  • The Ducky One2 SF is nearly perfect in every way. The only things it's missing are things that are my own personal preference, like bluetooth, and hot-swappable switches. Get yours below:

    Your videos are awesome! I just started looking for 65% keyboards when I came across your videos, thought to myself wow what a good high quality channel then I saw your subscriber count! You're definitely on your way to big stuff my man.
    About the keyboard though, as I was watching I kept thinking to myself wow what a good keyboard, almost exactly what I was looking for (not hotswapable unfortunetly but not the end of the world), then you mentioned it's wired and that killed it for me, As your skit in the video if ducky made a similar WIRELESS model It'd be a top seller for sure. Currently leaning towards the GK68XS instead, not a fan of the K6's ABS keycaps and the side mounted port. Also it's basically out of stock atm lol

    I have that keyboard and for anyone who gets it, get yourself the drivers for it or else you might get double clicks, like : "helllo" with the drivers this issue is fixed. You can mod the keyboard too, I filled the keyboard case up so its dampend and spraylubed the switches. Besides that you can put some extra dielectrical grease in it or certain multiuse grease to Lube the stabelizers. You might also try to put O rings on it for a even better and soft feel while typing

    Never seen anyone do a rubber V key, only WASD. Really interesting. They should come out with an Aluminum cased version!

    • @VeryImportantGeeks
      @VeryImportantGeeks  3 роки тому +1

      I wish they would. So the only reason I used the rubber keycaps there was when I was playing Destiny. I also play guitar and my fingers would get so calloused that I needed rubber grippy keys to feel so I could tell what I was pressing. V was the main "action" key in the game. I'm such a mess lol.

    I like ducky keyboards, just wish they had bluetooth options by now as well. And lately I'm getting curious about low profile keyboards. Which I haven't seen to be made by ducky just yet.

      If you’re looking for hotswap and Bluetooth I’d recommend the keydous nj68. You can tune the nj68 to be more premium feeling so it gets my vote. I haven’t used the Anne pro 2 myself so I’m not sure about that.

    I have a question about which switch should I get
    I like to play league of legends but I think I will start playing warzone (call of duty)
    Which switch do you guys recommend?

    • @VeryImportantGeeks
      @VeryImportantGeeks  3 роки тому

      A lot is personal preference based on what feel or sound you like. No switch is objectively better at gaming than another. If you like smooth switches, go with a linear switch like MX red. If you like a lot of feedback in your fingers and a lot of sound, go with a clicky switch like MX blues. If you like in between, go with a tactile switch like a MX brown. Some switches are lighter and some are heavier. Figure out what you like. Lots of companies have their own proprietary switches too, like Logitech’s Romer-G. But generally all switches are either linear, tactile, or clicky. People tend to say linear is “faster” for gaming but I don’t know that the differences in speed make a real difference in actual play. Too many other factors like latency, reaction time, etc. Thanks for asking. Hope that helps.

    • @VeryImportantGeeks
      @VeryImportantGeeks  2 роки тому

      On this particular one, it’s just the keycaps and cherry red switches that come with the board. The only thing I did was add prongs to the caps.

    • @deadb0ris
      @deadb0ris 2 роки тому

      I meant switches, my bad. Do prongs make it louder or quieter however? I'm not extremely knowledgeable on the keyboard game.

    • @VeryImportantGeeks
      @VeryImportantGeeks  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you so much! I appreciate the kind words. Ducky does not make a hotswappable version unfortunately, but for the price you'd pay for the ducky there are a lot of similar 65% options that are hotswap like the RK68 or a Keychron K6.

  • @Nabee_H
    @Nabee_H 3 роки тому +2

    I wouldn't really go for the ducky sf
    I went with a K6 and for the same price (CAD) if not cheaper I got a hotswap pcb, bluetooth support, and an aluminum frame. Only thing different than the ducky are the keycaps and those end up getting changed by most people.
    Both still really good keyboards and id say the Duckys RGB is way better

    • @VeryImportantGeeks
      @VeryImportantGeeks  3 роки тому +1

      That's exactly why I got the K6 as well after a while with the Ducky. But I had bad luck with the K6 so good thing I kept the Ducky as a backup. But you're right, the K6 is HIGHLY competitive.

      @@Nabee_H Really good actually. The first time around they sent me a new board for free after I went through some troubleshooting with them. After the second one I just got tired of dealing with it. I had gone through 6 different steps of troubleshooting, uploading videos for them to see what was going on. I'm sure they would've worked with me more but it wasn't worth it for me to continue at that point.
