I just wanted to say I understand your pain. I also lost a child he was 6 years old. It's a wound that never heals. You just learn to live with it. Unfortunately life goes on and we must ride this wave called life until our day comes and we are reunited with our babies again. You are not alone in this. You can reach out to me if you'd like. Oh, I was just thinking about Bree's story after seeing the video where you shared how you care for her. Figured to look it up again, and I'm so sorry for your loss!
As a student going into the medical field, a concern I have is how patients recieve care. I really hope that one day the standard is raised to how you provided for her. Medical care would really move forward if more people took inspiration from you and Bree!!!
Thank you. Bree was such a gift. I miss her everyday. The world is not as bright with Bree gone. The hardest part was fighting for support and I believe it is because our society does not see the value in our hurt children. I talk about this on my Tedx talk. I really do not know if we will ever understand how blessed we are to have souls like Bree in our midst .
Bree may be gone, but her spirits will forever live on.
You never get over losing your child. You learn to cope as best you can.
I wish I could tell you how much I respect and admire the momma you were to Bree.
I’m so sorry for your continued agony and pain…it never really gets better, but you will accept one day.
GOD Bless the people that are taking care of you and giving you shelter and a soft place for you to land…God surely put them in your path.

Oh Wendy I want to hug you so tight right now! I needed to see this video right this very moment as well. I remember going to watch one of your videos 5 years ago and finding out Bree had passed away and it took my breath away and sobbed as if she were my own which sounds selfish but I could only imagine your pain and know one day it would be mine as well. My son Collin a hurt child died a year ago Christmas Eve of natural causes he was 27 nonverbal, non mobile severe CP and also the love of my life! I use to be on FB years ago Wendy and you were kind enough to friend me and offer your time and cell# to me to help me with my son and even though I didn’t and wish I had I want to thank you for being so giving of yourself to help me when your hands were full as well. I want you to know you are truly one of a kind and your videos helped us so much! Rebounding with Collin was great! He loved it especially with the mirror in front of us😉And Yesss it helped me poop too lol I could go on forever about how thankful I am for you and Bree even though we’ve never met I’m convinced she was angel and no coincidence I found you. I am crying just reading your comment. Thank you so much. Many times I do wonder if I am crazy to spend so much time , researching and sharing what I have learned and am still learning. The most I make from UA-cam is about 40 dollars a month, and it sure does not pay for much. So thank you for sharing with me as your story is why I am still here sharing and putting up with the mean comments and people creating fake channels. Collin and Bree were gifts to us. Really we were the lucky ones to get to spend time with them and be their moms.
I imagine Christmas is a challenging time for you as well. Probably always will be as it is the time they passed. Bree was January 5. I do not function well during this time anymore. Thank you Tonya. Thanks for sharing. There are so many parents needing emotional support. I think you have a great opportunity to use your channel for very informative and supportive videos to other caregivers! I am a caregiver, but my son’s disabilities are inside his brain (mental illness) and can’t be seen-which has its own issues. I hope that your channel gives you purpose and healing. Blessings ☮️

Bonjour Wendy, most glorious New Year to you. It is hard to believe it is 5 years already and my sincerer condolences always. Just wanted to say that you are an example of what I think a Mother is to be. It is 6 years now I am macrobiotic and your videos have helped me sssooo much from the beginning. Wendy, what you taught me through the videos was not just about the food ( but thank you ) but the viewing of the love and care you gave for your sick child.... I used your example to take care and love myself. I was the sick child and I learned how to Mother myself. I was sooo sick and you showed LOVE and perseverance and how you would stop at nothing to take care of Bree. I did that for me and you are surely for many others. God bless you .
I remember hearing about Bree's death. Can't believe it's been 5 years. She left at the perfect time. The world is unfortunately a worse place.
