Fab to see you back Karen! There's no doubt aging is very difficult for us but it's better than the alternative! I think we are our own harshest critics and instead of seeing the whole picture we can get caught up focusing on our percieved issues. Hi Karen so nice to see you again. You look great so try not to beat yourself up, sadly I don't practise what I preach as I feel like as soon as I hit menopause I aged 10 years and I hate it!! My undereyes now make me look tired and my sagging jowls make me want to cry. My hair drives me nuts, for years now I've had baby hair growing at my parting, some of it is a couple of inches long now but I have lots of 1-2cm hairs that just stick up everywhere like I've rubbed a balloon on my head 🙈. My hair used to be so smooth too and now it's frizzy. Bloody aging 😫. Anyway so good to hear your voice again, I look forward to another video whenever you feel able to make one xx

Hey Karen so happy you're back. You're just so comforting to watch. Re the negativity - i totally get it. Its your channel, your body, your face and you speak to this from your experience. I think people just love to share their opinion when no-one asked for it - and we've lost the art of justification! People have disagreements, but then actually explain and inform why you feel that way - comments that just hate or disagree without any reasoning dont massively help.
But you bring so many light and joy with your videos so please focus on that!! ❤

I’m here Karen, I wrote a comment earlier and had to leave to take Dobi on his walk. I just came back to finish watching and my comment disappeared.😢haha your rants, I loved, if I had the money I’d have a body lift done even at my age of 70.😅 I had an eye left as well and it’s one of the best things I did plus my Dr. said I needed it done before having cataract surgery.
Just turned 54 and the ageing depression is real! Decided to splurge and got the new Medicube booster age tool and a hand held Mito red light and a whole load of Korean skincare. Not sure if it's all combined but it started working in a week! I'm shocked. My main problem was the face sag and it's lifting plus my undereye lines have softened.

It’s the hair loss the same thing happened to me while going through menopause, I’d have to clear the drains and there was always hair over the floor in the bathroom. Like you I have thick hair and I’m 71 now and my hair is as thick as ever it was just the menopause and now it just comes out at a normal rate now.
I totally agree with you about the judging comments, nobody has the right to judge what you do or comment negatively on what you do so deleting and blocking is the right approach I think. There’s enough negativity in the world without having to deal with it on here. I’m looking forward to your next video whenever you’re ready. 🥰

I watch plastic surgery videos I can’t think that I will ever do anything but I just find it interesting and glad I do as I’ve learned that some non surgical procedures can be aging and if hadn’t watched that surgery videos I wouldn’t know that and I might have used them on my face if face I know I’d have used them on my face while it’s best to keep for the body
Hrt is great for hair. My hair has never been as good in years. it feels thicker and looks it. Your hair still looks lovely. Nice your back.

Thanks so much! I get asked about my hair colour so often but I'm afraid it's just my own colour, I don't do colour. I used to use a bright red wash in wash out but haven't used anything for about 3 years or more. x

The nod fractionated eye concentrate, is amazing for eyes. I’ve seen a difference in only half a bottle. Also, do you know that the grande lash serum has prostaglandins it causes darkness around the eyes and hollows.

Your my favorite youtuber because i trust your unbiased honest opinions. I think you are tooo harsh on yourself because you always look lovely.I agree 1000% that what you do to your body doesn't open up a gate to criticism & opinions. I love your hair how you clip it back but i also think that might be causing some breakage. I have stopped putting my hair up / back etc as i am the same as you, my hair also feels awful. I'm putting it down to menopause. I have spent a fortune but actually think it was in better condition with high street products. I do think my skin / hair has improved with collagen powder in my coffee every morning. Hope to see more of you if you feel up to it x

Try using organic castor oil cold pressed, hexane free. It can help hair using just a little and also helps facial lines, under eyes, eyebrows and lashes. Good luck nice to see you back.

Ageing is a privilege
Regarding skin and hair, collagen can work wonders. But just make sure it is a sugar free low molecular weight collagen peptide with types 1 and 3. I suggest 10-20g per day.

You look wonderful Karen, did you know that being on wegovy can cause hairloss? I don't think it is the drug just the weightloss itself. I am using it as well and I do not have enough hair as it is so thin so hope I do not lose any! Take care.x
Yes I did know that but this started before I started it and seems to have slowed down recently even though I'm on a higher dose. I think it's Menopause lol. xx

Is the centella from Skin 1004? IPhone has a filter on it. Even when it doesn't, if that makes any sense. I switched to Samsung and was mortified! Personally though, I think you look great in the living room. I presume you're using natural light in there and studio lights in the other room. Either way you look great.

You need to get to a place of acceptance with ageing there is only one other option. With technology we have to look at our own faces more than is good for our mental health. "Amt ageing" is a losing battle

My under eye wrinkles are my biggest concern particularly under one eye as I squint a lot! I got a course of Derma Eye 2.0 done its 5 injections sessions under my eyes every 2 weeks initially, then I will go for top up’s every 3/4 months.
I have seen a definite improvement in under eye darkness and while my under eye wrinkles are still there, they’re definitely softer.
