Lindsey, I am 49 years old and my 24 year old son introduced me to your music. Whoever told you that what you do is not marketable didn't know their market. You bridge the gap between young and old, classical and modern. I think your wonderful and what you said about how we each have our own God given characteristics and we need to use those is spot on. WTG GIRL

This day, I was rewarded by not only music and dance from Lindsey, but her words of inspiration. I really needed this today. Thank you Lindsey. I will continue to write and I will publish another novel. Confirmed this date!

Her love of what she does is what's soooo contagious, and how can anyone NOT be drawn to that? I'm adding uplifting, fun, and flat-out enjoyable to your list. My hope is she continues to do, and be, what she does so well and she continues to love it.

"When you do what you love, people are drawn to you".
You've got that right. There's just something....inspirational and addictive about watching Lindsey play the violin. She looks like she's having so much fun, and its contagious.

I knew the finger work in Crystalize was fantastic, but seeing it at the end just gave me a whole new appreciation for the talent Lindsey has. She's an absolutely wonderful violinist, and an even better person.

My sister and nieces play the violin, and I played for 20 years, and I disagree with anybody who says your music is not marketable. I could listen to it all day!

There are always people who tell you what you love can't be done just because it isn't phenomenally popular. However, talent and passion combined usually gains a substantial audience. Who would have thought Celtic Woman would be a worldwide phenomenon when they launched? Even they didn't think that (it was a 1-night PBS special after all). Keep going full-speed ahead Lindsey. You're awesome.

Passion is what makes a performer. You will shine, and your radiance will touch all corners of the world. Never stop dancing. Never stop playing. What you do is so full of life that all who see and hear are infected with the strength of your passion, and inspired to reach within themselves for what we see in you.

She does make it look easy . . .I've played viola for 8 years now lol I don't anything like that. Still though it's obvious because she puts sssssooooo much love into her music it's unbelievable. I'm personally drawn not only to her songs but her freedom to do what she loves regardless if its a "marketable" talent or not.

As an agnostic, I'd like to share that I think what Ms. Stirling does is incredible. She gives. She shares. She loves. I may not believe in a particular creed, but she will forever be a shining example of my belief in the human spirit.

I am 60 as well. I agree with you. I still listen to "heavy metal" but a European symphonic type. But this young lady is great and does a variety. Love watching the choreography. She is a dancer. She is the violin girl. She can also sing. So much talent and, in a wee little package.Too much to say.

when people see someone express what they truly care about, the honesty of it end up being entertaining for it's own sake. Lindsey not only does this but with the sort of skill that would be entertaining anyway. Add to all that a sense of real creativity and you get a perfect storm of Awesomeness that is her music.

If you love something and can communicate that love effectively you can make money at just about anything. You are blessed with amazing talent, so glad you are proud to be yourself and do what you love... the rest of us are graced by the gift you give us with your talent.

Those judges probably don't even remember what it is to actually be a musician, they are paid to tell you what they want out of people, not what you want to bring to the people. Keep it up you are such an inspiration! I'm going to be beginning violin lessons soon because of you and I have always loved the violin. Such a beautiful instrument! Oh, and can you please do a Harry Potter melody?

You're so right about Lindsey bridging the gap between young and old. My wife and I are in our 60s and just adore Lindsey's music and Lindsey hereself. We had the honor and privelege to meet her at her Houston Concert. So my wife thinks I've gone a bit overboard but I cant remember anyone who has grabbed me like she has since the Beatles...and that was 50 years ago. Just as they were new and unique so is Lindsey Stirling. Can't say much else, not enough chracters left to say it all. :o)

I adore you & your music. I wish my son could see you perform. Maybe he would be motivated to learn and play the violin a friend gifted me and I asked Joshua to hold till I found a home. Homeless, unemployed, living in a truck since Nov. 2009 has been rough but it has given me the courage to play guitar and sing at local open mics. Godbless You Lindsey for chasing your dreams and inspiring me. Thanks Angel. Love & "LIGHT", Christopher

When you hear the music you think of how amazing it is, and how amazing her performances are, and yet we forget her drive isn't money, or fame, or even being remembered. Its to be s symbol to others, to prove that we can live our dreams. Her motives behind her music is the real beauty, and the music its self could never compare.

I definitely agree with Lindsey when she says that if you do something you love, people are drawn to you. I mean she chooses the things she does on UA-cam, and if she wasn't enjoying herself, it would show, and I bet people wouldn't like her music as much. I love the music she composes and arranges, I buy the sheet music myself just because I love it so much. I think with her upcoming tour, album, the number of views on her videos (108 millionish) just proves her talent to people who doubt it.

I think it's important to realize that most ppl in the entire world would've doubted Lindsey doing what she does. Some ppl would voice it, some are "polite". The fact is that what she had attempted is far from the status-quo that existed for hundreds of yrs! In humanity once in a while someone capable (accompanied by strong will) illuminates a new and better path and shows ppl the way. There is a famous quote I think of:
"Only those who attempt the absurd will achieve the impossible". MC Esher
