Welcome to Japan! In Japan your McDonalds take away bag will be put into a plastic bag. I still shop assists that I‘ve brought my own bag and I don’t need extra plastic bags... most of them give me a funny look but some are ok with this. I don’t mind if I stand out, environment is more important than fitting in

A lot of sandwiches in Japan come without crust. It takes away from the visual aesthetic and texture of the bread. The texture is a major component as to why crust is cut off. I guess its a bit of a cultural thing. I personally do not like crust because of the texture, so I much prefer them that way
The dressing is whipped cream and the bread is great, called Japanese milk bread. Little sweet, oh so good. Since I mostly eat fruit, this is a great diversity for me. Thank you for posting. Ladies are so precise, men too. ❤😊
I googled japanese fruit sandwiches and they are made mainly in bakeries. The white spread is whipped cream. The bread is a japanese milk bread, which can be found a japanese bakeries in the US.
It definitely does taste like a slice of fresh sponge cake....cut the corners of the bread slices and half the sandwich...garnish it with cream on the sides and it would look exactly like a pastry and taste like it too

パンを先に並べるから遠くまで手を伸ばしてパンを取らないといけなくなる。クリームを最初にのせる人の横にパンを置いてクリームをのせてから並べれば良いのに。

当方、一応調理師資格所持の調理従事責任者及び店舗経営者です。
ステンレス作業台は調理直前に当然アルコール消毒などされていると思いますが、酸化皮膜(拭くと真っ黒)や経年劣化による錆びやキズに埋まった蓄積汚れなど必ずありますので、当方は必ずラップを引いた上で作業しております。
学生時代にスーパー惣菜やコンビニ厨房、飲食店でアルバイトをした時も必ずそのように会社から指導されました。
私も常に心掛けておりますが、知識が無い一般の方にご覧頂いても不信感を持たれない仕事をするのが本当のプロだと思います。

食中毒菌はどこにでもあるから、気を配りすぎな位で丁度よいと思ってます。
マスク、帽子、制服が必要だと思いました。折角の取材が裏目に出ている気がします。予想ですが私服にエプロンでしょうか？加熱して口にする物では無い為衛生面が不安です。こういう物を食べても平気な人間の体って強いんだなと思いました。

製造しながら接客販売も行うため
接客でマスクを付けていると印象が悪くなるとの事で当時着用義務がなかったのですが
この後くらいにマスクは必ず終日付けて作業しておりましたし
作業台、使用器具、タッパー等毎回
ひつこいくらいにアルコール消毒、乾燥、をして作業しておりました。
果物とサンドイッチを切るまな板も分けて使用し
全て毎日殺菌して使用しておりました。
服装もその後改善しております。
こちらの店舗は現在閉店しており
下北沢に移転となっております。
フルーツサンドじゃなかったらここまで批判されなかったかもしれませんね‥非加熱のものを調理するときは家庭でも細心の注意を払って、作業台にラップくらいひきますからね‥
プロのかたのコメントにもありますが、いくら作業台をアルコール消毒しても細かいキズに雑菌残ってるらしいですよ。

There used to be some bakeries that sold the bags of those cut edges. We deep fried and put the granulated sugar on them. A snack for kids!

@@user-en4qt1hc7z うちの職場もコールドテーブル使ってますよ。でもテーブルに食材の直置きは絶対しないですね。サンドイッチ系も取り扱ってますが切ってすぐに透明シートで包んで箱詰めします。コールドテーブルって冷蔵庫・冷凍庫の上の作業台なだけで搬入のダンボール乗せたり食材以外を乗せる事もあります。製造側としてもう少し考えた方がいいと思います。
衛生面が欠けてる様に思いました。出来上がりは綺麗で美味しそうに見えるけど髪の毛は後ろに結んだだけでは…それにマスクもしてないのがビックリです。

It definitely does taste like a slice of fresh sponge cake....cut the corners of the bread slices and half the sandwich...garnish it with cream on the sides and it would look exactly like a pastry and taste like it too
I want to taste it too but I wonder if that is mayonnaise or whipped cream

まだコロナ禍前なんだろうけど、動画とるからって気合いいれた服なのかな、、食品扱う人だったら前からきちんと服とかマスク、三角巾などやってるんだろうけど甘い感じでしてたんだろうね(笑)
同業者です。帽子マスク着用アルコールスプレーは使用しないのかな…不衛生な気がする…私は食べたくないな残念。

I thought these were the ones where they cut it on a bias and reveal a design with the fruit like flowers. Still oddly satisfying.
