    Absolutely love Geek and Gorgeous Vic C and A Game, both brilliant and a great price point.

    Hi Karen I think videos like this are a real window into what people love (as are empties with repeated items). My skin type is different so my repeated products are also different. I have extremely dry skin with both rosacea and eczema. Unfortunately the Garnier version is a bit irritating but I love the original Bioderma sensibio and their new biphase eye makeup remover is amazing (better than Lancome bifacil).
    The Lumene cream you mentioned wouldn’t suit me, but I like their fragrance free range especially the night cream for dry/sensitive skin.
    I like some of the ordinary oils as hair oils for my coarse curly hair, but their skincare isn’t my favourite.
    Best wishes x

    Hi Karen, this was a good idea for a video. I've used some of the same items for years too, love lactic acid and NMF, also use A Game retinal. Was thinking about trying The Ordinarys new retinal although it's only 15ml. Love Amino Acids as well, you steered me on to that one! Would love to see a makeup one and even a cleaning one! Hope you're ok x

      Thanks Jo! OMG, I didn't even know about the The Ordinary Retinal, I've gone immediately and purchased it, how exciting :0) I will review and report back! Oh yes, I forgot about Amino acids, I did enjoy them. I need to watch my own videos back 🤣 I do love a cleaning product lol. Hope you are well. xx

      Ooo yes please do report back, it's stronger than the A Game one which is good (or bad depending on your sensitivity!) I'm OK thanks for asking, well, I'm going through some health issues but apart from that lol 😆, see you soon x

    Good morning Karen, do you use cotton pads with the micellar water to remove your makeup, is this what you use as your first cleanse the cleansing milk and then just micellar water as the 2nd cleanse. I’ve been using Bioderma as my eye makeup remover and then a cleansing balm as my first then some sort of a gel cleanser as my 2nd cleanse. Those can get pretty pricey, I’m always looking for a better alternative. The color of your hair is lovely.❤. How what I eat in a day, my favorite meals I could eat everyday.

      Yes exactly, cotton wool (reusable sometimes), cleansing milk then micellar water as the 2nd cleanse. Oooh good idea! Thanks so much Bea, kisses to Dobi 😘

    The lactic acid looks good. Does it reduce pore size?
    I notice the website has a very long list of products it cant be used with incl. Peptides, retinol etc. What do you think? How do you use it in your routine? 😊

      @TheBeautyMaverick  29 днів тому +1

      To be honest I didn't notice regarding pores but I suspect that's because I wasn't really noticing them really. I did have issues with pores many years ago, that got worse after I stopped using products with alcohol. This is the first time I've really thought about them but I think it may be because other bigger issues took my focus like bags, wrinkles etc lol.
      Its not a simple answer re what you can use them with - that is very cautious from the ordinary and rightly so - it depends on your skin type, how sensitive it is, how much you've used Retinoids in the past and what type etc. Peptides I wouldn't use with it as I believe from memory there is an issue with the peptide "working" as well, but I don't particularly believe in peptides. (If I use them it's for moisture or curiousity). If I use Retinol my skin is a mess so I personally wouldn't use those together. I just cleanse and then put lactic acid all over, then moisturiser. I've done a couple of skincare routine videos you might enjoy. x

    Karen your nails are always so beautiful I think you said you do them yourself are they Gel if so doesn’t it ruin your nails underneath when you use it all the time when ever I have gels nails my nail suffer for it xx

      Hey Sandra! Did I ever tell you that my childhood guitar tutor was called Sandra Bruce?! 🤣 Onto nails - yes I use gel all the time, my nails are a mess if I don't use gel, they just split and I can't get them long at all. I realised the way to keep nails healthy with gel is proper gentle removal. x
