Dray and the D stands for the vitamin this week a tremendous educator and has a wonderful way in going about it. A person who goes through the cost and stress of educating themselves to acquire credentials for occupational use then turns around and gives so many the education for free is such a beautiful thing to see. God bless you! 🌸
So well said. She's one of the only docs not pushing his/her own product.
This video is so useful! 2 years ago I had hair loss from being iron deficient, after taking supplements things improved tremendously. This year, I suddenly had hair loss again and learned that I lack in vitamin D and am not anymore iron deficient. Regular blood work is truly important, your body changes regularly.
How about ur hair is it still falling pls reply i Also have same problem im getting bold
I’ve been watching your channel a lot, buying spf, buying upf clothing. My husband watches with me sometimes and sees me buying sun protection stuff and he wanted to look at upf clothing when we were in the store the other day. It’s working!! Thanks Dr Dray!

Yes !!! Thank you for mentioning all the other reasons for hair loss. I was experiencing massive hair loss a year ago and when my doctor ran some test it was based on hyperthyroidism. Since I have started controlling it. The loss of hair has decreased! Your videos are always filled with so much information and tips that help me become more wiser in what is the best for my sensitive rosacea skin. Now my skincare is simple and I know what to avoid.
Big thank you Dr Dray!
Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to see this! I've been struggling with hair loss. :(
I didn't realize being deficient in vitamin D could affect the hair. Thaks , Dr Dray. I'm always learning from you. Happy Wednesday! Hope you have a cozy evening. 💖
I've been through a very stressful time since the pandemic started (loss of loved ones, loss of relationships, work burnout, sickness and a car accident), and my hair has thinned so much... I think I now probably have less than half of what I used to have. I am taking some supplements, but will also go and see a dermatologist since I have lots of issues to take care of. Thank you Dr. Dray for all the useful information!
I just want to thank you so much for your incredibly informative videos, and focus on improving our bodies from within. This was especially great because I have a Vitamin D deficiency and am having greying and hair loss at 24
“What you need is a diagnosis.” Excellent comment! Too many times supplements are thrown at an issue without knowing what they need.
Just before I found out I had Covid I also discovered I had severe anemia. It was a perfect storm. I started losing my hair in handfuls. Luckily, I always had super thick hair, so it just thinned to “normal” hair levels. But now 8 months later, the whole top of my head is covered in short new growth. I’m so relieved. I thought it was thinning because I was getting older, but it’s coming back and now I know the cause. My vitamin D levels are where they should be and my iron has maintained a good, healthy level. Whew!
I had the same experience I had covid and found out I was extremely anemic at the same time, I thought the ongoing tiredness was a long covid symptom. My hair was falling out and thinning terribly. I've been taking prescribed iron supplements, B9 and B12. It growing back after 2 months.
As a person with a former career in health insurance (yuck, I know), often health insurance will not cover testing for vitamin D when lab work is done. The insurance company will want to see that there is a medical reason that the doctor is asking for testing for vitamin D. People need to be prepared to pay out-of-pocket for that blood work, or be prepared for fighting the insurance claim, once it has been processed. Of course, it might depends on what kind of insurance coverage you have. Even if your health insurance states, for example, that ALL lab work done in the office is covered under your plan, the insurance company still determines what part of the labs are covered. And even if your doctor requested the test. It's ridiculous.
That’s strange, d is important to get checked. D is covered by my insurance, but for some reason they always give me issues about getting b12 levels checked. I have to remind my doctor that I’m vegan and need it checked and supposedly that is enough for the insurance company to cover it. Both should be covered though.
I do wish getting dha levels checked was covered, but it’s not. I don’t think they even offer the test in a traditional doctors office in the US.
After I survived Covid my hair fell out so bad for about 2 months. Thankfully it finally stopped and now back to a normal daily loss. Great information as always. Please till your mom how much I miss seeing her on your channel. Hope she is doing well and have her in my prayers always.
I lost about 30%-40% of my hair over several months after a bout of severe and debilitating flu in early 2019. Worst flu I ever had in my life. My hair has grown back to more or less its normal thickness in the past couple of years though, thankfully. It does seem to be a normal reaction to the body going through a severe illness.
If you had a high fever, that is probably the cause of the hair loss! The same happened to me when I had meningitis.
Mine fell out for 7 months. I thought I'd be bald before I turn 25. F*** covid
Function of beauty is magical.
I'd love to see you do a video, or collary video to this one, about insufficient calorific intake (particularly chronic insufficient calorific intake due to anaorexia and/or blumia) and hairloss! It's a topic I can honestly say i've NEVER heard anyone on youtube discuss...
My husband just grabbed my CeraVe light spf lotion and took it to work with him because of you lol!! ❤️ He listens to me watch your vids daily and realized he should probably be wearing something while he works outside. Obviously a higher spf would be better, but this is a huge step!! THANK YOU! 🙌🏼
i know it's pretty off topic but does anybody know of a good place to watch newly released movies online?
@Kameron Ronald Thanks, I went there and it seems to work =) Appreciate it !
My Gawd you are well spoken and educated, a real pleasure to listen too Dr.
Honestly loss is directly connected to stress. I lose a bunch when I'm stressed. Happy Wednesday dr dray ! ❤️
You're probably stressed because of low vitamin d levels. If you haven't, get it checked out. Low vitamin d levels put us on a path of anxiety/stress.
I miss seeing you mom so much! I was watching an older video of yours. seeing her be so enthusiastic and really being a part of your channel made me feel so happy. Please tell her a lot of us miss her and wish her well!
I wanted to ask her the same thing...How is your mom?!?? Hope she is well. Again, love your channel and looking radiant.
Inside out! Eating healthy (NO crappy oils, good healthy oils like Olive or Avocado)increasing omega 3’s Has made a huge difference!
Oh sorry... yes! I use cooking oil LOL Olive and Avocado mostly, sometimes grass fed Ghee
Wish I would have found you years ago when you started. My mom suffers from severe hair loss and now wears a wig or hat. She is starting to see some growth now, though. I am going to forward this video to her. Speaking of Moms, how is your mom? I hope she is well. Love your channel. The best!!!
Great video as always! Thanks dr Dray! Keep up the daily uploads!
Happy Wednesday! I went through Adrenal Insufficiency, Hypothyroidism, multiple surgeries, and extremely low Iron, Vitamin D and B and was shedding like crazy. I was scared. Since that time I've gotten my adrenal glands working again, I'm on 50000 iu Vitamin D weekly, Biotin, and overall better health and the shedding has stopped. Thank goodness. I have lots of new hair growth and it's really thickened up again. Great video!
I have adrenal fatigue as well. I think its gotten better but I have started taking vit D and then learned most of it doesnt even absorb into your system so my vit d is still the same. What vit D supplement do you take? I quit taking biotin as it is now known to effect tests showing heart attacks or other heart issues. And most drs wont advise taking this anymore be it conventional drs or naturopathy drs. Im glad it all worked for you. Adrenal fatigue is brutal and anemia. I am anemic as well.
@@michelletidler6773 I take a prescription vitamin D. It's 50000 iu's weekly. I believe she has me on it for one year. The Biotin really stopped my hair from falling out but I intend to wean off of it now that my hair is no longer falling out in massive clumps. I have heard it's not great for you but you could see my scalp and I ordered Hair, skin, and Nail supplements and it just so happened that when I got it it's predominantly Biotin. After about 4 months I really noticed a difference and now at a year I feel like I have all my hair back, you cannot see my scalp, and most importantly, when I wash it, clumps of hair aren't falling out. I hope your adrenal glands get better. That was the worst 7 years of my life besides my car accident.
@@latherandlace Im so glad that you are doing so much better now and that your hair has come back. That can be devastating for women. I was taking hair, skin and nails as well until I was advised to stop with any lg amounts of biotin. I was so sad because my hair was coming out in clumps and has been for a few years now especially the last 2 due x. I believe stress has been the cause of my health and hair issues and I really hope I will find something soon that helps. Although I think I am a little better than I was its still really bad. Thank you for sharing your story and info with me. I dont feel so alone now.
@@michelletidler6773 make sure you're taking vitamin d3, the others your body has to convert and it's less efficient
OMG - Function of beauty - who knew!!!!!!!!! Thanks Dr. Dray!
since I've followed your advice of washing the hair/scalp as often as I can tolerate, my hair is shedding much less! I feel like I'm on my way to getting my thickness back ❤️ I was misguided into believing I should aim for as little hair washing as once or twice a week, but my scalp was so itchy and grimy feeling, and I kept scratching my scalp! I'm doing scalp massage with a silicone scrubber and using vanicream hair products. I'll definitely seek the help of a professional if I notice it happening again, thank you for encouraging us to take it seriously.
I love my Function of Beauty Shampoo, Conditioner, and Hair Serum. I've been using my products for 6 months and am very happy with them. Thank you for recommending this brand!
This was incredibly insightful. Thank you ❤️
happy Wednesday everyone xo!
Thank you Dr. Dray for this video.
You literally read my mind ,... thank you
There is no way to afford Function of Beauty for many of us. 😕
They sell some Function of Beauty products at Target now in the US! Those are a little more affordable :)
I got my function of beauty shampoo and conditioner along with the additives online through Target 🎯 for under $30 dollars much cheaper than thru their web site
This one I’m looking forward to!
Yes!! I always make sure to take in sufficient vitamins for my hair growth especially during the cold months since my hair grows slower during the winter. ❄️❤️
There are so many triggers. So many.
Red light therapy 5x a week, derma rolling once a week and Rogaine x per week TOGETHER seemed to help the best.
But when I stopped for a few weeks, my hair fell our again very dramatically. I went on vacation and the tile in the bathroom was white. I could see all my dark hair all over the white tile. I was scooping it up daily. Very distressing, but I've gone through numerous cycles like this. Now, I've learned to just accept it and realize that if it gets really bad, I can always buy a wig.
It does suck though.
In our society, being bald is about the worst thing you can be. Nothing is deemed less attractive than this. I hate that my hair is out of my control.
Still, it does not prevent me from living my life. I've dated and shown my dates my extensions and fake pony tails. I've gotten comfortable with it and take it off wheneverI can. My ex partner said he missed seeing it by the bed. Lol
Hi Dr. Dray, so glad to see a doctor that
Washes her hair everyday!!! I’ve always
Washed mine everyday & mine is 1/2

Usually, people say to wash your hair
3 days to a week 😩. I never did understand that. Thank u for your
Informative video. Jana - Texas
Doc, your hair looks shiny and healthy 👍
Thank you for the cheat sheet with time stamps!!!!
Happy Wednesday!
2020 was too hard on my stress and I started shedding more than normal,my skin also started looking way more dull and dry. Went to the dermatologist, he prescribed me a mild cleanser and moisturizer, also supplements, mainly Vitamin D. I'm doing better than before.
He had to prescribe a cleanser? Lol Why don't you take care of your skin without needing a dermatologist to prescribe you something? Because you have good genes I get it. Rub it in my face. Lol
@@chrisking6695 Are you okay man? I always cleansed my face and used good moisturizer. But, dermatologists know better so he gave me a better cleanser. Dr. Dray suggests us good cleansers in almost every video too. Relax
Chris, “prescribed” doesn’t always imply a pharmaceutical prescription - it could just be suggestions for specific ingredients in OTC products.
I like the garden analogy!
Could you talk a little about multivitamins? What's important? What's to be avoided?
Happy Wednesday Dr. Dray! Your timing is spot on as I am currently dealing with a scalp issue. I have an appointment with my dermatologist and I’ll be better informed for our discussion. I’m definitely interested in the this product. There’s just too much junk on the market for hair right now. I’d rather curate something designed for me. Have a great day everyone!❤️
Love all your helpful videos, thank you. I’m not a fashionista but that pink is really lovely on you.
Just ordered my shampoo from Function of Beauty:) super excited to try it
I was super vitamin d deficient prior to covid , I can only imagine how low it is now. This was a wake up call to start taking my vitamin d supplement that’s sitting in my medicine cabinet untouched 😳
This is so interesting, because I started losing a LOT of hair months ago. Never addressed it with my doctor, but I did have lab work at a visit, and she identified that I was deficient in vitamin D. She had me start a supplement. I have noticed recently that I’m losing much less hair and I also appear to be regrowing some of it back. I am thrilled. I had not connected that these things might be related until this video, but it makes perfect sense.
@@clau6972 I did! Once I got a handle on the deficiency, my hair filled back in to what it was prior to losing it. Such a simple solution, but we’d never know without that blood test.
@@Rose-xo8mx It was a few months. I want to say 3-4…? She had me take the Rx megadose pills at first, and from what I understand, after those initially get you to a good level, a normal OTC supplement will help you maintain it. I have been fine ever since! Hair is looking nice and full.
This makes so much sense! A lot of the nurses in my hospital had massive hair loss during the pandemic- mostly the ones working the COVID-designated units.
Early on in the pandemic, I “invested”(a lot!) in the iRestore laser hat. Used it religiously during the entire year of quarantine. Had high hopes but have seen no real improvement. In fact a year in, my hair really began to shed. My doctor came up w nothing. I missed the return date during the vax hysteria. SO disappointed. $1500 is not peanuts for something that didn’t work for me..:(
My hairs been shedding like crazy after I got covid 😭😢 I really appreciate the hair video info lately! 💖
I did get the oil, shampoo & conditioner and I love how it works for my fine, on the thin side hair! I was just born with this slinky hair and this product makes a difference. As a bonus you can get it unscented which was what appealed to me in the first place but I’m hooked.
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last October. I was put on lots of medicine, including prednisone, Mesalamine and Humira. I was not absorbing very much nutrition because of the disease. I had anemia (had 2 rounds of iron infusion) and low vitamin D (just picked up my Vit D 50,000 IU today). I had so much thick hair before getting sick, now I’ve got way less, but the hair loss is not noticeable to most because I started off with tons of hair. In the past month, my hair is no longer falling out! So I’m hoping I’m getting better nutrient absorption!
Thank you for this timely video!
I hope you notice. I was diagnosed having GERD three years ago, and after that I started having hairloss. 😩I feel you...
Thank you for the information.... your long hair is beautiful ❤️
Function of beauty is fantastic
Thanks for very informative contents Dr. Dray 👌👌👌
Thank you so much for this information.
Great job.
Yes, My vitamin D was very low. I've been supplementing off and on for a few years, but in January, I started supplementing regularly. I haven't noticed that much of a decrease in shedding, but I have noticed a small amount of regrowth in the front of my hairline.
Vit D is good for so many things in your body that it should be on everyone's daily routine.
65 yo RN here. Past year taking 50,000 IU Vit D for worsening osteoporosis and low D serumlevel. On Fosamax and Vit D and guess what: Osteo markedly improved and hair noticeably fuller/healthier. ❤️
Love Dr. Dray💖
I have struggled with Low vitamin D since giving birth to my first child and I experienced hair loss when I first got pregnant with her, and this time around when I got pregnant with my other daughter that was also my first sign!
Thank you Dr Dray for addressing this possible cause of hair loss
I appreciate that dr. Dray feels that we should get a diagnosis...but in 50 years of struggling w hair loss...i have yet to find a derm that looked anything but perplexed if you asked for a diagnosis re hair loss.
@@tracyharris7 wow...Tracy...that is such a helpful comment! Thank you for taking the time. My own ferritin is waaay below 50.

God is still doing wonders I thought I will never get cured again after 17days of using DR RORPOPOR HERBAL medicine on UA-cam I was so excited to hear from my doctor that my PCOS is cured completely........💓✅
I was diagnosed with CCCA back in 2015. It’s been horrible to deal with. I did have low vitamin D levels which did not help. As a female, hair loss is devastating. 🥲
I've was diagnosed w/CCCA in 2001 after 2 yrs of misdiagnoses. That same yr
I was diagnosed w/Pernicious Anemia following a GI surgical procedure. It was devastating because I was told the conditions were unrelated & both were incurable. I hope women listen to you & follow your good advice. Female hair loss is still stigmatized, if I had $5 for every time someone has offered unsolicited Prayers 🙏🏽

@@chrisking6695 Don't think I haven't explored every Avenue🙄. If I had 1/2 of the $$ I've spent on Treatments. Hair transplantation is suitable for people with permanent baldness, the type that runs in families. It's not usually suitable for people with other types of hair loss, such as the type that causes bald patches (Alopecia Areata).
@@michelebradley7813 I'm not familiar with that condition but if you can get roots planted on your head maybe they'll grow. Maybe not due to your condition. But anyways just go bald and rock it. Some women look really sexy with short or no hair. Google bald women sexy. Check it out.

I’ve definitely noticed this correlation. I had a blood panel that showed a deficiency in vitamins B and D and recently started taking supplements. I’m hoping I’ll notice a change in my hair and energy soon.
Same! I was so fatigued and didn't realize that was the issue until I got a blood panel.
Hi can you please tell me what’s a blood panel or how do I ask for it please ?
Jacqueline Rosas this was a few years ago, so I’m not exactly sure what it called. I just asked my doctor if he could test me for vitamin deficiencies.
i needed this video!! the past few times i washed my hair i noticed alotttt coming out and i usually dont lost much at all! i have alot of hair but fine hair. last week i tied my hair up as usual for gym and noticed i could see my scalp at the sides. its heartbreaking. my hair is everything to me i love it. i have been feeling stressed and anxious since i lost my job and since moving home the past 7 months my diet isnt as wholefoods as it usually is :( i think its a combination of this. im vegan for 7 years so i try eat abundant wholefoods usually. now taking collagen, multivitamin, omega 3, and b12 , hoping the hair comes back , it looks so bad
Check you ferritin (stored iron) and zinc levels. Both those can cause hair loss too
I like to shampoo my hair every day as well. However, I have to do it more than once a day because I do ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. That being said, this is an interesting video and I am glad that I am taking vitamin D supplements. ☺️👍🏼
Oh, gosh, with working out hard first thing in the morning, then giving riding lessons for several hours in the dust, THEN training/riding two to four horses a day (45 mins - one hour each), with a helmet and safety vest on, I HAD to shower and wash hair twice daily! That was my routine for 20 years!
I found out my vitamin D was low. When I started supplementing my hair started growing so much faster! It also grows fast in the summer.
Having curly coarse hair washing it everyday would literally kill my hair. I used to wash it every other day and my hair was so dry and damaged from that. My hair has never been better now that I wash it every 4 to 5 days.
Hey Dr. Dray! Can you talk a little about seborrhoeic dermatitis on the scalp and how this causes hair loss? I’ve currently come off accutane and had a huge flare up that’s caused me to lose a ton of hair. Thank you ❤️
Hi Dr. Dray, could you please do a video on birth control and hair loss
What a helpful video!!! Thank you! I didn't realize low vit D was related to hair loss until recently. I noticed my hair thinning 3 months ago after I found out I had low vit D. I didn't even know it could be associated My doc had me take a large dose once a week for 3 months. Hoping to see some changes since I just finished the supplements. Been trying to take extra precaution and do extra things to promote hair loss. I've been really down about it since I normally have thick curly hair! But low vit D makes sense since I have been working from home and wasn't going outside much. I'm also anemic. Once I get more hair growth I'll get a pixie to help grow it out evenly. Great info thanks again!
Did you had your newly grown hair falling out? Like small hair or a bit longer hair, which had tapered ends? Like needle?
I was facing Hairfall where such hair fell out and my blood report showed vit d deficiency.
How about your hair now.holw long u had to use supplimnet to see to decrease in hair fall
@@Rose-xo8mx I had the supplements for about 4 months from my dr for the vit D and then continued to take a multivitamin. My hair grew back and filled in. That’s because the loss was from the lack of vit D. It’s good to get blood work and get checked out to make sure that’s the cause that way you can get to the root of the problem. I’m sorry you’re experiencing hair loss. It took about 3 mos after the supplements to start getting the baby hairs growing again.
Happy Wednesday dr Dray and everyone 😀 another wonderful video thanks enjoy your day 😊 love to mom and Tybee 😍🥰🌺
My doctor checked my blood for my vitamin D level many years ago. My result was at 14, extremely low. He put me on prescription vitamin D for about 3 months, I believe it was 25,000 I.U.'s. It would be dangerous to take a high dose unless you had low vitamin D. My next blood test came back normal. In order to stay in normal range I take 10,000 I.U. a day. I don't know why my body has trouble getting it from my food. I eat pretty healthy including eggs etc. a good source of it.
I don’t know if it’s related to my hair growing back but I’ve been using the Hairmax for over a year now. Also use Kerastase Initaliste which I’m sure does nothing. Lol Nonetheless my hair has gotten much thicker and I have way more regrowth than prior to using.
I quit using function of beauty and prose. I am now using amika the kure because the PH is much lower, and I am enjoying it. I do wish these customizable hair product companies would take PH into consideration. I checked the PH of my Prose products and they were too alkaline!
soooooo could grad school be affecting my hair growth or maybe a global pandemic and 2020 in general? 😅
I went through a accelerated occupational therapy program. I acquired telegene . 2 years later and I’m still having issues. Yes, school can affect it
I was having hair loss issues a few years ago, was taking evening primrose with vitamin d for hormonal issues at the time and realized that my hair stopped dropping and grew thicker. At first I thought it was the evening primrose but later realized that it was actually the vitamin d when I took it separately.
I am beginning to think the antacids was affecting my body’s ability to absorb nutrients. Doing posture workouts improved my slump over and I’m off the heart burn meds. And now vitamin D doesn’t seem to be an issue for me.
I have been losing my hair for years - so thin now. All blood/hormonal tests came back normal every year. I took many high grade supplements, the last one was Pillfood (popular in Europe 3 pills a day). Made me so ill but took months to detect that was the cause. extreme muscle pains, groin pain, severe insomnia - several visits to A&E. Was told at hospital by consultant that supplements can cause extreme inflammation in body so stopped all vitamins and tries to eat healthily.I have in the last three months eaten an avocado with a bit of apple cider vinegar every day and my hairloss seems to have stopped completely as well as muscle pains and insomnia.
Alopecia Areata this year. Always had thick, long hair. Suddenly I had a big shiny bald patch on my crown. V distressing.
Had been taking all the supplements anyway and minoxidil. Ended up getting PRP (3 treatments). Thank God, the hair grew back to the point that I’m now able to wear my hair down again and no one can tell. Took 4-5 months for it to grow to the point I could wear it loose.
I found the injections v v painful (even with numbing cream. It’s not easy to get numbing cream in the areas with some hair growth) but so worth it for the results.
I’ve discovered there’s a similar process that also uses your stem cells. It’s more expensive but you only need one treatment and it lasts a few years.
Sorry if you mentioned it already but what would be your advice for curly hair? Washing my hair every day is tricky x
Happy Wednesday Dr dray. Products containing redensyl and procapil are sold in the name of hair regrowth, would really appreciate your opinion on that as well 😀
I’ve been taking vitamin D3 for nearly three years since my gallbladder surgery and my hair is definitely thicker and healthier. Also I’m on HRT which is making me feel a new woman. Thank you for confirming on this video I’m doing the right thing. 🙏❤️❤️

One of the side effects of having Covid is hair loss for some people. I had Covid in January and my hair has been falling out in clumps. It's horrible :(
Having a high fever can cause this--I lost hair when I had meningitis many years ago! Fever of 104-105 for a week!
Same here. I had COVID first week of February. And a hip replacement last November. But I noticed the hair loss about three months ago. My primary doctor increased my Vitamin D-3. All the best to you! 😇
Right there with ya. I just made this connection. Had Covid at the end of April/beginning of May 2021 and this past June/July have seen the most terrible hair loss but will head to a dermatologist to see if there is anything other than an illness to cause the shedding. I've had my vit d levels check and there is certainly room for improvement :-P
I’m going through this with rock bottom D and very low iron. It’s scary. I’m happy I insisted on labs. Thanks Dr. D❤
Great video Dr. D! Do you have any thoughts on tea rinses for hair loss? Thank you!!
I lost a third of my hair to a combination of vitamin D deficiency and anemia. (I had a lot of hair so it wasn’t awful but it was upsetting!). Even the texture changed. - from a 2 B-C to a 1A.
Now I take vitamin D and iron daily. (I also use spironolactone because menopause yay).
May I ask how much vitamin D you take? It is D3? Also, the iron, is it the slow FE iron pills? Experiencing massive clumps of hair loss. Nails are long and thick. Skin is good. So why the massive hair loss. I might start washing hair every other day to keep follicles clean. I’ve been in menopause for 8 years now and it maybe started then along with no meat eating. Hard to know. I cry every time I wash my hair. Deeply saddened and confused about my hair.
hw did you found out that you are lack of Vitamin D? isnt told by your Doctor?
I've dealt with thinning hair for over a decade. I finally bought a $3,000 wig. I had it on layaway for a year. It's been horrible to live with..
When my husband, my mom and my best frend all died in the same time period, I lost 3/4 my hair. It started falling out in clumps plus breaking everywhere. Always had had tons of hair and no issues before his death. Having been with him since we were kids, widowed in my 40s, having 5 kids, stress and mental state was out of control. I was a zombie barely able to function, but caring for a dying parent with 5 grieving kids. I was also recovering from a miscarriage and was the one who found my husband's body, with C-PTSD diagnosis. My doctors think just stress/grief. Now taking vitamin D, biotin, other supplements, using Nioxin, Monodil, Olaplex....finally starting to slowly come back.
My deepest condolences to you..... may you find solace and respite...glad to hear that your hair growth has improved.
I am so sorry for your loss and that you have had to endure such heartbreak. And I hope your hair grows back in. I lost my hair from cancer and I take biotin every day, vit D, collagen, and I want to try the irestore helmet if I can afford it.
So sorry for your losses. Sending ❤️
