When an MP5 has the price advantage... 😂
Lol that tells me everything I needed to know
**plus the MP5 doesn't need a buffer tube.
@@kirkchartier7141neither does the cmmg descent
That is funny. You are right!!!
Base Price: $3199? No thank you
Ha ha ha ha ! IKR? That's conceal carry, rifle, shotgun, ammo and classes! ROFL.
To much, keep it 😢
You just saved me 16 minutes and 25 seconds sir.
Exactly!
No thanks ! Drawback ? PRICE 🙄
You lost me at $3000, no thanks
😂
Thank you for this comment. I won’t even finish the video, saved me 16:25 of my life
@@ickess you're welcome! I didn't watch past the point where he said $3,000 either!
I'm out too lol
Damn I'm glad I checked the comments 1st lol
I bought a S&W FPC 9mm and absolutely love it! Not a single malfunction! Total investment:$700 including extra mags. Not everyone has $3200 to drop a 9mm carbine
Yeah, as soon as I saw the comments on the cost, stopped watching. My AR9 I pieced together that cost about $800 and has had zero malfunctions with over 2000 rounds, and it shoots right at 1 MOA with good ammo.
Diamondback manufactures some very nice pc carbines for under $1K.
I don't have $1 to drop on a 9mm luger pcc. 10mm or (other more controversial rounds), absolutely. The old combo was .357 revolver + lever and it'd be awesome to have a modern combo of the same in something with at least the backbone of a .357
S&W just came out with a.44 mag lever action stainless tactical set up. With more calibers to come.
Sounds like you're all set lubrew !
Extar EP9 for the win 😊
Oh, yeah. It ticks all of the boxes HO mentioned. Even though it has a conventional blowback action, the recoil mitigation Extar does is great.
AR controls, 9mm, Glock mags, suppressor-ready, reliable, accurate, and you could buy SEVEN of them for what the JP costs. ($450 vs $3,400). A win for us “poors.”
I love mine.
Love mine, just wish they made the same thing but all aluminum or metal!
Nope. It’s a cheap piece of shit. The best is B&T AP9 Pro followed closely by the H&K SP5.
@@carldouglasmiles5594 "Cheap piece of shit" really quantifies its shortcomings. 🙄
@@carldouglasmiles5594 way better than keltec sub 2000 at about the same price. Love mine suppressed and it’s been a dream to shoot, especially for the money.
CMMG ticks all those boxes nicely.
CMMG has shit reviews and customer service. Would do some heavy research on that company and it’s guns.
@@phillip1756 I have yet to see a "shit" review of CMMG. They produce high quality products that are almost universally praised. Sounds like you have an axe to grind for some reason.
The best PCC is the one you can afford and shoot well.
I use to think PCC were pointless. Then I watched a bunch of Active Self Protection video showing people getting dropped quick by pistols. Yes, people can take multiple hits from a pistol and keep fighting, but that almost never happens from what I've seen. So now I think PCC are viable for gun fights inside 50 yards.
I STILL think they are pointless!
Banshee for me, all day long!
I don't understand why anyone would drop $3200 on this. The CMMG Banshee is available in a bunch of different calibers. I have 1 in 9mm and 2 in .45. They have everything that is listed here; AR controls, AR trigger parts, delayed blowback, Mlock handguard, pic rail, fully ambi, and most calibers use Glock mags. You can catch them on sale sub $1400 at Battlehawk Armory. Heck sometimes you can grab the braced or pistol versions for sub $1200. You can also buy just the barrel and bolt carrier group to build you own directly from CMMG. I took an older Foxtrot Mike FM9 and converted it to delayed blowback with the CMMG barrel and bolt combo and I think the price was like $350. All in with a sale on a FM9 ($500) and a nice single stage flat Rise ($50) trigger, I'm at like $900.
Save yourself 2k and get a PTR if you want an MP5 style gun.
Or for about 1k now you can get a Scorpion and the mags are less than 1/2 the price of the MP5 mags.
Or Save $3k and get the Extar EP9. He has done a 1k round and 3k round review and for $500 you can beat it. I have over 1k rounds in mine and the only issues I have had has been with ETS mags and its been less 10 issues at that. Plus it takes double stack glock mags and who doesn't have a bunch of those laying around.
- I'm gonna try a standard lower with a Stern Defense Mag-AD9 adapter to use Glock magazines.
Every time I get a notification for Honest Outlaw PCC content I pray and hope it’s about the stribog 10mm. Still happy seeing his PCC content though.
I'll see if I can get one
Aw yeah let's go
Yes exactly the comment I was looking for I’ve only seen a few guys even mention it even less shoot one
I'll stick with my Foxtrot Mike . It will kill@@HonestOutlawReviews
@@HonestOutlawReviewsWe want to see the new 45 as well.
I've been thinking about a PCC for home defense, but for $3,000+ I think I'll stick with my $1,200 BCM 5.56 build for now.
Extar ep9 is around $500. Something to consider
@@badart3204I bought an Extar and it has been great.
Daniel Defense PCC is coming out this year, sub-$2k
@@badart3204is it actually good? What are the sacrifices for that price?
Just got the evo 3 plus for 699 from palmetto. FYI I don't think there is a better gun with a better pedigree for that price. I just got it as a holdover until I get a B&T APC.🖖
I bought a Ruger PCC from Battlehawk for $500. $500 well spent! Love this thing
Love seeing my favorite gun store supporting the channel
Your contribution to spreading knowledge is greatly appreciated
Yeah, I'll stick with the CMMG Banshee as the best PCC. Everything you want, nothing you don't.
Lol the name of the song is Jingle Shells
I've purchased many things from battlehawk armory, good company. Also enjoying my huxwrx flow and the 5 day wait. Thanks ATF 👍
Crazy that this uploaded. Perfect timing, I just purchase the Kriss vector 10mm and the Psa vk9 my first PCC. I am very happy with those and happy with new PCC content coming out letly
What a great great review, thank you Mr. Honest Outlaw !
I own many pcc’s such as the h&k sp5 , ptr9ct, 2 cz scorpions, the cmmg banshee, Ruger charger, b&t ghm9c, stribog sp9a1, but my favorite of all which is my home defense weapon of choice is my b&t apc9k. I’ve shot a lot of rounds through it and it’s been my favorite of all by far.
I love my Banshee ARC9 kit! Best AR platform trainer rifle! IMO
Sounds like you just described the.....EXTAR EP9 GEN 2?🇺🇲
i was just looking for a PCC the other day... Thanks Outlaw!
Thanks again big fella, really enjoy the content. have a good one.
Another great review. Thanks!
Another great video thanks champ.
I have the JP GMR-15 PCC! Absolutely love it.
Love your channel
I will take my psa ar9. Over 3k rounds thru and not an issue. Was a fun build and takes my glock 17 mags. I like watching reviews on the expensive stuff helps me feel even better about how i spent my $$ i would rather blow money on ammo.
I have the same PSA AR9 Gen 4 works like a champ 8 inch barrel Glock mags red dot, under a 1,000.00
Absolutely amazing pcc. To. Go one better than an MP5 is just perfection
Love Battlehawk, just ordered a case of Longhorn 9s and a new Walther PDP... keep up the great work guys!
Good luck, they have the worst customer service ever
I have a FX 9 and absolutely love it! Price was nice as well!
Great content, Chris!
Woof making my APC9 Pro and MPX look like smart economic moves 😊
Just found your channel, and I've been going through a ton of your videos. Great content. Your videos have given me all the info I need to finally purchase a 5.7 pistol.
Outlaw sure runs like a fine tuned clock. I believe it comes down to budget for most people. I bought an S&W FPC. Seems like a good 9mm carbine so far.
Thanks for your great videos.
CMMG radial delay.
7.5 is the max barrel length.
10 causes drag on 9mm.
5.5 is obl
I built a 16 inch based on the CCMG barrel, bolt, and BCG. Runs great. Drops the cases at your feet. I use Magpul mags with the MEAN inserts. Aero receiver. LWRCI ambi lower.
Great Video as always!
Yeah for only.3500.00..nextttt
That's like saying "That Audi R8 is expensive!, nExT!"
I can't afford it yet either, but doesn't mean it isn't worth it.
😂
@@vipe650r It's a 9mm. It's not worth it.
@@boblaws9851 I'd say that's exactly WHY it's worth it.
great reviews
Extar EP 9 can’t go wrong. Love mine
So I can purchase 7 EXTAR EP9 GEN 2 for the price of this thing? C'mon Bruh!Great Content but we is the poors.😂
facts, im blue collar middle class , ill run my extar
@@sling3lade791 Best kept secret?🇺🇲
Ordered an Extar EP9 Gen 2 last week. Was notified yesterday that it has shipped. I can’t wait to pick it up. Already have an Sig Romeo 5 waiting to mount on it.
Expensive is an understatement
Jingle steel! The tune was jingle steel!
Welcome to the Jingle!
Nice, but I still want that CMMG MK4 dissent in 9mm.
^this!
i have it over 7k flawless rounds. it is a dream
@@somerandomgamer1260 I really like the idea of being able to swap uppers to change from 9mm to 5.7, .300blk, and 5.56
I really want the Dissent 9mm too!
More companies need to make “others”. Not a pistol, not a rifle, no BS tax stamps.
What are "others"?
Aren’t those smooth bore tho?
An AOW is still a form 1 bud. Pistols are the only way to get around bs currently.
I just bought the s&w response after the glitches have been fixed (feb. 12,2024) . Another factor to consider is all plastic. I like the lightness of it but we’ll see how durable and reliable it is over time. For home defense I think it would be perfect for youth and mothers since it’s light and not as loud as 5.56
Another nice firearm outside my budget that I would love to have.
Love the Ruger PC Charger. Sling, dot and extra mags for sub $1K.
When I set out to soec my AERO build, I key in mind the HK MP5 and brought together the BEST parts I can find. Hyperfire trigger and compensator, Mystic BCG and HK style sights. Telescopic shoulder brace. Works great
Maybe out of my price range but great points on why it would be a great choice. I'd include the Stribog in the best for the money category.
That thing looks sweet!
Base Price: $3199 FML
By far my most satisfying gun purchase! I have the 14.5" pinn and weld - It just runs and runs - nearly 20k flawlessly. The lock piece tuning is genius. I have 94 PF loads for Steel Challenge, no problem with the 100 degree lock piece. My 157 PF loads for bowling pins shoots like a dream with the 60 degree lock piece. Nothing else out there can do this. A 5.5" ultralight upper is on order from JP and if my previous experience (GMR-15) with this configuration is any indication, it will be year another game changer from JP.
It's a shame that so many people who can't afford something feel they have to bash it or swear what they have is "just as good"....without shooting the JP. Expensive no doubt but worth every penny of it.
Another nice vid, keep 'em coming.
Ruger mlock pc carbine. It's my plinker/ home defense gun.
I built one with a Faxon BCG and barrel. BCM upper and hand guard. I followed some online advice about the buffer system with a 8oz extended buffer and it runs tight and sharp. I would recommend a similar path.
Thanks for the review Chris. First I've seen on YT of the JP. I bought one for USPSA and it's ridiculous. Kraut Space Majic meets everything we have at home. Worth every penny.
Sold, now I plan how to get the money 😊
If i could make it as fast as i spend it, everything would be gravy. Lol my gpop used to tell me "money talks, but sll mine says is GOODBYE"!!! miss him all the time😂
Thanks for showing this! Great gun. One exception I have. IMHO, 10mm is king of pistol cartridges. Yes, it's more expensive than 9mm. That's okay with me! I would love to see this gun in 10mm. Just saying...
Just got a really good deal for my PCC on more of a heads up optic. Holosun scrs. Gonna put it on my Angstadt udp-9. The UDP-9 checks all those boxes except roller delayed. Mines a straight blow back but can run suppressed or unsuppressed. 115 - 147 hollows or fmj. I wish mine was more ambi since I'm a lefty!
Another great review. Thank you. I have to say that the JP seems to be an amazing weapon system, however, I do love my Banshee 9MM as well as my HK SP5. They both are extremely accurate, easy to handle and they shoot great suppressed. I have yet to have any malfunctions with either.
Looks good.
I know its not the best, but I love my CMMG Banshee in 9mm with the glock mags and I run a HUX RAD 9 can on it. Tons of fun and reliable.
Value to Price ratio is the best with Extar EP9 and EP45.
Bought an Extar on your recommendation. Had no idea it would quickly be my favorite gun I own. I still can't believe how soft shooting it is. That was unexpected.
"Jingle Bells" 😂 fitting since now I want one for Christmas.
Same!
I love my 8” CMMG 8” banshee pcc
Oooh 😮, i love battlehawk. Ive ordered like 4 guns, 3 optics, a can and many mags + cases of ammo from them
For me, it’s B&T. I have the APC9 SD with the 12.5 inch can, and a APC9 Limited 8.9 inch, i love these firearms. Pricey as heck but worth every penny. && those who don’t know, the SD makes everything subsonic, like the MP5 SD.
The guys at Battle hawk are dope. Good video too though 😁
I just priced a JP5 pistol with the 8” barrel, and it costs $4131.70
I love my Sig MPX-K.
Oh nice to see the Battlehawk name, they get very good deals and I have always been curious to order from them. Seeing them here is reassuring when I see my next potential purchase on their site!
I like my Sig MPX, with folding stock,, flip up irons, red dot and canted red dot.
The only thing I hate about your channel is it makes me want to buy more guns! I already have more than I use!!
I am on disability, sell some to me 😂😅😂😅
All I can say is it is a good thing my wife can't shoot because if she could and she knew how much money I've dropped on firearms and associated accoutrements she'd probably shoot me! It does add up quick. If somebody tries to car jack us or break into our house, then she'll appreciate the investment!
I've purchased a lot of stuff from Battlehawk even though I'm in Ohio. Actually just bought a 1301 tactical about a week ago and it shipped the next day and was at my FFL within 4 days. Highly recommend 👍🏼
Until you have to deal with their customer service.....
I just bought a Freedom Ordinance FX9. 8 inch barrel. I love it. I’m poor so I have to buy the mid/low grade stuff. I also don’t shoot as much.
I'm very happy with my 10" Rock River LAR-9. No, it doesn't use Glock magazines, but I don't care because I don't own a Glock and probably never will. It uses Colt SMG magazines which are double-stack, double-feed -- pretty much the gold standard for reliable feeding. It has the AR controls and ergonomics with which I am so familiar. It's a blowback action but the buffer and recoil spring tame it nicely. Basically, all the same features you recommended except for the Glock mags, so I can't really disagree with anything you said. I like that JP, but it doesn't offer enough to persuade me to trade in my Rock River. I bought it so long ago that PCCs were barely even a thing and there weren't many choices, but I've never been disappointed with it.
I shot one last year after a match. My friend has one. It’s pretty rad. I wanted one but couldn’t afford it. I have the extar but I compete with a frankengun built by my friend for about $1200. It doesn’t shoot quite as well as the jp5, but it’s way cheaper. And it still shoots great!
Good call on saving the price until the end of the video. ;)
Mr. Outlaw,
I really like the JP but I think the B&T SPC9 is just as good! So I think it’s a tie.
TPR
CMMG banshee is good too
Appreciate all the work you and the Mrs put in for us Chris. Knowing you don’t have the true backing of UA-cam makes you and all gun tubers so much more impactful to still give us content
First thing I was thinking about as a comp was a scorpion. You read my mind. The gun looks amazing though!
ill just stick to my sw fpc its been great so far
He was not lying about that price tag
I always agree with you........
If you want an even better trigger, try an SD3G from Geissele! Running one in mine now, and I know the reigning PCC national champ is running them too. More of that rolling break but it splits very nicely
That is one nice gun
Wish I could afford a JP. Looks great.
I ended up building my PCC and put a chunk of dough in it but it runs like a sewing machine.
I ordered a barrel with a built in feed ramp similar to a handgun. It feeds any 9mm ammo you can put in it.
Thats cool.
@@thankfullyredeemedmaderigh7436 It was expensive but well worth it.
Great PCC I can never afford to own. So will just have to be satisfied with my Ruger Pc9 and S&W FPC. Spare 23 round factory mags for FPC cost me $50 each.
You could buy a S&W FPC for every family member (family of 5) for the same price. Love my FPC and thinking about the S&W Response if they have the issues resolved with it. I have tons of S&W and Glock mags.
About time somebody mentioned the Smith Folding carbine. I want one in .40 for a little more oomph, but Smith told me they "have no plans at present" to make it in anything other than the current 9. Meh. I want a compact, trunk under- deck hidey folder with higher capacity capabilities in case I have to fight my way out of a menacing horde of dirty bumboy beggars, illegal alien Whitey haters, druggo zombies, Antifa machete chuckers, etc. My only critique of the Smith 9 I tested is the highly annoying/distracting LOUD 'bwang' noise it makes under your cheek & right ear when you shoulder mount it to aim & fire. Need to mute that somehow- it really is that bad.
Damn, I’m happy with my CZ Scorpion 3+. Less than $1000 and all I had to replace was the trigger(Timney because I got it for cheap) and the safety.
You should host 'how to shoot like an outlaw' camps multiple times a year .....
I really like my Faxon PCC.
I love my Banchee, and dissent.
Hey outlaw, checkout ballistics by the inch. According to them, it's around 16" when the ballistics fall off.
Shhhhh. That won't help justify a $3000+ 9mm. LOL
@@boblaws9851 the 16" version is the same price.
Everything except one thing. Cool factor, it’s not an MP5. Looks wise, it’s just another AR. Also I like differences in manual of arms. Makes for different experiences when shooting different guns. Keeps things interesting.
I need one of those
The only Problem with the gun is THE PRICE us poorers can't afford the JP5 when I can get a HK SP5 in a SBR with a Yankee Hill 3 lug suppressor and a Holosun red dot for less than
Whew! My 5.5in Aero EPC9 was all of that except roll delay. Checked off every other box for under $800 😅 Ate everything suppressed and unsuppressed
