I also have a Question maam. Is 4.5 liters of water intake a day bad for me?
      I'm 15 years old 5'7 65kg
      My usual activities:
      Lay in bed
Walk for not more than 10 minutes
      Eat
      Play games(mobile games)
      Sit down (in sofa)
      Write some lectures
I do play basketball for not more than 10 minutes I just stand there try to shoot but I don't run.
In short most of the day I just lay in bed or in sofa.
The temperature is around 32° Celsius but there are times it goes higher than 35 (the heat index).

@@user-wo4vo5nz8eHeya, hope your staying safe during this pandemic and I read your comment and I wanted to help. you with what I know. I'm not a professional but I had a nutritionist tell me that you should be drinking half of your body weight. 4.5 liters is a lot of water and remember that drinking too much water is bad for you because it flushes out the sodium in your body. The recommended amount of water for 15 year old boys is 1.8 litres (seven cups of water) and for girls is 2.6 litres (10.5 cups of water) . I hope this helpes you. But first just check with a professional that can give you waaayyyy better advice. This is just information I received when I was losing weight from my nutritionist.

I am eating a low carb plant based diet and I am doing intermittent fasting. I am trying to stay in a fasted state for 17-20 hours. I failed in doing intermittent fasting before because I was forcing myself to skip breakfast - did not work for me, I love having breakfast. Now, I stop eating between 2pm - 5pm and I feel a little bit hungry in the evening(the sensation doesn't really go away), but that is okay. It helps me go to sleep early and have a really good night sleep. Intermittent fasting is something that everyone should try. It brings discipline in your life!

@@MajdMD many have kept it off over a year!! Look up kelly hogan, lost over 100 lbs and its been awhile...she was interviewed for a magazine. Dr Berry has done it quite awhile, Dr Berg etc, thousands and thousands of people have lost 100s of pounds. There is only one thing in common with people who gain it back with low carb and any other diet, they go back to eating the Sad diet of America. That's who gains it back. They're is so much education to support low carb on the net but many Drs just know to push metforim on pts and don't know low carb has been proven successful for many many years. Oh look up Dr Fung and also Beat Diabetes here on you tube. Also for any one that is vegetarian, there is lowcarb and keto vegetarian diets they can follow. I knew alot of fatty vegetarians in my 50 years, was 7th day adventist at one time and they are all vegetarian. Half the church was fat!! Educate and elevate.......

Angel Shining Yes i am familiar with Dr. Berry. I am quite a fan of Intermittent Fasting and Dr. Fung, however - i do think IF is a much simpler plan that is easier to keep up long term for most people, much more so than the keto. My patients on keto aren’t keeping it up :( Whole-heartedly believe a “diet” must be a lifestyle change for it to stick. With all that said I’m very impressed with people like yourself for having kept it up long term - great job! Thanks for sharing your perspective!

24 lbs on keto but feel like crap. Always stressed about being dehydrated and electrolights. Its way more work if you are doing right. I dont want to figure out my macros every day. What's really wildly effective is PSMF (Protein Sparing Modified Fast) where you eat almost nothing but protein. It'll be quite low in overall calories but due to the massive amount of protein it'll spare your muscle mass.
Cons would be: can be hard on the kidneys if you don't drink enough and you need to get in fibre and vitamins so you don't get constipation.
It's a rather crash diet you can do for 1-2 weeks but it's effective af.
Generally I would say Intermittent Fasting, but that's more of an eating style rather than a diet. Eating lots of protein in general is a good idea though.

It's really complicated to say "you should do this or that" when you don't know which behaviours the person has and what you can do in your own daily life. Moreover, maybe losing weight will not be as good as it can look like for your health. Take care !

Any diet chosen should be viewed as a lifestyle change. 2 years ago I chose the KETO lifestyle with intermittent fasting. I lost 50 pounds, am no longer pre diabetic and take no medication.
Too many times, people diet to loose weight and once the weight is gone, they go back to making poor eating choices and gain the weight back. Think new healthy lifestyle.
There is also many Diet Doctors on UA-cam to help with sustainability advice, along with tracking apps.

But of course, I’m all for it if it’s sustainable long term for anyone - we don’t need all those carbs feeding the obesity epidemic. Let me know how they do through time if you can. Healthy Keto isn't extreme, it just isn't mainstream. This video explains a snippet of what Keto is about. Mainstream high carbs diets put a big strain on the organs dealing with all that glucose, when you are young and fit your organs and hormones etc can take the strain and recover quickly. When you get to 50 you have to try harder to maintain health, we should look at our diet, not just for weight, but for helping lots of health issues. Keto has amazing results for lowing blood sugar levels, for type 2 disbetes , improving and curing many ailments and problems. Look into it please people.

3 top secret (almost) diet plans for those who have tried everything else and still hunting for a good plan. And want to adjust their budget maybe with less quantity and better quality food
    #1
The first one I heard of when I was in my 20's I tried it a few years later and it does trim off a few kilograms, If you eat a big meal every day, that could be seen as a bit more food for the amount of physical work you do, cut it down to lets say ¾ or 7/8 the size, over the next few days your stomach shrinks in so you get less craving for food. The secret is not to eat before your next meal as you will feel hungry for a few days while the stomach is adjusting to the smaller size, each day as your stomach shrinks you will get less hunger pains before the next meal.
When or if you do feel hungry between meals, try a glass of water up until half a hour before your next meal.
    #2
I have heard many cases when people gave up eating bread using the generically engineered wheat from the 20th century, they have lost weight, I replaced almost a loaf of bread a week to a cup of mixed vegetables, and lost 10kg in a month. It seems to be not so much the Energy in Kilo-joules (or Calories) the bread gives you that adds the weight, but the damage modern GE wheat does to your body(with leaky gut syndrome) that piles on the extra weight.
    #3
It has been said on one of the health TV programs as world war 2 prisoners were released from prisoner of war camps, most of them had a unhealthy BMI, but one had a low end healthy BMI, he was asked “what is your secret” he replied “What little food I did get I spent half a hour chewing it” I have to ask is this a top secret diet plan or what? It could be not so much what you eat, but how long it takes, and if you take longer to eat, you are less likely to eat so much,
I have stood next to two people with obese BMI joking about their uncle who had normal healthy BMI because he took half a hour to eat his meals
I am surprised that this type of diet plan is not put into hospitals, as patients are given their meal they are told chew on this for half a hour you have nothing else to do but get well.
By chewing the food longer would the food give them more food nutrition and flush out a bit of body fat while lying in bed 24/7 .
