If you've checked your vitamin D level, what was your level (in ng/mL's) and what part of the country/world do you live? Please share!

This channel is so under subscribed. In the world of media hype and half-assed self proclaimed experts, authentic unbiased information from a qualified MD is what we need. Thank you so much, hope you get to 100k soon.

Thank you so much for this. This is likely the very best comment across my entire channel…Ever. Because it is truly what i strive for, to provide evidence based information that I’d want my own patients (and family/friends) to know. You made my day, because the effort and time that i place in building this channel is much greater than any return and it’s comments like this that truly keep me going. Thank you 🙏

It's truly significant information but I am afraid that why there's are massive difference of opinion among doctors that few say 2000 IU vit d is ok while other group say 4000 iu is ok and does not cause toxicity .such kind of contradictory statements create big confusion...

Take 5.000 iu twice daily make sure it's in Olive Oil, (not soy) along with K2, Zinc. Blood test nowhere near toxicity at 3 months. At 5 months, was taken off COPD meds, equipment. Increased aerobic duration & frequency.

How to convince doctors to give Vit D3 to husband who is in the hospital more than 5 months? He’s on CPAP/feeding tube and still can’t eat thru his mouth. Also, would an UV lamp help him get the benefits of the sun there in the hospital?

I don't get much sun at all. I live in the northern part of the United States, but even compared to the other people around here, it's common for friends and family to take one look at me and say that I need to get outside more. So when I recently went for an annual physical with my new doctor (my previous doctor retired last year), he noticed my pale skin and automatically included a vitamin D test in the blood-work that he ordered. The good news is that it came back at 46 ng/mL, so I have no vitamin D problems at the moment.

So if you have hyperparathyroidism, are you saying vit D3 is good because it will suppress the overactive parathyroid ?

A diagnosis of vitamin D sure does warrant vitamin D level screening, and we typically strive for over level of 30 in people with osteoporosis. Thank you for sharing your story, as always Stacy 🌹.

Sorry, you need to double check your D3 and calcium information. D3 is really a hormone. K-2 M-7 is needed to take the calcium the D3 produces put it in the bones.

My D3 is 126 ng per ml. The problem with that test is you can’t tell if is the active or inactive forms of D3. I have been taking 30,000 iu per day for 6 months now along with 400 mg K-2 M-7. I feel great. I also take zinc and magnesium.
Sore joints and back pain is almost gone.
