  • We test some new Fivics Vellator limbs. We discuss the difference between cheap and expensive limbs. We discuss how the cheap vs expensive limbs feel. We then test the new 68" 36# Fivics Vellator limbs with 700 spine arrows to see if they tune and give our overall opinion of the limbs

Thanks Steven. I don't care about graphics either which is why I added an bell to each compound limb. Now when I shoot it,... "Jingles" all the way 😂.......🏹🤠👍

I notice Fivics limb tends to be stiffer comparing with WIAWIS/WNS limbs. Is that true?

Maybe. It may be how they measure them. I know when I was swtiching between limbs I could not notice. I did notice the XP and the Uuukha's. They have more preload so you work harder at the start. So infact in the Fivics I jumped in poundage compared to the XP limbs in Win and Win. It is hard to tell 2# difference. From memory. My 48# limbs were drawing 56# at 29" before my surgery. The key is to build up slowly and note that more speed means more work. So if you go for the big curve limbs then you may need lighter limbs.
But our bodies build up quick if we train.

I haven't seen this with the higher end models (Titan NX Wood, Titan EX Wood and Foam or Argon X Wood), but both sets of Vellator Wood limbs (2nd gen) I had felt significantly stiffer than other limbs of corresponding draw weights from Korean manufacturers. What limbs did you shoot?

Thank you - it takes time and effort to build up. If you are doing it easy then the bow is to light in my view. I have been shooting these limbs for 2 weeks now and thinking about jumping up in poundage. Still hurts my chest. After shooting last night my chest hurt, so in bed early. I think it is part of the struggle.

Steven I watch all your videos. You are looking better, but I would suggest not to push it too quickly regarding poundage increases. Your arm was shaking a lot using that poundage.

Yes this was at the start of testing these limbs so this was a jump from 32 to 36, It was a struggle. I started with 5 arrow ends. then 10 arrows a day till 30 arrows a day, then 60 a day. Im in 2 weeks now and my scores are starting to pick up 270's indoors, I fatigue. But the improvement most days is noticable. Last night I had to stop with chest pain. Back out tonight and it felt good. I have about 6 weeks till nationals so I need to decide if I will shoot once or twice. 60 arrows vs 120 arrows.

I am taking so many Vitamins - Omega, K2, Zinc, Magnesium, B, C, IP5, CQ10, something for the liver, a probiotic. I dont know if it makes a difference but I feel Im improving. While I shoot I watch doctors speak about health and diet. Thank you

Pandarus Infinity 700 with 120 points. They tuned perfect.36# limbs I guess at my draw 38#. I am very happy with them. I have not shot at distance yet. But indoor a good shot goes in the 10. My fatigue causes form to drop so I throw some bad shots. tonight was the best I have shot since the op. But I see no reason I could not win with these arrows. Very happy with them.

Funny that the failed limb that is shown is one of the most expensive

I only mention it because some people are very sensitive. Things happen. Our string or something may fail or we may fail. So to finish an event I always feel is an achievement. I think some people said the limb which broke had issues in the heat? In Australia we have extreme heat and cold so it really tests the equipment. these days equipment is very good.
