Props man for being honest. It doesn’t do me a damn bit of good to cheat and win. I’ve about got my ass kicked that way just gotta have good reactions or better than the other guy. Same in a car 💪🏼😜
Awesome car man it runs hard I just got my 3rd gen in the 12s on foot brake couple weeks ago I ran 12.82 at 107mph on just motor with 3.73 gears th350 and 3k stall but I'm gonna change gears to 4.11 see if I can get low 12s maybe high 11s and again man that's an awesome ride
I’m planning on doing a Truck 5.3 and 4L60E LS swap on my 1990 camaro z28. What kit do I need? Do I have to change the oil pan or transmission pan? Any info will help me a bunch. Thanks
I got a 91 s10 with sloppy stage 2 cam longtubes holly single plane and quick fuel 750 .3.73 gears 3200 stall msd 6014 box 8.8 rear and th400 ints a nitrous truck but na I run 7.95 and 89 and 12.43 and 110. On the street with draggy the truck is a low 7 sec and mid 11 on 100 shot at the strip but we got about the same setup ..curious what is your timming mine is 31 degrees from 3500 to 6500 and 32 degrees at 7000rpm try footbrake man my truck is slower on 2 step my adjustable shocks and assassin bars are way off I have good suspension but your not far from low 12.s na man keep it up
@@KravasGarage yea I been thinking about going to a mid or high rise single plane but I like the low and mid of the duel plane the truck makes good power up top anyway
Hey man, had a quick question. I rmbr in one of your older videos you had used the factory dished flexplate mated to a th400 with one of those adapters. What / how did you space your torque convertor and flywheel? What size bolts did you use? Really appreciate it. Hopefully you see this.
IIRC it was 3/16" gap, I used 3 washers that I measured carefully with a caliper to ensure they were all the same...and grade 8 flanged bolts with flanged lock nuts with a drop of locktite to be safe.. I think they were 3/8 bolts..
The Ls Gens are not even close to being technical a vortex motor to much to explain but cm on these motors Been around at least 2 decades. An still people spread miss info why I don't know. But nice 3rd Gen.
Not a Vortec SBC but GM literally called all of the LS based truck engines "Vortec" from 1999-2013. The LT based truck engines from 2014 to now are called EcoTec3.
Just did the 5.3 cam only swap in my Camaro, ran 12.47 with a BTR Stage 2 Turbo cam on motor.
Congratulations on getting in the twelves.
Good luck next weekend.
