This is actually great, most of the tutorials for steaming milk are from baristas with, understandably, professional equipment, so their steaming process is completely different from a cheap home coffee machine with a small flimsy steam wand lol
This steam wand is pretty close to what mine looks like, in my pitcher I have to put a lot more milk so that the wand could even reach it
This is really helpful and refreshing to see, explained in detail too!

Thankyou!!! I appreciate your comment~ And true, it is trickier using cheap home machines😅

@@bell.annabell Aww I'm glad ^^ And it definitely is, I bought the smallest pitcher I could find but I still need to add slightly more milk but then I have too much XD I use a Gorenje 12mbk coffee machine and it's steam wand has a really weird extension that the manual says nothing about, I need to take it off in order to steam milk for latte art, the extension I'm assuming is only meant to be used for making a cappuccino as it froths it wayyyy too much
There are no tutorials for the coffee machine I have and honestly there aren't any tutorials for home machines at all with steam wands that look like mine so this video is very helpful

@@bell.annabell The struggles we go through lmao
So far I haven't but I've gotten really close to making a heart that fills the entire cup, I have a deeper cup so I had to tilt it a lot more, I bought a new cup yesterday that most resembles the cups used for latte art so now I need to get used to it 👍

Oh it’s for frothing bigger foams for cappucino, i suggest taking it off if you want to do latte art👍🏻

Why is mine always foaming? I cant do latte art the milk won't float. I tried everything I've watched including the angles but it keeps on foaming. It's also possible that the wand is too short so should I put more milk?

Foaming? After you pull out the big wand, it will become shorter so yes, you do need to put in more milk until the wand can be submerged
