Hi! I just got my Ducky One 2 Mini yesterday, for my first 60% keyboard because this video made me feel confident enough to buy one. It's so lovely to use, I got it with the Cherry MX linear blacks for work. And it helps me type since I tend to press a bit hard on my keyboards (my boyfriend likes to complain that I type hard). This will be a fun experience and I just want to say thank you for making such informative and fun videos about your hobby! I can't wait to deep dive into the hobby more!

As someone who has gotten so far into the keyboard community, I was hating on this keyboard because popular streamers were using it. Thanks for this "late" review :) I just purchased a One 2 SF (white RGB), can't wait to get it! As you said, to me, it's a advantage not to have dedicated SW, but included FW. I'm programming on both Linux and Windows computers so I'm sure it will behave the same way. Yes it's not so easy to perfectly customize it, but it's done once for all. I guess having several profiles will be usefull to have tools/SW dedicated macros. It's maybe overpriced for a wired keyboard anyway.
I'm new to the world of mechanical keyboards and am really enjoying your channel. A non-keyboard question -- I've noticed how the quality of your videos has improved lately. What did you change in your setup? New camera, lighting? Thanks and keep up the great honest reviews.
Maybe I got unlucky with my keyboard, but mine started breaking about 6-7 months after I got it. The rubber grips on the bottom that are supposed to stop it from sliding fell off so I swapped to the higher setting, then even those fell off in about a month. I had certain keys on my keyboard that when I would press them it would type twice and my spacebar would double press randomly many times just after the first 3 months of having it. I am never too rough with my keyboards so it is something that was surprising to me. Personally would not recommend using it because it tends to fall apart fairly fast.
Could be fake, the known issue for this exact board is it wont turn on when u boot up ur pc, but for the double clicking it might be ur switch that's broken, but usually it will break in 1 and a half year

very nice, as a ducky one 2 mini user they already updated the dip switches to a certain keybind. So the physical ones doesnt really work anymore. Just look up the most recent manuals/news to find what specific keys it is
There is only one upgrade I'd like on the ducky one 2 mini. It needs the ability to record macro keystrokes at defined intervals (like the TKL or 100% versions). I would really like to have macro keystrokes that can quickly execute a string of commands. In the current form, the one 2 mini can only execute at the same pace you record it at... I have two of these... Fell so in love with the layout and feel. Cherry MX Silent Red's for my work keyboard, and Cherry MX Speed Silver's for my gaming board.
I recently settled on getting the ducky mecha mini but am unsure of what key switch to get for gaming and typing (between cherry mx red, brown, and Kailh box whites) Any advice is appreciated! I previously used the redragon k552 with outemu reds and I had a typo seemingly on every other sentence. I’m leaning towards the box whites but I’m not sure of how they fair in gaming or if cherry mx reds are that much better for typing than outemus. This will be a one and done keyboard for me (at least for several years) so I’d like to make the right decision. Thanks!
I have a Ducky. I'm not sure what model, tho. It says DK9087G2 (It's a 10 keyless board) on the back, but I can't find that board on their site and barely any info about it online. I've had it for years now, and it still works wonders. I recently purchased a Keychron model, but the feel just didn't compare and I went back to my trusty Ducky. it doesn't have any of the new features you see on boards nowadays. It's all plastic, it's not hot-swappable, it's got no RBG or any lighting for that matter. It feels nice to type on tho.
Meanwhile I'm sitting here, switching back and forth between your Ducky Mecha Mini and Ducky One 2 Mini videos, because I cannot decide between those two. It's hard to get them in a qwertz layout without them being sold out or no ETA on delivery. Reee. Thanks for the videos though! They're really helpful and answer all questions somebody could have around a mechanical keyboard! Keep it up!! Cheers, Danny

I love my ducky one 2 mini but I wanna get a new one with browns cause the blues sound so bad in streams and videos
I was looking at the Ducky One 2 TKL version. Is this the same as the Ducky one 2 Mini just in TKL layout?
I was never interested in keyboards until I discovered this channel about a year ago. I now have 16 keyboards.
Cheers,
Danny
Thanks
What are the white keycaps in the thumbnail called and where can I get them.
