      @@Medreg1983 The point is, he hit 585 at age 20 while he was much smaller, probably on less gear, and barely had any years of training under his belt. In the six years since then he now looks like a professional bodybuilder, trains for a living, and barely added 5% to his bench. If you are not elites soon after you begin training you will never be elite.

    As a teenager, if there was a Bench for reps World Championships, Huge event. And there was 4 categories. 225lb for reps. 315 for reps. 405 for reps and 500 for reps. I believe you would hold the raw world record in each category as a teen and even today. Props and respect to you Larry. Best bench repper for sure.

    It awesome to see this video. When I started learning how to lift. Larry was one of the first people I ever spotted for squats. Dude asked me to be his spot and he was squatting like 6 plates on each side. Haha I was a beginner at that time and was so afraid and I wasn’t even the one lifting the weights!!     I don't get into following people on here to much but Larry your story is one of such humble beginnings and that of triumph over adversity so I do follow you. You were given some gifts, genetics, and worked hard and made the best of those gifts to get out of difficulties.       Jeez. When I started the gym at almost 140 pounds, I was FUCKING WEAK. Dude, I would barely be able to bench 60 something pounds. Obviously dedication and a year, although genetically, I feel weak since my bench was 160 as my max and my deadlift which is 270, at least I feel good although tbf, I wasn't too strict on myself at the gym, but Larry was whole another level. He's a genetic freak and literally made to lift weights.

    The thing is we saw him at 18 years of age but we don't know what he has lifted when he has started . He has had right dedication , equipment etc and each and everyone of us would have done the same if we trained like him . Everyone stay positive coz if one can do it we can all do it 😉

      He said he benched 60 kg for reps at the age of 15 when he started bench press. At the age of 16 his max bench press was 160 kg !!!! And all that before he took roids ! This is insane.
