Great review. I love the use of white paper behind the whisky so we can properly see the colour. I'll have to start doing that in my videos (which probably won't include anything as special as two 25 year old drams anytime soon).

That was a very interesting comparison Gav and reaffirms that colour isn’t a particularly good predictor of flavour. They both sound like great drams, hope you enjoy your new SB 25 over the next couple of years.
