Minor correction, Kirby CAN talk in the games (the anime where he only says "poyo" isn't canon). His main phrase in the games and Smash bros is "Hai" which translates to "Yes". Also, the flavour text for the sleep ability in games like Return to Dream Land and Triple Deluxe are written in first person from Kirby himself.
