How can you recommend something that rubs and never sits correct neither on stock shock nor on Bilstein B6 or B8, this is the worst set of springs ever.
Just recently installed these springs on my st. These springs are amazing. I’ve heard on forums these were available as a option in the UK and it makes sense. They easily pass for stock springs. Ride is amazing. It may be slightly stiffer than stock but nothing extreme. I’ve lowered cars before and the ride was rough. This feels stock with virtually no body roll and wheel gap is all but gone.
Did you keep the stock shocks and struts when installing? I have a 2014 Focus SE and it's impossible to find aftermarket shocks and struts that don't end up costing me as much as coilovers would, total. Thanks
Im literally now going to do your trick for seperating the strut from the knuckle from now on. Too many times have a pulled the entire knuckle with the strut attached to seperate out of the vehicle
I have a ford focus St 2017 and installed the springs godspeed 1.2 and strut monroe, but not under anything seems the original suspension. The only thing that did not change were the bump stops, I'm use the oem, you should change them for a shorter one.
can anyone answer this question? if im having trouble removing the top end link bolt (my version requires offset box wrench and hex key), can I just remove the bottom endlink bolt instead? endlink should just come out still attached to the strut, if im not mistaken.
@@tommylong2151 theres a space between the endlink and the strut where you can put a wrench to hold the stud while you loosen the nut. Or you can use the hex hole in front to.hold the stud while you loosen the nut
the lower spring end: has an end stop but also a dip 'marker' where the previous spring end lined up with (1cm away from the metal stop). Which is the correct location for the spring end?
You guys always make the best how-to vids, appreciate the content you put up! But man..seeing all that surface rust is painful..at least toss some rustoleum on there ^_^
does this install still work if I own a post facelift 2016? I read most of the comments but I just want to be sure the tools he mentioned are the same ones post facelift. I need to order some online before I do the install
I HAVE A FOCUS ST WITH SPACERS IN THE REAR WHEELS OF 25MM, I WANT TO PUT THESE SPRINGS, MY DOUBT IS: ARE THEY GOING TO STICK OR ROZE MY RIMS WITH THE BODY?
So wait, are you telling me the bump stock provided goes on the Shock, and not on the bottom of the Spring Perch like you showed in the original Sportline install five years ago?...... Shit ua-cam.com/video/K1uN1qSz2X4/v-deo.htmlm20s
These are terrible! Do not buy, the 2nd ring bunches up and pushes out to the side and causes insane rubbing, if you match them with Bilstein B8's it's even worse. What a waste of 2 years of my life not being able to properly use the car, even lost control in a corner on the track. DO NOT BUY THESE. I'm testing alternatives at the moment, I think part 113502308FA will work for the front and I'm also testing 118400607VA.
Yes I just failed inspection saying these are rubbing. I took one side off it is def a slight rub. I’ve tried just about everything I can’t get them in without them touching the body of the car. Not happy right now.

Great watch like always. 10/10 still trying to find me one.
what lowering springs are the most recomended the most of any on the market, theres too mant to choose from

Angel Lawless Ik it’s been 6 months, but did you figure this out, bc I was trying to do mine today and couldn’t get it and gave up

Steven11525 That’s only on the prefacelift, luckily my friend had the right tool, you need a pass through wrench sadly :(
@@tommylong2151 huh. I have both on my 17 ST2

Thank you and good point! This car belongs to a customer and has been his year round daily driver since new. It could use some love for sure.

What kind of rim and tire setup is that I need to get that for mine and the offset???
What wheels?
What kind of rims are those? Awesome video tho
Wedssport SA-10R in 18x8.5
What spring compressor is that ?
I have 13 st would ❤️ to do the Bilstein coil over setup that’s on your site .Would like to see a video on that setup with driving reviews

Did you do it???
How the fuck you got that upper tie rod bolt off so easy blows my mind
Great time for new struts too
Took me 8 hours to do this job, with a lift and with a mechanic. 3 hours my butt
Im going to try to tackle this 100% on jack stands
@@cptnscoob how did it go? I'm about to do mine in about 30 minutes on jack stands as well.

@@rustybrown771 it’s horrible, worst product ever. I can confirm the other springs work, but the handling is horrible. Get white line or H&R
Could have sand down the rust and paint . I love Chris fix it he would
You should show the whole process not just the perfect shots
Most people don't need their hand held for an hour and a half. A 12 minute video is much more realistic.
You leave old rusty shock absorbers, no way...not in your US style...:))
Damn that car is rusty. Does the owner live by the sea?
Daily driver, pa winters, salted roads
@@cjponyparts if i wanted to skip the rear shock removal, are the bump stops the same from stock to the eibach?
FUCK this install..lol I'm a complete novice and let me say yea....took awhile.
Great time for new struts too
