I have an epc9 all aero with faxon bcg and runs great. I got a backup toolcraft bcg and it won't extract after first round and smash my mag...any reason you kno?
Hey man I know this is a few years late ,but I just found your video and I have a question. What about the trigger can you use a milspec fcg or do you need a dedicated pcc fcg?
Been waiting for this. Ended up picking up a Foxtrot Mike 9mm BCG for my build. Looks like a solid build. I’m using the Kaw Valley complete buffer kit with mine.
Thanks for watching! Yeah Foxtrot is definitely worth it from what I've researched. I can vouch for Toolcraft because I've tested three bcgs and they all have worked really well. I love that they offer a lifetime no questions asked warranty too. I'll look forward to your videos on your ar9!
Colt style would mean it runs colt magazines and not Glock or another brand. I haven’t heard of that before with them using 5.56 extractor. Interesting info! Thanks for watching!

Was looking for reviews, and now purchasing this one
Question , i see the extractor on the bolt face but what ejects the spent case ? i don't see how they spent rounds get ejected once fired. I have a standard AR lower and the CMMG Magazine insert
So some magazine inserts have a built in ejector like the stern defense one I was using. I since have an ar9 from palmetto state armory and the ejector is built into the lower. Thanks for watching.
Same here for a Spikes upper. Super tight and won't go into battery. Perhaps with some heavy use it will break in, but never had that issue with JP Enterprises and Quarter Circle 10 BCGs.
I'm no fan of nib but toolcraft does it right. My toolcraft nib bcg for my first AR build still looks brand new after thousands of rounds. I see other nib bcg's flaking etc

Do you use a regular carbine buffer spring or a specific 9mm buffer spring?
Right now it has a regular carbine buffer spring and a heavy 9mm extended length buffer
@@maxhayward2127 Thanks. That's what I got for mine. Hopefully I can get out to the range soon.
@@ProfesionalNewbie the ar9 is a blast to shoot! Enjoy it!
There’s some that use 556 extractor. The one I bought says colt style does that mean it’s 1911 extractor

@@182QKFTW thanks for adding the info much appreciated! It’s still running good. Upgraded to a Wilson combat firing pin though.

I bought one of these and having a real difficult having this fit in my 9MM K&E Arms upper... really tight fit. Is that normal?
Hmmm it shouldn’t be a really tight fit. How does the bcg do that it came with? (If it came with a different one). Maybe the upper is out of spec?

How’s the other Nib bcg holding up?
Great, it hasn't given me any issues. The finish is still going strong too. I'm gonna do an update on it soon.
