@@officecomputer8887right! The value/return on investment is terrible. With the exception of the fpc. Though even it is kinda a niche piece that you'd want to be invested in mags already to really consider it.
I'd take a scorpion or extra over any of em. (Except the mp5 if someone else is buying) 😅

I just bought an upper a few days ago to compete my first PCC
My problem is I'm always looking into buying everything
I just purchased an Extar EP9 mostly because of your reviews on it.
And Mrs Outlaw's positive review sealed the deal for my Mrs. 👍
sooo affordable. looks a bit ugly and thought it would have had tons of reliability issues but ive seen nothing but good reviews on it.
There's no way you can go wrong with the EP9 for the money!
I keep getting impressed on how accurate the gun is, giving that it is 100% plastic. Seems to be made with very little tolerance.
Yeah sad to see no honorable mention. I have the carbine version and will be getting pistol soon. Carbine was so light recoiling the first time I pulled the trigger I thought I had a squib.
PLEASE do a video pairing the best PCC with a pistol that share the SAME MAGS! This current video got me thinking about finding the ultimate pistol to pair with a PCC and I could not find any good content. Besides, the person we want to hear from the most is YOU Chris (because we trust you the most).
Used to be the Beretta CX4 and PX4. Lots of Glock mag rifles. CMMG makes a few that can work with various pistols.
A JP5 with a taran tactical combat master g45.
Time is a circle and we are going back to the wild west. When your revolver and carbine were chambered in the same cartridge. It's good concept for civilization edc where you want the least about of kit possible.
Tons of them use Glock mags, fpc uses shield mags... Those are really the only options I'm aware of for mag compatibility.

Great video. I'll add that the Ruger PCC is the least sexy of the PCCs, but it is probably among the most reliable options. And it doesn't cost too much!

I just wish they weren't so damn heavy.
I've put roughly 2k rounds through mine, never cleaned it, never found an ammo it doesn't like, never had a single malfunction. The fun factor is amazing. Too many times I've looked at the open bolt and said, there's no way that was 17 rounds. I've got a Sig shake awake red dot on it and obsidian can. Hard to beat as a home defense option.
I think that the quasi-bull pup design of the Ruger LC carbine makes it sexy because of the shorter overall length despite the 16” barrel. +P .45 ACP out of a 16” barrel also is pretty cool. 😎

I have the folding stock takedown ruger pc carbine. Love it but my aero precision epc 9mm is probably my favorite gun. Runs flawlessly
Just picked up the S&W FPC last week! Absolutely love it.
I’m jealous. I want one as a vehicle gun, the folding nature and reliability seem perfect for that role.

I bought a brand new Kriss Vector in 45 acp about a year ago. It would not get through a magazine of 230 FMJ without a FTF. Also the recoil was stout considering its bolt travel is supposed to mitigate recoil. worst $1700 ever. Had trouble selling it.
Sportsmans Warehouse has the S&W FPC in green. After seeing you're review of and this video with the S&W FPC I checked out the black one. I like the feel of it. The big difference between the black and the green is the green has 1 17 round mag and 2 23 round mags and a sling pack. Thank you for your hard use review!

Absolutely love the video, im getting into pcc's my first was the aero survival pistol in 10mm and its a tank but I absolutely am in love with it, just got a 9mm psa upper for my ar15 lower and endo mags it runs amazing, love the videos keep up the awesome work.
I love this channel it is so cool I love it when you have a hard time with really bad gun it's so informative and entertaining ass well. I'm not a gun guy but I really appreciate what you do and I have learned a lot about a topic I never even considered being so diverse and involved.

Yours is one of the best and straightforward channels I watch. I like all your points here...unfortunately in Canada, things like the MPX are banned. The FPC is fantastic - mine runs everything. I would think the FX9 deserves an honourable mention. Controls are great, ergos are great and the take down and cleaning is a breeze.
I love the love and fun you and wife have working on the videos together and joking around. It's wonderful to see a young couple working together on these projects. Would be nice if there was a way to bleep out the occasional cursing so my kids can watch too...

I love my SP9A3. After I went balls to walls with it and arguably spent too much on it and essentially turned it into an entirely different gun all together with the A3 CZ lower and mostly ever other mod you can do lol so I love the Stribog...that is entirely different than stock.
I have a Rave 434 trigger in it. Gotta say as far as a drop-in goes. Perfect glass break extremely short reset 👌

I opted for the Banshee 9mm which I added an Aimpoint CompM5 and a Yankee Hill R9 suppressor. It will rock and roll. At my age I just love stuff that works.
$500 for the M&P FPC is a ridiculously good deal. Super reliable, cheap magazines, and a folding gun party trick. And it's not a KelTec.

I wanted a 416 after that show. Settled for a 22LR one and the damn thing was so off with sights I never wanted a full size anymore. The umarex arx 160 was fantastic and quite accurate. Yes a bulky 22. But outta 3 separate ones I had it ran amazing as a pistol and rifle variant. I regret letting them go.

I just purchased an 8" PSA AR-V and threw in a Macon Armory heavy buffer. This thing eats.
MP5 in my area is close to $3,000 regularly. So I went with the ZF5 and honestly love it. Had it special ordered and paid nearly $1,000 less. Best gun in my collection (even more than my Vector and PS90)
I've had the opportunity to own and shoot the Sig MPX, CZ Scorpion, and the the CMMG MK17. Like everybody else would love to shoot the MP7, MP5. The MPX is still my favorite. I always like these videos because it helps people narrow down their choices given a certain price point. Thanks for that Honest Outlaw. I still wish Sig would make an MPX with either a P320 mag, or have a conversion kit.
I don't understand the point of single feed mags in PCC's. They're harder to load, harder to reload, less reliable with extended mags, and either have no bolt hold open or have unreliable BHO. But I guess you can pull the mag out of your sidearm and use it in your PCC.
@@otterconnor942 That would be why. I think a lot of civilians who want a PCC but are looking to save $ and consolidate resources would like this. And since the military adopted the P320, and I guess some LE have also adopted it this would make sense to me. Although clearly a badass PCC, never understood why the military adopted the MP7 for the spec ops community when the MPX is Sig as well. There is something to be said for consolidating resources and functionality, but I can also see why you wouldn't want to put all your eggs in one basket either. Just my thoughts.

Please more pcc content, been a hot minute and lots of great choices with kinda slim margins of difference, would make a great video explains the pros and cons, just got a banshee upper in the mail today, the simple fact I can run my ar lower with that and a .300 blk, with the wide variety of ar triggers pretty cool deal to me, but hey you know a lot more about it than me so yes, more please.
I love my Vector. Managed to talk myself out of using it as a prop for a Chronicom Halloween costume.
For those interested, that have never seen the crazy bolt action present, you can Google "Kriss Vector gif" and see it in motion. An added bonus is, 30 rounds of .45 in a mag is a weapon in itself LOL.

Strike Industries makes a really cool rail/muzzle combo for the Vector that gives you more real estate to grip and attachments. I have it on mine and it’s awesome.

Like a few others, I'm a little surprised B&T didn't make the list. Very practical. My main criteria is something that folds up small, FAST reloads, and suppressor ready. Bonus points for Glock mags simply due to availability, side arm compatibility, and any looming bans in the future. The Kriss is a little too big for my tastes. Something about the MP5 dead man's click scares the crap out of me. Puts you on the back foot and means you'll have to draw your pistol THAT much faster.

NOTE FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING A VECTOR… from someone who bought one only cuz it’s cool.
For how expensive it is, don’t expect the polymer to be Magpul or Glock quality….. don’t expect a great trigger….. don’t expect the best PCC for combat…..but do expect a *ton* of fun.
Definitely was expecting the cz scorpion to make the list, but love the content regardless
I built a 5.5 inch 9mm pcc...grid defense od green upper black psa lower all pins,charging handle,grip(skeletonized),brace are od green,black buffer tube,titanium nitride bcg,rise armament flat 3.5lb single stage trigger,and a sightmark red dot(I know I know I'm going to upgrade to a holosun,don't beat me up on that one) and finally a folding brace adapter...she runs like a dream no issues very reliable

I only have 1 PCC before they became illegal in my state, 20% sale B&T ACP Pro. I'm satisfied!

I have love my Extar EP9. I got it before you even reviewed it. For the cost, it stands alone. I have the gen 1 which looks a bit cleaner then the newer models. For home defense its great and cant go wrong with 32 round mags.
I love my FPC. I'm pretty sure I bought it after your torture test video lol, and at first I was against PCCs with mag wells in the grip, but being able to fold it and toss it stealthily into a backpack sold me (I also CCW with a M&P9 M2.0, magazine sharing is of course a plus). I've installed a couple parts from Tac Com 3g, their "scope mount" for some picatinny before the folding part which helped me a lot with using optics. And their buffer end plug.
After some practice, I got past the weird magazine release in the stock; I use my pinky to activate the release while grabbing the magazine out and now I'm pretty quick at it now.
I just tossed the grip extensions into a box and ignore them XD

I just got my FPC and absolutely love it however I’m trying to figure out how to attach a sling for a right handed person. The folding gets in the way. Have you attached a sling to yours ?

"Military Grade" = the most effective thing we could produce for as cheap as humanly possible...
I don't know why people think "military grade" means it is good. Maybe they also think MREs are top of the line cuisine.
Very surprised he did not have the B&T APC9 Pro on the list since his review of it was so glowing (and I agree). In fact, my wife & I both absolutely LOVE the APC9 Pro. It's like point and click because it's so accurate and such little recoil because of the gas buffer. Plus, my buddy from Defense re-zero'd it and I can now hit a bowling ball from 115 yards out. I just realized: I don't think we've even had a single malfunction with it after probably 5,000 rounds over 2 years with both high and low quality ammo put through it -- AND we've never cleaned it! The only thing I wish I had for it is metal mags. Please let me know if they make those 🙏

How about for less than $500, you can get the Extar EP9, yeah it's a fully plastic gun, but I keep getting impressed on how accurate the gun is, and how much gun you get for the money.

Great list honorable mention Beretta CX4 storm is a great PCC it's old and dated. That being said it runs and uses Beretta 92 or PX4 mags I have both models.

The MKE 30 round MP5 magazines are excellent. Chrome folllowers, just as nice and reliable as the German H&K mags. I’ve seen them for as low as $35 each to my door
Discovered the Vector through a weird web based shooter game that I’ve never been able to find again. A space age game, and since then I’ve been obsessed with it in games.
More PCC lists please. Please consider updating the Scorpion. Please also consider the Extar.
