- A lovely pair of classic 105 series Alfas: One Giullia Super, the other a GT Junior. Both having lived fairly hard lives in the past, these owners have chosen to preserve the imperfections of their cars.

Every time I see a shot of the car driving from the front, I can only picture Mumbo in the back of a van with a playstation remote controlling a camera
The Gaming Brit XD YES
The gaming years have pay off for him
Are Dil Factor *paid
Lol
Redstone powered remote
I've gotta say, for a self taught film enthusiast you have got a fantastic eye and gift for cinematography. All of these feel like big budget funded projects not from a UA-camr with a love and a passion to share. Very expertly shot and edited, well done Oli!
Kyle El Well said!
Yes very well said indeed
Wait is this the same guy that makes red stone stuff in Minecraft
Guy no no no redstone god
Yis this is Mumbo Jumbo
Oh yeah yeah
Yes
perhaps
For the first 30 seconds of this video I love how Mumbo makes some guy just getting into his car and driving it about seem so dramatic
Yeah it is meant to be
Its like a car commercial
Dude, you are so good with cameras and this film stuff. Keep it up!
its john
@@checkmyvideos8118 I have a question...
WHO THE HELL IS JOHN?!
FBI mumbos cameraman
He’s also good at redstone
20 seconds in and the camera work is so great
Just a bit shaky and maybe add in some nice slow mo
@void_sm99 i can see that
1000th like
I like it.. it looks cool
Omg the first shot with both of the cars at 1:50 is just absolutely stunning!
Yeah, this looks like a million dollar production. Stunning.
it looks like a game
It's that moment you just stop and look at how incredible your life your career is and was...
The Moment Richard Hammond comes up with his Dodge Charger and loud exhaust noises.
the way the second car is revealed is just brilliant
can we appreciate how well he captured those engine sounds
Alfa Romeo the most underrated car company of all time that is still in business to this day

That shot is so beautiful, it looks like it comes from a movie.
you are really talented
Agreed!
Yup
The absolute fastest way to move in minecraft
XD

Lol
@@boom9579 play along
I would watch a film with Mumbo just filming cars in motion; so perfect.
I saw a car like this for the first time and I don't know why but I love it
That love at first sight bro
Because its an Alfa
@@cfl8874 Yep, weird but beautiful. Alfa Romeo just has some heart and soul in them that you have a bit of difficulty seeing in other cars. Whoever pens these cars and carves the first drafts really understands beauty in cars.
May whoever they be ascend.
@@revolver265 yes but mumbo is really good at filming these mini documentaries.
to be honest I did not expect this video to be soo good, It is even better than some television shows but that is my opinion
All television shows, IMO. 😉
isnt that the purpose of youtube?
@@nurenzayyan4825 yes it is
UA-cam productions at the top end have been better than tv for a while now. No agendas, not trying to please all demographics, no filler segments to take up prime time. When I go back to watching tv car shows it hurts.
I know right
I love this color grade and framing! Keep going Mumbo!✌️😎
Classic, carbureted, small engines make such a good sound. That induction sound never gets old.
Agreed
Alpha Romeo: they’re broken all the time, all with different problems, but we love them anyway! These are absolutely beautiful! Keep it up Mumbo
Except new ones are good, also it's alfa not alpha
Zentrify auto correct! Uhh... when I say Alfa I mean the originals like the cars shown in the video! (Should have said that) new Alfas don’t have the same character
@@locrianico6843 a giulia qv most definitely has the same character
@@locrianico6843 your not a real Alfa lover lmao, only the mito and giulietta aren't "real" alfas
What a lie. Alfa have no less problems then a BMW of the same era. Our Alfa 155 went mid England - Scotland - Mid England no issues. 3 years ago it went from England to Italy to England.. no problems
Incredible video, as always! Keep it up mate! ❤️❤️
Lee Burnette panthers!
Keep Pounding!
The sound of those engines just gave me eargasms.
Everyone talking about the camera angles and shots, but just listen to the noises those little engines make!
Wow, what a beautiful car.
0:21 *OH MY... THAT BEAUTIFUL SOUND* 🤣🤣🤣
I can make that sound.
Only problem is that it's going to smell *very stanky*.
Mumbo never fails to impress whether it's redstone or filming, I absolutely love his wonderful work.
The sound of those two is to die for.
I've been a fan of classic cars and, indeed, Alfa Romeos as long as I can remember - they are truly beautiful vehicles. Knowing how you are much the same, I can only imagine how much fun this was to make Mumbo!
I also recently purchased an ultrawide 21:9 monitor - this is the first video I've watched on it. Perfect combination.
Thankyou for this.
Haha... love the license plate because "Jux" in German means something like a bad joke :D
an enjoyable bad joke tho ;)
Was denn
SHD Kappa the car is a joke.
Ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen
Ez deutsch Gang am Start
Every time I watch this I have tears in my eyes and goosebumps. I hope to find a car like this one day.
Listening to these guys talk about their cars just makes me so proud to be a petrol head. Real petrol heads know it's not about having the most perfect example of a car but having something that you love and puts a smile on your face, it's the character and the story and the meaning behind the car not the quality that just meets the naked eye. From exotics to classic Europeans to Japanese sports to American muscle. Who cares what other people think, it's all about the smiles per miles.
personally I'm not super into cars, but your camera work is amazing :)
Custard Cat it’s a money pit of a hobby
Wonderful video, great angles and the driving scenes and the more personal type of interview, was brilliant.
Mumbo, as someone who began watching your Minecraft videos religiously and now doesn't really play anymore, it has been so amazing to be able to keep supporting your content. The quality and skill behind these filming channel videos are breathtaking and I am just mind blown by the effort and talent that shines through. Keep up the amazing work because I really think you are good enough to have a future in this profession!
It's interesting to see old alfas like this , they're usually extremely shiny. The worn around the edges look works well and makes them a lot more practical.
You should do a poll on your main channel asking how many people actually watch the filming channel
Isaac Taylor-Cummings why?
@@elliotcopeland4979 Because this channel gets less views and has less subs
Isaac Taylor-Cummings but why should he do a poll.
@@elliotcopeland4979 why not
Lmao what???
Absolutely love it Ollie. The cinematography, the story telling, the sound design, the grade. Very well done on this one :) Also those little Alfas are bloody beautiful!
The transition between interviews of one alpha overtaking the other is by far my favorite moment in this film. The way the audio shifts from one car to the other is great.
1000%. The visuals are one thing, but if you are a car guy you notice the sound of one engine being overtaken by the other. Incredible.
I didn't even know, that the Mumbo Jumbo I knew from youtube that was showing us different minecraft redstone builds...was a CAR GUY just like me..us. And this documentaries are so...breathtaking. Actually perfect camera work I would say! Really enjoyed the video.
Thank you, Mumbo.
Hey mumbo i just wanna ask when and why/how did you get really into cars
@ITSPGPLAYS men*
It just naturally happens I guess, a person can be car enthusiast since birth or at their 70s
This is definitely not an easy question to answer
He originally was really into bmx’s and into car games so I think that just lead up to this. I remember him saying something like this in one of his big dig live streams.
Petrol runs in our veins - we may have not realized it at first, but it always has. It's one of those things that you either 'get', or you don't. Definitely not the easiest of questions to give a good answer to in my opinion...
This is just so good, the quality is astonishing! Sending love from Italy!
Absolutely. Wonderful.
The revealing shot of the second car is so well crafted I can't even comprehend. From the curve to the actual reveal to the hill in the road to the sound its truly breathtaking.
Alfa romeo are the best
Ps brilliant voice
Damn! Just came from your other channel and subbed this is lovely stuff! Keep it up!
I love how mumbo gave special thanks to the dog
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the use of the car noise....
Incredible mini doc Mumbo!
I love alfa romeos too. Great Job Oliver 💓
As usual amazing cinematics by mumbo
I came here from a random minecraft building video and all I can say is; Wow. This is not the quality of something I was expecting from a silly guy who is obsessed with redstone.
As someone who loves film, has a dad who loves cars, and is very into cinematography, I am in love with what you're doing on this channel. I'm so glad I stumbled across a silly redstone build.
1:53 Such a clean way to make a transition, love it when filmmakers do that.
Astonishing lighting... massive love and support from Iran!
Koorosh Asadzadeh what guitar is that in your profile pic?
slap a JDM body kit on the two Alpha Romeo's and you made a new Need For Speed movie Mumbo!
great work, this is my most favorite video so far
oof
My dad is an extremely passionate Alfa Romeo driver- so this film really touched me, thank-you, Mumbo.
im absolutely in love with this series. ive been showing these to my old man and he is always blown away at the camera quality and the amazing rolling shots. cheers from birmingham alabama!
Americans (Me): Oh danggg thats kewl
People in the UK: Blimey! Thats a splendid video right there
Wouldnt it be cool if he made a video called American Blaze
Do all Americans think that all brittish people speak like the queen?
Well Im literally just taking it off of what mumbo has actually said before lmao
Atlast the buety is out
this is absolutely wonderful, mumbo, you have such a beautiful way of capturing and showing us these small worlds, your passion really shows in these films and that in itself is incredible.
This is soo nifty!! Seeing owners that are really passionate about the hobbies they enjoy is refreshing.
RIP Charles 😥
MUMBO IS AMAZING, u have inspired me to start my channel and soon i will be vlogging on it, thank you so much
I subbed too you
These kinds of videos always make me think I love cars and I just never realized how awesome they can be
These mini documentaries are just like real ones. So much good work. I love the sound of the cars.
"Assistant and tracking car driver : Victoria"
Shout out to her for driving along with such cool cars and doin damn good!😎😎
*tracking car is the camera car right? 😊
I can see certain similarities between the 66 giulia and the 2019 giulia
I love the shot composition in this film. Every time I come back to this channel I see improvement, keep doing what you love Mumbo! It really shows.
Classic Alpha Romeos are just the best. I love the fact that they are beautiful, cool, and cute all at the same time

I agree, especially for the interview scenes now that I've watched the full video, but still just maybe before supportive about suggesting something and he may be more inclined to try what you say
Albert Gotfredsen I like the handheld
Eh, I think it fits the story better. The “unsterile” feel it gives helps reflect the cars and the ways that their owners feel about them.
The intake noise from these two is to die for! Beautiful video, one of the best films I've seen in a while.
I love the scenes where you film the cars driving from a low angle. It's really amazing, especially when going downhill. I absolutely love this!

I like how the people you film are so incredibly genuine. They are true, down-to-earth, and perhaps, most importantly, are passionate about the subject matter. It really shines through in combination with the music, the direction, and the atmosphere captured and developed in the filming.
I thought I had seen every Alfa video on YT. Apparently not. Captured the essence of what it’s like to have a car that you really love. Stellar video! I will be watching multiple times.
Ive watched this video so many times, I love looking at Charles car. Just something about the way the car bounces on the road
The sound of these cars never ever fails to put a big smile on my face 😍
The dudes really love their cars, I just couldn't be happier for them
Oh my god!!! The sound is actually bringing me tears!!! Holy Alfa!!! This is so awesome!
By far your greatest piece yet Mumbo. Just insane drama within the cinematography and incredible audio work. A true legend at the art, keep it up.
I really love the way you shoot your documentaries. It always feels very natural and honest. Keep up that amazing work you're doing!
What puts this over the top for me is how wonderfully the sound of the engines came through. I don't know how you captured that, but watching this video, I could FEEL those cars like I was right there on the road with them. You have a gift, mate. Well done!
I can’t get over the way these cars sound. It’s so amazing it has me in love.
Every one of your documentaries, I get so emotional and feel completely immersed in the story. Thank you for creating such amazing, information, thought provoking, beautiful and polished videos. Hope you feel better from your sickness by the way. :)
Love how at 2:54 the light spills through and reflects like it would onto film, fantastic colour grading work!
I've been waiting for this since you first started teasing it. Man, you did not disappoint. AMAZING work Oli!!!
What a stunning piece of film. These cars are gorgeous, the cinematography is phenomenal, and I just love this. Well done.
These mini docs are beautiful. I'm incapable of stopping myself from smiling. They always give me a sense of warmth in my heart. You really know how to film Mumbo.
As an American I really appreciate these talented snippets into heritage sports cars, especially ones that have a degree of unobtanium here. Old Alfas in the wild are as rare as spider jockeys in that sense.
I never wanted to actually film documentaries but discovering your mini-documentaries changed my mind. Thank you!
I love cars and I love great cinematography. That's why I'm looking forward to every upload on this channel.
To preface, I have never been a "petrol head" or anything close.
This video; with the cars, people, and all around fantastic cinematography/editing, has made me feel like I have missed out on so much by not having an Alpha Romeo in my life. There is a genuine sort of happy sadness after watching this video. Almost like seeing the love of your life, being genuinely happy with someone else. The amount of emotion that I felt while watching this has honestly never happened to me with any other form of media/video, etc. (Obviously there have been things in my life that have happened to me that have made me feel tons of emotions). Anyway, with my first ever comment on UA-cam, I have to say, this video right here is quite possibly the greatest thing I have ever watched. Mumbo, you have created one magnificent piece of art. Thank you.
I love how you film them talking from the side at an angle for some reason it just shows them with more character and it's great!
the sound of the cars is just amazing!
It is the first time i looked into this channel and now i cant stop watching
Great work mumbo
I love every one of these you do. I LOVE cars more than I like people. These documentaries you do give such a great insight into the cars you film, and the emotions the owners have for them. It makes me want to go and work on my own car every time.
Thank you and keep up the great work.
_" I LOVE cars more than I like people"_
Words simply can't describe how relatable that statement is...
There are no words to describe how much I love watching this video, you did an AMAZING job!
I always feel bad watching these videos on my phone screen because it really cant to them justice. I always pull up the UA-cam app on my tv for them. They're just so beautiful
This was so cool Mumbo. Your color grading is spectacular, and the handheld shots give this just the perfect amount of wobble to keep the feel of being there next to these cars. Fantastic work
The quality and smoothness of camera work is impressive as always. Love the road, the weather and mood these vintage cars are exhibited in.
