I just bought this keyboard yesterday at BestBuy on sale for 130 bucks. The feel and quality of it definitely puts it in the premium tier of keyboards, which from what I've seen is in the high 100 to low 200 dollar range. So if it's currently at 130 that would make it just a bit more expensive than mid level keyboards which makes it a good deal. So if you can grab this now I say go for it. I came from a mid level keyboard so I can't say how this stacks up with other premium keyboards but damn is it nice.
That keyboard might be the best wireless TKL that is sold at local big-box-stores. Nice enough of a keyboard that the RGB feels like a side (unnecessary) feature.
@@s-code-b yeah I didn’t know much about keyboards before I bought it but every time I would test a keyboard out that felt high quality the price would always be closer to 200. That’s why I was surprised with this one because the price is was just a little more than a mid range keyboard.
@@homerthompson6028 That you bought at sale price is an incentive to bother at all. I have other boards from the same store that retail for more, one that MSRP'd for more than $200. Those others have shine-through RGBs but not anywhere close to being as plush as the K65 Plus --already done all the work at factory so you won't have to struggle with customization (deleting imperfections) after having just shelled out for the purchase. I have many boards now; didn't expect to; only wanted one. It is really a bit wasteful, so if you get lucky early on with one that already presents nothing to dislike, then you have yourself a long-termer. At Best Buy, in particular, I don't think there is another model more plush/solid. I'm not even a Corsair fan; it's the first of their keyboards that I've liked. And I haven't even bothered to remap any of the keys. Anyways, cheers🤙.
Thanks for giving an accurate battery life amount. I looked everywhere but no one else said anything other than Corsairs stated 266 hours. Mine with rgb on lasts less than a day of light use. I bought from amazon so I'm getting a free replacement. Hopefully it lasts closer to the 60 hours that you said!

Does this work on custom coiled cables that have usb 2.0? The k65 plus i think requires usb 3.0
