In the '70 The Cure were mindblowing! I was a super-addict! In this video I only see old men with some smear on their faces, simply copying a song of themselves from the old days. Pfff...
For an artist, it's important playing at the stage not only pronouncing a new album. Their music was so innovated and progressed ahead of ages, and also over the ages, in my opinion. I can't believe that this song had made birth in 1979. They has upgraded it beutifully, greatly here. Their music still fresh, beautiful, and contemporary at the aspects of structures of song, chords or harmoney, rhythm, texture of sounds, even word are not old. And I has not found others. Let me know other newal artists?
I've never been into the cure except this song, but im really not getting some of the negative comments. boris isnt jason, they look run down, etc. I dont have much to compare it to but they don't sound run down! I'd take this any day over just about anything from any era
i dont see any problems with any of the drummers. like each decade the cure go in a new direction thats wats good about them. And i think each drummer can compensate with that.... thats my thoughts on this arguments :)
@amigajenni He may not be the best drummer in the world but he's ok stop crying because cure are always changing and it's not my fault you don't like change. Don't even bother posting a reply 'cause I'm done talking to you go away and shut up.
sadly he is not Boris. Boris is waaaaaayyyyyy better than Jason. Better sound, best personality, better presence, better style, more creativity, etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc.,etc., etc.,etc.,etc.,
Sad to see no one is excited not like the people in the past they would sing along
it is an old song, so i guess if the crowd isnt generally familiar with older songs, they wouldnt sing along :/
Una versión madura y de una performance de primera de éste clásico de The CURE .
Dwell within The Cure....you know it makes sense!!!
One of the best early ones
vedere i cure cantare fire in cairo nel 2009 !!! è una gioia infinita. Le loro canzoni sono infinite
I would love to go to a concert just to hear the first 3 albums ❤️❤️💗💗
They did a tour in 2011 where they did just that with a line-up of Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Lol Tolhurst, Roger O’Donnell and Jason Cooper
EF, AY, AR, EE, AY, EN, SEE, EY, AY, AR, OH!!!!
@7evengirl they know
Love the sound
How I love this song!!! it's just a master piece =)
One of the best songs of the first album..
I discovered the album in the mid 90s,
I'm very proud to own the original cover album..

Robert Smith is GOD
el guitarrista calvo, se parece al tío lucas de los locos adams buena canción y buena banda the cure
I only wished it was a little rawer...It would've been sooo great in that way!

@arrisfilms if he/she hates jason, is an intelligent Cure fan ;)
@amigajenni I have disintegration allready I like all the cure albums
VENGAN A PERU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you hate jason then you're not really a cure fan
@arrisfilms i don't hate him. I just think he sucks.
jason cooper is the worst drummer ever in The Cure! the great responsible of the debacle!
Bring BORIS WILLIAMS back!

i prefer Lol Tolhurst
That rushed feeling slightly ahead beat of Lol was the best.
sadly he is not Boris. Boris is waaaaaayyyyyy better than Jason.

they look so run-down, its sad. maybe they should stop. one of the greatest songs ever written though, from one of the best albums, too.
the best drummer was boris williams
