  • Greens are the most nutritionally dense foods. Whenever you eat or drink something green you are alkalizing your body and building your blood. Greens are the most alkalizing food that exits on the planet.
    Leafy greens have the most bioavailable and assimilable proteins you can find.
    They are antiviral, antibacterial and anti mold.
    The greens are so bitter because of the abundance of nutrients in them and by the way they are an excellent source of protein.

    A quart of green smoothie is a tremendous injection of chlorophyll, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants. Consuming as much chlorophyll as possible is like bathing our inner organs in sunshine. The more chlorophyll we consume, the better our intestinal flora and overall health will be.
    Types of Leafy Greens
    Collards
    Kale
    Chard
    Beet Greens
    Turnip Greens
    Radish Tops
    Carrot Tops
    Italian Parsley
    Spinach
    Arugula
    Mustard Greens
    Asian Greens
    Dandelion Greens
    Mixed Greens (Super Greens)
    Sprouts
    Note: Beets Greens and Turnip Greens are more nutritious than the root.
    Recipe
    Flax Seeds for you Omega 3's. Start with 2 Tablespoons in Blender and grind up. Build up to 1/2 cup of whole flax seeds over time. Add chopped greens to 75% of blender. Add water to top level of greens about 20 ounces. Add fresh or frozen fruit. Greens are bitter, so put more fruit to sweeten if you are new to green smoothies. If not adding frozen fruit but fresh fruit then add some ice.
    Flax Seeds or Chia Seeds , Sea Veggies and Walnuts ( These are your Omega 3)
    - all contain potent anti-inflammatory properties that work at the cellular level.
    Omega 3 fatty acids are also an important part of the membranes of your cells.
    To get Omega 3's we mush eat them as the body cannot make them
    Most people are severely deficient in Omega 3's . We have too much of the Omega 6 's which are responsible for creating inflammation and causes our bodies to become massively inflamed and our health suffers.
    Yes, fish oils contain Omega 3's yet there is risk of contamination, mercury, saturated fats and sustainability issues associated with fish oil. Also organic whole Flax Seeds are so much cheaper than fish oils and no animal suffers.

    Hey Wendy! I just found your channel and along with the sentiments we ALL share - that I'm sorry for your loss and that you're such a strong woman and compassionate mother, I wanted to reach out and offer assistance (if you need it). I see you haven't posted in a while so went onto Facebook and was glad to see you're posting there and seem to be okay. I notice that on some comments your were saying you feel a bit lost, so I hope that if you're taking a break from UA-cam, it's because you're trying out new thing to find yourself again. Just wanted to say that if you're finding UA-cam or video making overwhelming or you have any questions about it, I'd be happy to answer them and assist however I can remotely. I may not be hip on the intricacies of UA-cam like some Gen Z creators are, but I'm a filmmaker in the more traditional sense of the word as well as a sound mixer in the film industry & film professor. I was really moved by your story and I especially connected to your relationship with your daughter. I think everyone deserves a mother like you, truly. I know this comment is unprompted and with some speculation, but I figure I'd reach out. I'm going to try out the exercises from your TRE video tomorrow morning to help me with my trauma and anxiety as well as follow some of your recipes to try to eat better! My ADHD makes it so that I hate cooking so I never do it, meaning that I resort to unhealthy frozen foods for 90% of my meals (not great, I know). Anyways, much love and I hope you're doing well!

    I love smoothies! Just started the video, but wanted to mention my recent go to, which is just a cucumber with some skin peeled off
    A couple frozen strawberries
    Keifer yogurt
    Wheatgrass juice powder
    And a drop of MCT coconut oil!
