    List the brand of the acrylic gloss enamel? Also the due drops. It would be helpful if you also list a link of where we can but them example Amazon, home depot ect

    I thought the unedited opening was very dramatic. Made me want more. Food color works ok in clear elmers glue. Looks great. Need an air brush.

      I used a high volume low pressure spray gun but I guess any type would work

    Is there a kind of paint you would recommend to make this heat-safe? I'm looking to stain glass candle jars both inside and out.

      You'd have to check the heat rating of the paint you're using to be sure it would hold up. I'm pretty sure enamel has a higher heat rating than a latex paint though.

      @@dhellard214 I will give that a shot. Thank you! I tried using the Pebeo Vitrea glass paints and it was a disaster. Granted, I was using a $10 airbrush from Harbor Freight with a can of air (I don't have a compressor)...

    How would you assume this would turn out if you brush it on or dip the glass in the liquid instead of spraying it on? I don’t have a sprayer. I would just try it and see, but I don’t have any of the materials yet except for a ton of glass that needs staining.

      I would think it would turn out fine as long as the layer is thin and even enough to see through.

      Honestly, if you brushed it on and left the brush strokes in it, it might be cool too and would give it some texture.

    Any suggestions on how to create little bubbles in the stain to simulate the ombre recycled mexican blown glass? Maybe a light splatter of water before air brushing with the resin/clearcoat mixture? PS your video was awesome!

    Can you do this on the inside of bottle for an outdoor bottle wall ?

      I would think so. Just pour it in the jar or bottle and roll the liquid around to coat everything evenly and drain the excess and let dry

      Completely smooth finish. Not sticky at all

      I wouldn't think so but I can't guarantee it.

    What type of sprayer did you use and where can I get one as well as the rest of the items you used to create the color

      The spray gun is a HVLP gun (high volume low pressure) and the clear coat is from a spray can of clear coat. I just held the can upside-down and sprayed until all the pressure and propellant was gone and then punched a hole in the can and poured the contents into a jar. The dye comes from alumilite.com. Hope that helps.

    Are you sure that color will stay? What if it fades when you wash it?

      They're made more for decoration than extensive use and washing. But if they fade or anything, they can be cleaned up easily with acetone and redone.

      Should be fairly durable as long as it's cleaned carefully. I wouldn't put it in a dishwasher or anything

    Went to a store and asked for exactly what you said: "enamel enamel clear coat", "gloss regular enamel gloss acrylic enamel gloss clear coat" (and from your posted comments) "basic semi gloss lacquer" and the salesperson couldn't believe their ears! They asked, "That was from a 'How To' video that EXPLAINS what to use?!" Lol

    So did anyone ever figure out what kind of clear coat he is using? there are plenty of things that come in spray cans but harder to find something that comes in normal liquid form.

      Spray can of enamel clear coat. Turn upside down and empty the aerosol. Puncture can and empty contents into container. Mix color in and spray.

    Is enamel clear coat flexible? I want to try this on flexible plastic film that is typically used for packaging so its very flexible. I cant use it if it dries hard qnd cracks or flakes off

      It would crack and flake off for sure. It dries very hard.
