For all the folks worried about hood alignment, I just installed mine and I had the same issues, but I used the painted surface around the washer to line everything back up, not a big deal with a little know-how.
I like that option better than the metal bar that you would have to unhook and put into the hole under the hood. It helps with the clearance of the hood when fixing something under the hood. I'll do that to mine after I buy it next weekend. Thanks for the installation process.
Man i have a 2012 Ford Focus S. Can you upload some videos to improve my ride. As you know with de S model i have no fancy buttoms or any special light upgrades. Nice videos man keep on it!
MRT hood shocks are WAY better. Totally out of the way of working in the engine bay. The Redline shocks are right in the way from working on the car from over the front fenders. You'll hate them when you need to reach over and work in the engine bay. AND......MRT shocks, no drilling holes anywhere.

Just installed, super easy. Works great.
I would suggest doing one at a time so you don’t mess up alignment

The great thing about capitalism is, you are free to purchase, or not purchase, any item. Pretty neat system don't you think?
