Cant recommend the discord enough, My 1080p build was closer to 500$ but I saved a ridiculous amount using the ZTT deals section. 26$ case with fans, 60$ 10th gen mobo with wifi, and free SSD coupon just to list a few.
As far as I'm aware all of those ram compatibility issues have been fixed, mostly through Bios updates for the mobo, unless of course you buy a motherboard from 2017-2018 :D
WOW! This is fantastic! I think this is MUCH better value than the 3200g build you showcased just a while ago. This is great! And what a nice upgrade path available! great build. Thanks for a great video!
I just bought this case and everywhere it says that it supports up to 150mm coolers but Freezer 34 fits without a problem which is 157mm cooler. Great budget little case btw.
I find in my area I have the most success with flips in the 350-400 dollar range. Less than that and they tend not to be powerful enough, more than that and they don't seem to sell that well. But if I get good prices on the parts I can still usually make 100-150 bucks profit AND give them a good pc.
Yeah, it's really hard to flip anything over like $500-600 because nobody wants to pay that much to get into gaming on PC. In my experience it's often kids who saved up and are on a tight budget. Ideally, I'd center my build around decent quality Chinese X99 with a 8C/16T CPU and turbo boost unlock, cheap local ECC RAM, used PSU, used cooler and a new case as well as new SSD. But at that point we're already at close to $350 before the GPU. It's a shame, because that means E3-1225 v3 (i5 4th gen basically) with an R9 270 or similar are basically the best deals you can get. You end up selling 1080p esports builds for $350 at about $100 markup that aren't really upgradeable in the future and pretty much bottleneck each other perfectly. Only upside is that the old HD7850 and R9 270 get custom AMD NimeZ drivers so you don't lose support (and DX12 support is decent) unlike with GTX 700 series.
personally, I'd go with the MSI brand and the 450 M series board. as with the memory I'd go with Crucial as Micron is based here in Boise and I trust the brand. for the SSD and M.2 Drive, Crucial is the brand to go with. I really don't trust generic brands from China.
@@ZachsTechTurf No joke, they were almost identical to the build you did on your first Flipping Friday. Except I had an R5 1600ae, and you had the af. Exact same RAM kit, too! Really enjoying your stuff, man! This is a fun game we're in!

I would of mainly opted for a build with a i3 10100 and a cheap B560 board instead as for gaming it would perform a lot better than the R5 2600 also 72c is a little toasty for a RX 560 as well.
Honestly even the HD7850 / R9 270 will outperform the 560 for less than $40-50. They're the cheapest cards of their respective lineup and still get driver updates through AMD NimeZ drivers.
looking to buy an gaming pc next friday.. seems like they have better games than ps5 so ill spend the money an pc... the thing is I have zero knowledge about whats needed.
To be honest, I don't believe the prices cited. Just the Aliexpress RX 560 hover more around 180$USD not 135$USD ... I just don't believe these numbers. Maybe he bought a bunch six months ago when they might've been at that price but RIGHT NOW, they don't go for that price.
You're allowed to think that and be skeptical. I understand that view point because most of my videos have really good deals like this. But just know that there's zero motivation for me to lie about the prices that I pay.
@@ZachsTechTurf Thanks for replying. I don't doubt that with effort you can get those kind of deals .. and really, I watch every one of your videos. It's just most of us don't have the time to scour the net for those singleton deals that happen from time to time so - happy you are able to manage them but it would be nice to have say "price I paid" versus "price you'll typically find if you don't have time to find these sweet deals" ... that way we'll get a range of prices to gun for. PS: I built a similar build with a Ryzen 5 1500X which is a CPU you've recommended in the past, cost me around 600$CAD (450$ USD) with an R9 270. Pretty happy with that one. But the GPU was bought during the early COVID days, I only paid 40$ (75$ with shipping) in CAD$. Nowadays it'll go more around 100$.

Nice man, good to hear.

Super happy that you benchmarked so many games, I know it takes a long time, but it's so cool to watch

Top Notch Quality, Content, Information, Sound, Aesthetics.
Thanks ZTT !
I really appreciate it Mueed!
Well done Sam. Thanks for doing all the benchmarks.

Those case and fans look so damn clean. And to think that at this budget, some would upgrade an old office pre-built.
That's definitely not a bad way to go either, but yea this way is my preference lol

$45-$50 is ok for a new case. A used one is better and cheaper. I could find a decent used one for $20-$30.
