i have just learnt to make it at home my ingredients i used under spring onions, shredded cabbage, panko breadcrumbs, 4 beaten eggs, egg noodles, soy sauce for topping okonomiyaki source, mayonnaise, spring onions
This okonomiyaki batter looks as if this restaurant altered it to puff up like those pancake soufflés. Looks a lot more fluffier and denser then regular okonomiyaki. Yum 👌🏻
It can also have to do with whether you add things like a mountain yam or corn flower to the batter. Plus he doesn't pat it down, he fluffs it up then puts a lid on it so that the inside steams better.

yeh, looks like he added mountain yam that's why it doesn't look like a typical okonomiyaki. You can tell this guy really cares about making it look pretty, like when he takes that little tail off the fried egg :)
Having a cooking desk this large is like using a ultra wide monitor. So much fun! I hope I have one in my home but it is overkill for my cooking skill.
OMG I love okinomiyaki! The noodle one at the end looked totally amazing! I wish I knew what went into it. What was the white stuff he sprinkled on it? What was in his furikake? I want to know so I can make it since I can’t buy it anywhere during the lockdown and I’m craving it like nothing else!
