Most museums have little shops, would be ideal for that. Also high end stores that appeal to the traditional quality market could use to display accessories - I’m thinking like the kind of shops in Leeds Victoria quarter which are all in our historic arcades surrounded by Victorian architecture. But I love the museum idea.

You did a great job! The idea behind donating this to a charity thrift store is brilliant! They can display donated items in an elegant display cabinet, thereby helping them to keep on getting profit. Things like this are needed just like donations to help them run.
However, I would offer to install some locks for safety, and in the cabinet, to make a thin piece of wood, with maybe some thin felting, then black or navy velvet for display. The jewelry wont slide around on the wood and scratch it up. Just some thoughts.

I love how well you brought this piece back from its grave.
Considering the condition and all the previous repair, I thought it must be more like 200 years old.

I may have said this before about a previous piece, however,it applies here. You took something that was crumbling in your hands and made it into not just something functional, but attractive too.I never would have thought you could make it look so good. Bravo!

From trash to treasure! You did a fantastic work on that piece. It was really damaged and now it became a nice furniture that can be used at any fancy small shop, as a fine display. Great job!

R u kidding me. That turned out so amazing. You are so talented. I knew it was going to be fabulous but this was even more than I thought it would be. Your kitty in the background cracked me up. He's so funny.

I would have thrown this in the trash, but I have every confidence that you are going to make it beautiful! I know nothing about wood, and have no idea how it will end up, but I love the warm colour of the sanded wood. Thank you in advance for all your work!

I was clenching my hands throughout the video wondering how you were going to get it done. Wow it's so amazing!!! I like that you used old fashion techniques in this project. Well done

What a transformation! This is looking brilliant. You could donate that to a library. They could display valuable books in it.

Well done. Considering what you started with, I am surprised at the product. The legs were a perfect addition to this redo. You should rightly be proud.

What a fussy, time consuming job, you pulled it off beautifully. I'm so glad you persevered with restoration rather than rebuilding; you kept it's beautiful character and history alive. Awesome work!

From this side of the camera, when I first saw the piece, it didn’t look too bad. Then you began taking it apart and I wondered how much of the original piece you could retain. I even wondered, briefly, if you might give up. However, when a problem presented itself, you tackled it. We were even entertained by Mondo in the background. You were able to pull it off once again. The finished piece was lovely.

Mando (aka the quality control inspector) certainly does a thorough inspection, also helps that he's cute 💓 Jay, I really thought you met your match on this one but once again you've turned trash into treasure. Well Done, what a beautiful piece!!!
