thank you for this, totally underrated video! very no-nonsense, just gets to the point, love it. especially super grateful for the size comparison. i was considering the SF and was worried about the size primarily. for me, even a TKL got annoying (since im used to a laptop layout most of the time, i'm only ever using a full layout at work where i deal with numbers a lot), so i was worried that the SF would eat much more space than the mini. glad to see it's really only an inch longer! i'm also happy to see white sets reviewed here, so far all i've seen are black or custom keycaps. i think i'm probably going to get the SF, after weighing the pros and cons of the non-standard keycaps VS having dedicated arrow keys, i think i'll miss the arrow keys too much. i realised i'm not likely going to bother changing the keycaps anyway since they are already so high quality. your video has been of immense help! keep it up! :D
Thanks man! where I live I have the option for either of these and both have same price so I wasn't 100% sure about the no arrow keys but I did wanted super compact and couldn't really decide but after watching this vid I can clearly see the actual size of them both is fairly similar so most likely ill go for the arrow keys.

I got the khalli red variation and it had chattering problems, I changed it 3 times and problem still persist I got tired of it on going back to the store when clearly is the brand problem. My advice avoid ducky keyboards and go for razer or some other brand and good luck with those... ducky are flashy and nice looking keyboards but at the end of the day if u can't use it for the most standard functionality (writing) it turns into straight up trash. (chatter its fixable by cleaning every affected key which is more then half of the keyboard and extremely annoying to do)

I'm not a programmer so i'm unsure how often you use the arrow keys. If you use the arrow keys quite often, I would say the SF would be worth it. However if you only use them intermittently, then the Mini would be great. I personally would go with the SF, just because you do get a bit more functionality without adding much size at all, but the Mini is great. What about the One 3 SF? Just curious why you would rather go with a One 2 SF.

Bro can I fit razer's phantom keycaps in the ducky one 2 sf? From what I see in razer keycaps you get smaller sizes of Alt, Fn and Shift. Good video brother and I hope you can help me that I am new to this. 😁
Unlikely. I checked with a Razer rep and the shift keys included with that set are 1.75U, 2.25U, 2.75U. The size you need for the SF is 2U. I would search for "keycap sets with 2U shift" and see what you can find. I found some cheap sets from AliExpress and a decent set on KBDfans. The ducky keycap sets on mechanicalkeyboards.com usually have 2U shifts included as well (although not always).

Better? Depends on what you want. They are fundamentally the same, the SF just has a few more buttons and is slightly bigger. I think I prefer the tradeoff in size for the extra few buttons in my opinion...but if you value size more then go with the mini.
The spacing isn't different, but it is a slightly different layout. The right shift key is shorter, the right windows key is gone, alt is a 1u size etc. Doesn't really affect the typing experience in my opinion, but will matter if you are buying aftermarket keycaps. It is a little harder finding caps for the SF than the Mini.
i want the mini but only ones in stock is are white ones and i would prefer black but only sf in black is in stock so u think i should just get the sf?
The SF is a solid option...basically just a slightly larger mini. I'd pull the trigger unless you really just want the mini or being compact is the most important to you. It's about an inch longer than the mini. With that said, hopefully the mini in black comes back in stock soon.
I also got both keyboards. And I found out that my sf sounds way better than my mini despite them having the same switch type. Did they lube the new switch? Or it's just the mini got too old?
It's hard to say. I have both in the same switch type and they sound/feel almost identical. It is possible the switches are just a bit more broken in on one than the other but difficult to say.

These aren't pudding keycaps. These are actually the stock caps that come on the boards. It may just look like pudding caps because of the light emanating from around the other keys.
Not really, no. Both use the same modules and have the same build quality. I noticed a slight difference between these 2 and the ducky One 2 TKL, but between these 2 they are the same.

Yes. Hold down “Fn” and press J, K, L, I for the 4 arrow keys.

The SF has two extra LEDs in the space bar, so the lighting is more even. You can see the difference in the video.

Most are the same size. There are some that are different: the right shift key, right alt key, and no windows key on the right side.
