Official gov statistics in the US declare domestic violence at about 50/50 split so you can't say stupid shit like ''no reason for a guy to hit a woman''. That's just sexist bullshit and no amount of flexing is gonna make that acceptable. If she attacked him first then he's got a right to defend herself...and to add to this you were upstair asleep at age 6 you didn;t have a fucking clue what te dynamic of that situation was. This just makes you look like a sexist dude. So much for your character. As always there's so shitty stuff in every youtube celebrity's past. This time is sexism towards men. What fucking ever dude.

Well damn man! We have the same story! My mom married an alcoholic when I was 10. He used to come home drunk and beat her up in front of me. I was too young and too small to do anything about it. She used to enable him too though. I called 911 once when he was beating her and I got in trouble for it because “Mike is a great guy. It’s the alcohol that is bad, not Mike”. That was the night she told me she wished I had never been born.
I’ll never forget the night when he was beating her up in the hallway and had kicked several holes in the wall and pulled the phone cord out of the wall so we couldn’t call 911. I told him to stop and he paused and looked me in the eyes and said “what are you going to do about it?” I was never the same after that. I wanted to protect her but I knew I couldn’t. I used to sit in my closet with a knife praying that I would have the courage to plunge it into his chest if he came in my room. I felt powerless.
I’ve always hated bullies. I started lifting weights in junior high so I could defend myself. I tried steroids for the first time in college. It was like they had been waiting for me. Getting big was an obsession. It took me years, an arrest for possession of steroids, and lots of counseling to realize why. In my mind, I had to settle the score with every “Mike” that ever crossed my path.
Thanks for the story and for the honesty. I hope you confront and conquer your “Mike” before too much damage is done.

Yeah for real, could've maybe left out the childhood stuff and talked more about the actual experience of the substance but I get why he put it in there to show where he was in his life when trying. Personally, my belief is steroids is only something men in their 40's should take for rejuvenating purposes. Most action movie stars do it. Many doctors recommend it regardless of the patients test results. "Not saying doctors aren't for profit lol" There's no shame in taking steroids, just need to have the right reasons, and education on something that's going to alter your body. It's the same with HGH. Also, have the money and regimen, cause as any who understands the substance knows it isn't cheap and doesn't just make you big, YOU make you big, it just helps you to do that with recovery and overall body's desire to grow.

I just stopped steroids after being on them for a year 1/2 and watching this video helped me a lot. Ive decided to go the prescription route after I get my levels back to normal. Yes I did get to the size and weight that I desired to do but at that time I was only thinking about myself and wasn’t thinking about my daughter and how she would feel if something happened to me because I was taking steroids. I feel so much better now that I’m off of them, no more anger, no more 7 days a week 2 hrs in the gym, 3 days with and hr 1/2. Thank you Larry for this video

No man wants to see his "Moma" get hurt by a man, not even his own Dad. I felt so helpless and scared in that moment, which is one of the reasons I started lifting some years later. Now that I'm big and strong, I understand that guys, especially like us, should NOT use this strength to hurt anyone, but to help them when ever possible. You are the strongest man on my list by far, physically and emotionally. REAL men protect their families and friends, and share their hearts so that others may be blessed and encouraged. This man hit 365 on bench, 450 on Squat and 500 on deadlift at 16 before steroids. Idc if steroids played a part on how strong he is today but in reality Larry is genetically gifted...like fr how many powerlifters or strongman you know that can say they were benching almost 400, squatting almost 500 or deadlifting 500 at 16 without steroids? Larry is the closest thing to superhuman that we have ever seen

That's respect lost for me, like someone hiding their meth addiction and coming out clean, but still using it makes no difference. Steroids aren't cool and doesn't prove anything of your natural strength. This guy is basically addicted to being the strongest, and in turn(to drugs) he made up a story to somehow make it seem acceptable that he uses steroids(and will continue doing so) because his dad left him when he was 1 years old. I give props to natural strength, this guy is far from it.

Larry's numbers at 16 before steroids and weighing 185:
    Squat: 450
    Bench: 365
    Deadlift: 500
So yes he is very talented and works hard, if you don't have that, steroids won't give it to you.

Idk if the trajectory still goes this way. I've been natural my whole life. When I first did powerlifting meets at 17/18yo and 181-185lbs
I had a Squat of 575, Bench 355 and Deadlift 505. Since then I haven't really added much I just kind of hit my peak physically in my natural form. My Best Squat since has been 675, Bench 425 and Deadlift 650. I've just had more important things going on in my life. Like he said... you have to dedicate your life to it .

Don’t look at what a man’s achieved rather look what he’s overcome. I speak from personal experience, if you have no father you can grow up without the feeling of safety and security. This is critical for healthy psychological development. I believe having a screwed up mother is even worse. The relationship between mother and child is our first intimate relationship as a mother holds her baby to her breast. A messed up childhood presents challenges well into your adulthood that manifests as relationship challenges, commitment issues, addictive behaviour, low self esteem and even self loathing. Glad you overcame Larry what’s killed so many others so I hope you keep helping other and you will keep helping yourself.

Yeah..from the sounds of it, Larry had a very, very tough childhood. Poor guy. But he definitely turned out alright and matured fast. You can tell that he is a very bright guy, but very under educated. But he definitely made the best out of a bad situation and matured into a very bright, positive and successful man. Most people from his situation end up as a statistic in the prison system or living the life of a petty criminal. He proves that by having a level head and having some motivation, people can rise from tough upbringings and be bright and positive adults.
