Thanks, the paintings are my wife’s work. She is currently doing an exhibition in Brussels. So I get to use some to make things a bit prettier. Thanks for watching
Dear Gert, Springbank 10 at 69 euros 💶 is a fair price as here in Italy 🇮🇹 the 10 is at least 75-85 euros. I did recently walk into a luxury wine shop in Milano and I found a Springbank 12 CS for a very fair 115 euros. Hopefully prices will at least stop rising if not decrease. Fingers crossed 🤞 Thanks for this luxurious review. Kind regards, S.
There comes a point where value vs. many things that Springbank has been made belief to be needs a closer examination at each individual level. There are many people with many reasons who may pay almost any price "just to have the product". What SB needs to do is start producing more and products that are available and competitive in price. At the moment it seems they are somewhat content with letting market dictate where their product goes and and how much it sells for. Now the good news is there are many alternatives including new distilleries not just in Scotland but aboard. Hopefully some of the current dynamics will change for the better in the future.
Indeed good news, but from my conversation yesterday with some of the owners,it seems that more distilleries are pushing their prices up. I am working on an Irish whisky video now. 22 years for €168.
@@WhiskyLoversSociety Amen gents! When they want you to spend hundreds or even thousands on a bottle it better be as well presented as possible to keep those flavours intact.
@@WhiskyLock indeed mate. Just finished recording an 22 year old Peated Irish whisky at 54.4% abv for 168€. So much more flavour than the Springbank 21
Imo any SB is overpriced and hyped for nothing. The 10 and 10cs I've tasted were huge disappointing moments for me. Not worth of hunting and money...world is full of great whiskies which you can find and actually puchase to enjoy it in comfortable price without any fuss...if you wanna impress someone or enjoy the money, go for it...

Indeed a ok price. According to one of the shops they say it’s going to keep going up. Especially Springbank
Samples are fine and all but I always want more of the good stuff 😄but still, cheaper than going to a Bar to sample.
I like to try before I commit. I have wasted too much time much money on stinkers. Cheers.

I felt the same way about the SB21(2019) 46% is too low abv for these. They need to be at least 50%abv. Too light and watery.
Cheers 🥃
Glad to see that I am not the only one. Even 48 would make a difference. Cheers

Agree with you. But it seems the hype is real and people are standing in line to buy more.
