Dr jeol Gould absolutely brilliant information. I know most of his information to be true but all in one video WOW . Please bring him back and kindly do not interrupt. Please . Thank you for bringing him here

I really love the way Tom continuously interrupts his guest with his inanr questions. Gee, it's great listening! I'd forgotten why I stopped listening before. I now remember.
I actually had to pause to take breaks because it was so painful to listen to the interruptions and feel Dr. Gould’s flow be abruptly stopped. Tom, we all are here because of your knowledge and gifts and your desire to connect us to truths. We are all aware of how smart YOU are. But maybe not fully aware and clearly we do not know enough about your personal struggle, especially that with the health of your wife. For those of us that are loyal pupils and truly appreciate YOU, will you consider doing a video of just you, perhaps another of you and your wife, where you highlight things you have learned or overcame, maybe talk about the people who’ve been the greatest influence on you? I realize that is probably a lot to fit in one video, so maybe just even like once a month do a 10 minute monologue? I’ve been in your virtual classroom for years now and I haven’t seen all of your videos, but perhaps for some of us late comers or even your loyalists, we do need an opportunity to learn more about you and your life and family sometime. You’re sharing comes from a need to be heard yourself and you have such a tremendous base of people who look to you, even resort to you for answers and we would absolutely love to hear more of just your and your family’s story sometime.
This episode is just amazing. You need to bring him back. I have just one suggestion: you seem to be very passionate about the topic so you keep adding to the conversation to an extent that you are speaking as much as him (sometimes more) and at times even diverting his train of thought. Please don’t take it the wrong way.
This is why i watch enough to ascertain the guests concepts,a nd move along. Kudos for building a following and getting good guests, but Tom talks way too much on topics he's learning from his guests.
That is what he does in practically every one of his videos, it might be the fact that he likes to think of himself as a BRO TYPE so he obviously always has to speak more than the experts. Probably some sorta of subconscious dominance scenarios
Usually I would agree with you, but in this interview I was very happy for Tom interrupting and challenging him to clarify what he was saying! He was being a bit cryptic but when Tom pushed him to explain properly the info was mind-blowing.
Love you so much Tom. Today was feeling like you were intersecting a bit much and it cut off the doc and his train of thought Maybe you were just trying to keep things on track. But he never seemed to get out his full thoughts. Just an observation.
Dr Joel is a true gentleman. He immediately stop talking when Tom interrupts, he is answering the questions while following his red thread, this gentleman is informed, handsome and interesting. Whats not to love ? The info of D3 and K2 need to hit all people on the planet. Share and like-ish :*
I have enjoyed your interviews in the past but I agree with so many of the people commenting here: Why invite a guest on your show if you're not going to let him finish a thought?
Thanks for introducing Dr Gould to me Tom 🙏🏽 It'd be even better if you would allow your guests to speak more and maybe leave your input and questions til later in future interviews 👍🏽
The poor guy can't get in a word... Tom, we know you have tons of info about random topics, you don't need to let that be known during his explanations of what he is talking about. I really wanted to hear certain things he had to say, but your constant "knowledge chest puffing" wouldn't allow it. We get it. Your smart bro.
Excellent topic, but he should be brought back to be interviewed again with ZERO interruptions so he can expand on the ideas/subjects he was invited to talk about ... Dr. Stasha Gominak was one of the first doctors I heard talking about the importance of Vitamin-D for sleep (about 7 years ago), and also about gut bacteria replacement and how they interact, but, Dr. Gould's point of view is really interesting as well. Such a shame he couldn't even finish a sentence without being interrupted :( . I mostly enjoy Tom's interviews, but this one ended up being just annoying. Sorry.
I deeply appreciate you having Dr. Gould on in order to share this information! This interview contained an extraordinary amount of helpful information. I could go on and on with the health issues, other than what I previously addressed, but I won't. I will be making considerable changes in my life based on this information. I would like to address what many others have addressed below. I have noticed in all of your conversations with guests that you interrupt them when they're speaking. It's obvious you don't do it intentionally. I used to interrupt people constantly. When I became aware of what I was doing and why I was doing it I was able to stop. My ex-husband constantly degraded me and tried to make me feel like what I was saying was not important. Anytime I tried to tell him something he would tell me I was taking too long and completely dismissed whatever I was saying. We all have different reasons for doing it. I taught myself a decent way of fixing the issue I had in cutting people off. Whenever I thought of something I wanted to say or ask the person speaking I would repeat a key word over and over in my head while they finished speaking that way I would still remember what I was going to say. That allowed me to give them the respect they deserved while they were speaking and allowed me the self-respect of being more considerate while still addressing my need to be heard as well. I wanted to address this issue for anyone who has difficulty with interrupting or being interrupted because I feel we should all learn from each other! I thoroughly enjoy listening to you and your guests and deeply appreciate all you do! Blessings of love and light to all!🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💙🙏🏼🧡🙏🏼💛💚🙏🏼
I can attest to the power of vitamin D. For almost 10 years I suffered from extreme exhaustion, terrible aches in my muscles and joints, brain fog, and insomnia. It got to the point where I just slept all day. But I didn't sleep well -- I tossed and turned and was always achy and in pain. My doctor ran a few tests on my thyroid, and on this that and the other, and then told me everything was fine. We went through this pattern for a few years. I switched doctors but it was all just the same -- run a few tests, and determine everything was okay. This went on for years. I felt like I was dying of some bizarre autoimmune disease -- my body was just falling apart. I had weird rashes, I was sweaty all the time, I had symptoms of IBS, and my hair was falling out. I was getting weaker and weaker and more and more tired. After repeatedly bringing up all these issues to my doctor and having my doctor just run the same few tests and then tell me everything was fine, one day I told her that I was really really concerned that there was something very wrong and she had to do other tests because there was definitely something very wrong. She opened the top drawer of her desk and handed me a card and referred me to a psychiatrist. She decided I probably had bipolar disorder or severe depression. Since I was already under treatment with a very competent therapist and psychiatrist for ADHD and anxiety, I found my doctor's suggestion that I was severely mentally ill very irritating and upsetting. I did a lot of research and found a new very qualified doctor. When I described my symptoms to her, the very first thing that came to her mind was a vitamin D deficiency. I tested positive for vitamin D deficiency, and was given a mega dose. The very next day after my first mega dose, BLAM, I was a new person -- I was myself again. It's frustrating to realize that I suffered for years for nothing just because most doctors don't take vitamin deficiencies seriously!
Brilliant... Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D deficiencies can cause serious health issues.. Doctors must first check these 2 vitamin levels in patients body.. Thanks for your sharing..
I relate to your story so much! It's infuriating that doctors so often jump to the conclusion that we are lying or have psychological issues when we complain about things they can't "figure out". They should know that noone knows our bodies better than we know ourselves. I think doctors are slowly evolving to be more open minded but unfortunately it's still few and far between.
Thank you for sharing your story. It's very relatable to my history. Long story short: leaky gut so not absorbing supplements or nutrients from my proper diet; tested low Vit D and zinc. After a year of healing the gut, I'm feeling great again. Vit D was 46 and now 85.9; zinc was 42 and now 103. Very short summary -- there's a lot involved in healing the gut.
He's trying to make his audience believe he's intelligent. You probably remember that kid in school who raised their hand all the time in a similar fashion. His producer should do him and his audience a favor and give him peanut butter and crackers minutes before each guest comes on.
@Rob Phenibut is known to act as a GABA agonist, providing an anxiolytic calming effect and this was one of the features why it was provided to cosmonauts. I would not attribute any paradoxical effects you experienced to what we see here though.
I was glad of the interruptions. There was so much wonderful information powering out of Dr J , so many words that needed clarifying. Tom helped me to take a breath to absorb and understand. Thank you both and I really hope that you both do this again, phew, need to lie down.
Tom needs Sadhguru to humble him down again! The issue people are having isn’t the questions Tom is asking the doctor. It’s him not allowing the doctor to finish his statements after the questions are being asked. Great interview with awesome information. Just in the near future Tom, be more courteous in allowing the people you interview to finish their statements. 👍🏽💪🏽
Yes totally agree, it became exhausting after a while, even though I appreciated the clarifications & they were very helpful. Tom, take a hint from your friend Rich Roll, his interview demeanor is as relaxing as informative 🙏
I'm 11 minutes in and the Doctor's statement about teeth being pulled and replaced with dentures explained a 40 year confusion for me. My mom's teeth had been removed and she had dentures for as long as I can remember. Thank you Doctor for helping me better understand the most likely reason for my mom's condition. Blessings of love and light to all!🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💙🙏🏼🧡🙏🏼💛🙏🏼💚🙏🏼
I had a Philipino girlfriend, born in 1967 that had dentures because she had her healthy teeth removed and dentures put in place because of "fashion". Apparently it was done by all of them in those years...
Dr. Gould has fantastic concentration! He was able to carry on with the information after explaining all of the questions. Impressive! I would love to see him talk again.
Me too. I admired him for being able to stop, give the right explanation and then move on. He is a smart dude to be able to keep up with Tom's inquisitive mind :) i did appreciate Tom's questions though as well.
Holy smoke! I'm 37 minutes in now and the Doctor made something else click! I used to grind my teeth day and night, unintentionally of course, but haven't been doing it for some time now and it just clicked! I don't want to spoil it so I won't say what it is! I will say this though, this information the amazing Doctor is sharing could be life changing and is worth listening to! It's so good that I'm going to listen to it several more times and share it!
Tom redo the video with you asking a question and then keeping shut!! Do NOT interrupt!! You kept breaking his flow man, was nice of him not to get annoyed!! Such wonderful knowledge being shared could well have done without your constant butt ins!!
He would say it is his show and he has a right to receive the information he wants. He can receive the information he wants in another way. This information is for us. Just a day or two before going on air, he needs to change his medication. For the benefit of his fans = us.
Unbelievable information! This interview has blown my mind! Please bring him back and thank you for all you do to help change the world one interview at a time!
Agh, been a long time subscriber, always loved Tom’s interviews and learned loads, but this one is just a struggle with the sheer amount of interruptions. Be good to have this interview again! I’m gonna look for another interview because the information is so crucial. Tom’s still the interview boss tho, this is just an anomaly, I’m sure. Keep up the great work 👍🏼🙏🏼
@@coratorr2245 that's interesting, thanks so much for sharing. What would you say are the main things that you learned as a direct result of the times when Tom interrupted?
You're generally very good, you gave a caution that this is not just another gut issue, but the only reason it got into the gut was because of the non-stop questions you asked when the guy was just trying to get through his introduction. It's almost like a case of let me show you what I already know
Wow Tom! I've been a huge fan for a long time. I have always thought your interview process was on point. If this is the new style a couple, of bros talking... I can no longer a good conscience refer you to my high-end clients. I've never seen one human, be more interrupted, in an interview ever. I actually stopped the video, and search for him to find his content. So I could actually hear him.
We could have gotten a lot more detailed information if you weren’t interrupting or derailing his trend of thought. Just sit back and listen. You’ll learn more.
I was really enjoying listening to what Dr Joel was saying but it seemed every time he was in a great explaination he was cut off losing his thought pattern on what he was explaining. There were topics I really wanted to hear his full explaination on. Please have this guy back and just allow him to finish explaining more without so many interuptions. I still did enjoy what I could get from this and thank you for the interview. Blessings!

Yeah sometimes I feel his interviews are a therapy session for Tom and his wife. I don't understand why he cannot take notes, wait for a pause and then follow up. He constantly interrupts the guests too disruptive. I like Lewis Howes he's excellent. (School of Greatness )
This Is an interview between a man who expands his knowledge so he can sound smart and a man who expands his knowledge for the love of patient care and helping his fellow human.
Yeah initially I thought the questions were good but I take it back, it became unwatchable the longer it went. Really frustrating to watch this. Poor guy
Tom since doing online interviews has been interrupting a lot. When he was in person was more controlled. Yes, it's annoying at times when the guests loses their flow.
Thank-you for having this man on your show. This was a great topic and I'd like to hear him again to get into more detail. One suggestion, next time don't interrupt so much; you'd ask a question and he'd start to answer and then you interrupt his answer to ask another question.
I didn't realize it was Tom is I was listening from a distance of the phone, and thought this interview was terrible he keeps talking over the guest. Then I pick up the phone and see Tom's face and think he's been talking over a lot of people lately oh, and you can see this guy get frustrated, rightfully so! And what's with the glasses? He looks like a goofball!
I grew up with cod liver oil and malt as a kid. In England, we used to have ‘pea souper’,days (thick fog) from the industrial factories, so for months in end we never saw the sun! We knew you had to take your oil to stop soft bones! This all fits in with what this amazing doctor says. And I am only 62 years old.
My mother gave us malt extract and cid liver oil .As for the sun .That scenario is going on daily now with chemtrails .No wonder so many are sick .They know what it's doing to us .
My grandmother lived with us in 60s as kids , she survived the blitz, every day 2 spoons of cod liver oil , and summer at least 6. Hours in the sun, I remember her say get that shirt off and soak up gods sunlight, she made my life a healthier one for that old knowledge and discipline, she lived to 98 , walked up 2 flights a day, ate fresh fish meat, veg, cheese daily , funny how in the years later we learn, the elders already had this sorted out .
Tom, we don't mean to hurt your feelings, but it took me over a day to restore my energy from the chaos of this interview. You generally sound like you are doing the interview for you, but this time it went too far, think of your audience. I listen to Rich Roll's pod casts, & always come out with lots of information & so relaxed, please take time & watch him, maybe you can relax a bit 👍 Thanks for all your time & good intention to help the world 🙏
Literally everytime he got going tom you interrupted him. I’m left wondering what information we missed out on because you kept interrupting him at the worst times.
I just found this today and it was absolutely fascinating. I was going to leave a comment about the frequency of interruptions but it appears many have shared that sentiment. I was kind of waiting for the good doctor to say would you stop interrupting me please so I can finish my thought but apparently he was far too Canadian to do. Lol. So so whenever you have a guest as fluid as him... who doesn't need prompting, let him do his thing.
Tom Bilyeu, thank you for providing so much content. We appreciate that you give a full amount of information surrounding so many topics. Part of your gift is to be a channel where your guest can share and impart knowledge. This is rare that you interrupt so much. To the guest, thank you 🙏 for sharing regarding vitamin d and it’s value in our health. Much to consider.
This is the first ever health expert who has mentioned deuterium. I have never heard of it and I am that geeky type who has read Weston Price's whole book and done a ton of health/nutrition research. So interesting. Thank you!
Agree. It's very frustrating to listen to a person who keeps getting cut off mid-sentence. Also don't need interviewer adding a lot of extraneous information, such as his baseline knowledge if telemers. Ask the expert. That's what he's there for.
That's strange ... I have yet to watch it in full but I am Tom's fan because he is less likely to interrupts his guests... I follow the suite in my interviews and it's neat
Before I started taking vitami D supplements I was plagued with constipation every other week or so. Since I’ve been on the vit. D supplements there’s no more constipation.
This is one of your episodes that literally blew my mind and woke up the interest in human body again. You two made this episode so touching for me that I can’t go back to who I was. My god you two are modern day gods because you are taking on problems our society has. THANK YOU
Everything this guys said is 💯 right. I went through the exact same shit myself. And now recovering through a keto/carnivore diet. It made a massive difference in my health.
That so many are reporting the health benefits of a carnivore diet must be a reason why they have labeled cows as a climate problem and are getting rid of them or adding harmful antibiotics and RNA changers..
This was a topic close to my heart as many of my family members, including myself suffer from auto-immune disease. Turned it off half way through because of the constant interruptions. I'll find this guest elsewhere and do my own research.
I have heard so many Tom's interviews and enjoyed them, but this was the first one he kept on interrupting so much and I was feeling damn let the man talk please! So frustrating!
Usually I consider Tom to be one of the best interviewers out there. He listens very well and very timely picks up on bits of information thrown at him by the guest. Unfortunately not this time 😃😃 But Iam sure he will go back to his old ways of interviewing amazing people.
This is a really great interview, yes interruptive but at the same time well facilitated to extract the relevant knowledge. And hey, distillation down to 2-3 key points here is key. So useful, keep it up!!!
I'm 4 minutes into the interview and I can't keep up with the Dr's storyline because Tom keeps interrupting him ☹️😣 Dr. Joel is such a good sport and doesn't get annoyed or lose enthusiasm despite all the interruptions. 🥺
hey Tom, you're one of my favorite interviewers but you were being really unfair to Joel in this one. He was being extremely patient with you and had great answers to all your redirects, but you never let him speak for more than 20-30 seconds at a time! I'm not sure why that was but I hope you have him on in the future so that he can talk without so many interruptions. Joel, thank you for sharing your perspective, it was very enlightening and in line with my observations and experiences with the medical industry over the years.
@roodles it almost makes me wonder if Tom said to him beforehand “Ok I apologize in advance but for this interview I am gonna switch gears and play the novice hyper skeptical devil’s advocate!!”
Tom please stop interrupting your guests! There are so many conversations where I wish I knew what they were saying but you go off on questions that do not matter. 🤦🏽♀️
Tuned on to hear Vit D. Had to cut out after 5 min of unrelated info. This is why I stopped listening to these podcasts a long time ago. Let the guest speak Tom.
I don’t know if it’s because of this disconnected remote interview style that is contributing to Tom being like this, but it is extremely annoying. He should look back and learn from his older studio interviews. He just seems really impatient and not really allowing the interviews to just flow and turning things around to himself far too often, ‘ I heard this, I heard that, this relates to something I did etc.’ Just stop!
So much medical science was explained by Dr. Gould. I should repeat several times. Much thanks to Dr. Gould and Tom for asking the right questions in behalf of the audience.
This is such great information, the only objection is that this doctor gets interrupted too much by you. Not that your questions are not really good questions, just that the interview has to be set up in a way that those questions come at natural pauses after the doc completes his statement. Like a great investigative reporter does. Thank you, Tom and Dr. Gould.
Wow!!! What an amazing interview! This confirms everything I have experienced myself over the years. Being raw vegan for almost 10 years. I felt amazing in the beginning, but over the years my health just detoriated more and more. The interesting part about the sun is that when I went raw I stopped getting sunburned, because I stopped eating processed foods. And I could stay out in the sun all day with friends of mine with a darker colored skin, and I was the only one who didn't get sunburned. Completely different from when I was following the original SAD-diet, I was so sensitive to the sun. Even friends of mine who was eating cooked vegan had issues with this, but they were also eating processed foods and a lot of soy products. And I know that soy is actually being used as a natural way of bleaching the skin in certain beauty focused parts of South America. After some time I figured out that I was totally depleted in omega 3's. So I started supplementing with omega 3 oils which also contained vitamin D3. And I felt better, more balanced over all. The best part was that I stopped being so depressed all the time. But even though fruit gave me issues like heartburn and sinusitis, I still wasn't able to let go of the thought of raw vegan being a healthy way to eat. Eventually my body started to reject all kinds of plant foods, my nervous system went into shutdown, making it even difficult to breath. And I was forced into switching over to eating meat, fish and eggs. At that time I was so heavily deficient in minerals and especially in magnesium even though I had for years been eating cases upon cases with bananas. And now I'm trying to move more towards a more balanced diet. I have been considering moving more towards a vegetarian diet again, but this made me really see this in a new perspective. All the puzzle pieces came together here now. I knew some of the stuff about glyphosate, but I thought glyphosate was mainly a problem when it came to conventional beans and grains, and not a problem with organic produce. Also I had no idea of the connection with deterium. had no idea of the connection with deterium. So this was very interesting to hear! It confirms it all for me. Thank you so much for sharing this! Very grateful 🫶
Hats off to the Dr’s patience for not leaving the interview despite being interrupted so much. Unbelievable
Difficult to listen because of the guy interrupting with absolutely stupid questions!

Try listening to your guests so the rest of us can too. I know you have a lot to say, but don’t.
Stop interrupting the guest. We want to hear HIM
Tom, I love you and this was a great topic- but... you have to stop cutting people off my friend!
Usually I would agree with you, but in this interview I was very happy for Tom interrupting and challenging him to clarify what he was saying! He was being a bit cryptic but when Tom pushed him to explain properly the info was mind-blowing.

The info from Dr Gould was incredible

Love you so much Tom. Today was feeling like you were intersecting a bit much and it cut off the doc and his train of thought Maybe you were just trying to keep things on track. But he never seemed to get out his full thoughts. Just an observation.
Dr Joel is a true gentleman. He immediately stop talking when Tom interrupts, he is answering the questions while following his red thread, this gentleman is informed, handsome and interesting. Whats not to love ?
The info of D3 and K2 need to hit all people on the planet.

I have enjoyed your interviews in the past but I agree with so many of the people commenting here: Why invite a guest on your show if you're not going to let him finish a thought?
Same!

He needs to take an interview course. First off he needs to wash that nasty dirty mouth with 🧼 so disrespectful and obnoxious. Love the dentist!
Thanks for introducing Dr Gould to me Tom 🙏🏽 It'd be even better if you would allow your guests to speak more and maybe leave your input and questions til later in future interviews 👍🏽
Also really appreciate the time stamps in the description 🙏🏽
The interruptions kills the momentum of the guest
the guest was almost able to finish a sentence. I will have to find another interview where he is allowed to complete a concept

Sorry.
Tom is interviewing an expert on a subject Tom knows little about. Ask a question then let him talk uninterrupted.
I do not like interviewer interrupt the informations dentist is giving to us! He needs to wait to say anything!
OH MY GOSH!!! LET THE DR. SPEAK!!!
Tom, dude the interruptions was too much. I felt sorry for the guy.

You are interrupting so much, please let your guest talk
Blessings of love and light to all!🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💙🙏🏼🧡🙏🏼💛💚🙏🏼
You are so wonderful for explaining his interruptions in such a thoughtful and helpful way.
@@Super12801 Thank you!
You corrected someone with depth and kindness who needed correcting badly.
What kind of vitamin D and dosage did you take? I have a D deficiency and don’t know where to start. Do you take K 2 and magnesium too for the D?

Tommmmmmmm!! Quarantine much? You keep cutting him off,,, which is torture for us.
He's trying to make his audience believe he's intelligent. You probably remember that kid in school who raised their hand all the time in a similar fashion. His producer should do him and his audience a favor and give him peanut butter and crackers minutes before each guest comes on.
@Rob That would calm him down.
@Rob Phenibut is known to act as a GABA agonist, providing an anxiolytic calming effect and this was one of the features why it was provided to cosmonauts. I would not attribute any paradoxical effects you experienced to what we see here though.
@Rob I've never taken it but a former roommate did. He didn't act like that. I believe man has gone to space, but not the moon. Certainly not in 1969.
I still got the information from the doctor regardless
I was glad of the interruptions. There was so much wonderful information powering out of Dr J , so many words that needed clarifying. Tom helped me to take a breath to absorb and understand. Thank you both and I really hope that you both do this again, phew, need to lie down.

hey Tom, you're one of my favorite interviewers but you were being really unfair to Joel in this one.

I am interesting to look for his books so I can study it myself and not to deal with dentist to be stopped while talking!
