've always been the type to care very little about things I don't find interesting, making me one of, if not the most apathetic person I know.
I don't have a grand goal. I don't have a dream I strive for. I am a simple person by nature and I'm glad to admit that.
If you were to ask me where I'd put myself on the spectrum of players and developers, I'd say I'd sit closer to the players.
Everyone's tastes are different, even if by a bit. I don't care if my game doesn't appeal to anyone because it appeals to me. I have fun making it. I have fun playing it. That's all that matters to me and that's most likely all that I'll ever care about.
Some would say that it makes me very unapproachable as a dev and to be blunt, that is true in a sense. After all, I have all the power in the world to make something truly impactful, but I don't. Am I wasting my potential? Simply put, yes; I am.
I'm a lot easier to understand than people might think.
If I want to do something, I'll do it. If I don't want to do something, I won't. If I care, I'll take action. If I don't, I won't.
In all, I'd say that I'm the type that only cares about my enjoyment on the platform, and since developing games is part of it, I just so happen to be a game dev, despite being a player at heart. Having fun playing a game is the best feeling ever. Having fun making and then having fun playing said game is even better.
I know I've been rambling for a while now, but I just want people to listen to my point of view as well, despite being as insignificant as any other person along any other street.
The feeling of developing a game is rewarding. Sure, you'll have your ups and downs, but the feeling you get from creating something you're proud of and enjoy is probably one of, if not the greatest feeling in the world, but... What if you could reap even more of said reward?
There's many ways a work of art can be appreciated. It doesn't matter how "bad" it is. So long as it has a sense of meaning to you. So long as it means something to you, even if it was in the past. So long as you felt any semblance of pride or enjoyment during the process. That's really all that matters...
... at least to me.
Now, I'm not saying that you should take my views in whole-heartedly. You can have your own goals and aspirations. Make what you want to make. Do what you want to do. I just want you to know that maybe, just maybe, you should put more value into yourself. Look at yourself from time to time. Ask yourself, "Is this really what I want to do?"
Being pessimistic isn't an inherently a bad thing. It's just that you need to know how and when to be pessimistic.
It takes a lot of time, effort, commitment, and willpower to achieve a grand ambition, so listen to me here.
This applies to anything in life so remember this:
It takes *you.* All of *you.* You tread a long path, yes, *you.* You'll crawl; You'll walk; and you'll run. But through it all, *you* decide when your journey starts, stops, and ends. Whether you end it early or late doesn't matter. Just know that in the end, *you* are who you choose to be, what you invest into. Others may not be on your road, and maybe some will leave, but through thick and thin, through good and bad, this road is yours. You may meet some, you may lose some, but with your judgement, whether it be a pebble, or a boulder blocking your path, you'll find a way. Even if you can't reach it. There's always another path for you. You've got time... Hey. Don't start getting all emotional now. Even if you never reach any of your goals... Look back. Take one glance back at what one hell of a path you've paved for yourself. It may be one of many in the sea of others, but it's *yours.* All stories will come to an end. There will be ups and there will be downs, but even once you can't continue. All it takes is a short glance. A small look back. You may hate it; you may love it, but hey, it's *you.*

Anyways, I most likely won't be with you through anything, but I'd say that if you have a large ambition or a bright passion to pursue, you could probably, though you don't need to, use that as motivation.
To be perfectly honest, I wrote that entirely on a whim and I still haven't reached my thirties yet, so I probably don't have enough life experience to give any proper advice, but hey! If it works, it works, amiright?
