I believe you will still get quite some cool updates on SR+ as well, including a substantial range increase comparing with 2020 model. So, be happy, you are probably going to get good value for money and yes, on longer journeys you will have to charge more often. Cheers. SUBSCRIBE to stay tuned!
Yes, Model 3 is damn fast for a modest look it has. I can only imagine the frustration to some of these guys owning M, S, R so on when they are overtaken by Model 3. Still, M5 will be winning on top speed and potentially other aspects yet, Model 3 is not even in that class. SUBSCRIBE and stay tuned!
Yeah, I had Matrix Led in VW Passat GTE and that was awesome yet, rarely used. In Passat GTE, while driving in ECO mode (which was most common drive mode I used) the Adaptive Matrix Led was disabled and honestly, I never need that one in The Netherlands as most highways have public lights. However, the story was different when driving abroad on some plain dark roads 😊. As explained in the video, the car was ordered as “2020 model” therefore I’m happy I got other “goodies” from 2021 model 😊 So, missing Matrix Led is something I’ll have to put up with on some occasional trips. If we talk about lights, I can tell you what I miss the most. You will be surprised but is actually decent reverse lights, as I can barely see something when reversing in the dark. I need to do something about that. You are right about wheels yet, I find the 19” wheels look way better than standard (with or without covers). Thank you for your interest to my video(s). I see you have a lot too on your channel ;)
@@ZEFElectric yeh I review new cars, Tesla M3 was one of the best I tested. I live in Croatia, we have street lights as well unlike Austria which is little scary at night. I fast forwarded the video. If you order 2020 expecting old model this is awesome you got refresh model 3. Matrix can be retrofitted in the future if you really need them. I don’t understand why European version has only one reverse light while Australian or US have two? Or why EU taillight have short turn signal while China have wide same as US which is colored red instead of amber.
@@Michael_NL I think so too. Pay attention, you will lose a bit on the range/efficiency and riding comfort yet, I think they are worth it. Have you order yours already? If not, feel free to use my referral code. Cheers!
Yes indeed! I just came back recently from a long trip, 8.500 Km with this car across Europe. I'm now even more convinced that this was the right decision to go for this car. Yes, a bit weird. The car was ordered as 2020 model so I’m still happy that it came with some of the 2021 updates (e.g. central console, heat pump, that updated rubber in the trunk that makes a big difference, powered trunk and some other minor aspects).

Of course it depends on driving style and conditions. At 100Km/h highway speed I expect to get about 400 Km (250 miles) of range but on country roads that will go easy above 500 Km (310 miles) of range. I plan to perform some real world range tests with this car so SUBSCRIBE and stay tuned!
@@ogdastarwalker8341 In my case is a leased car but I can tell it's cheaper to lease this one comparing other ICE cars that are even less expensive to purchase. That's definitely an indication that the "cost of ownership" is lower and/or the remaining value will be higher. Both are good aspects for private owned cars as well :) I'm collecting data right now and I will be doing some "cost of ownership" reviews later on
Thank you Kamau. If you are referring to the risk of getting dirty, for muddy roads I will recommend installing “mud flaps” which comes in two sizes. They are relatively cheap and can be found from Tesla or other brands: shop.tesla.com/product/model-3-mud-flaps I hope this helps!
Receiving my Model 3 SR+ on monday. LR 2021 Facelift model was my initial plan but prices were to high :(

I wouldn’t except the car delivery without Matrix LED. You should of went for 18” wheels better comfort and you get more range with hubcaps on.
