Steven, Have you tried snapping the string about 4-5” before shooting. It helps in settling the limbs and eliminates the cracking sound on the first shot.
I'm shooting the wood version of these and find them very similar to the Titan EX limbs I had before. Great limbs. You mentioned magnesium for muscle recovery so I just wanted to throw in the suggestion to trying blueberries as well. Several studies have found them to significantly speed up muscle recovery and reduce delayed onset muscle soreness.
