I see you didn't actually take the strap on the front off all the way that's the part that's giving me issues getting it on.

I just devised a simple hack on the spot while watching this video which seems to make inserting the top strap a lot easier. I've just replaced my stock strap using this method. Take a paperclip, bend 2 of the ends out at right angles so you end up with a rough U shape but with more square edges rather than curved. One end of the paperclip will still have a hook but I just gripped this hook with my thumb and index finger rather than trying to grip the other end which would be much more tricky. Take your new strap end and curl it a little bit upwards if you can to make the next stage a little easier. Now insert the flat bottom edge of the U shape into the thin groove between the bar and white plastic front. Just make sure it's a few mm below the bar, then insert the end of the strap. Once you're confident that enough of the end of the strap is resting on top of the paperclip, gently pull it out so the strap is now pointing upwards between the groove. You should now be able to grip the end of the strap and pull the rest through.
You may have to adjust the width of the end of the paperclip depending on it's size and the type of your new strap. You probably have your new strap replaced already but this may make your life easier in future should you need to remove it or replace it again.

Literally did not sure how to take the head strap on and off the one piece that’s difficult the strap that you did not take off

Btw there are much better headbands out there than the totally overpriced "Elite" band (which should have been the default to begin with; the cheap velcro band is an ergonomic disaster as it does nothing to prevent painful pressure on face and all over the head)

This is what I was looking for. Other vids I've watched showed how to put a different strap on. But not how to take off the default strap.
Also you should hold the side while unclipping. The way you showed here you risk breaking it.

Cheers worked a treat only needed to watch a minute of your video to get it. Changed the strap to a new super comfy third party one. Not sure what the rest of these clowns are whining about 🤡🤣

NOPE, Velcro part of strap will not go through without removing facial interface first. My facial interface was extremely stiff thought I was going to break it. After removing this the velcro portion would thread through. Without doing this 100% would have broken that thin plastic rod that it was wrapped around.

Wish I saw this before jamming a screw driver into the little black tab that is obviously designed for removing the strap. Meta will eat that cost for shtty industrial design.
