Project Necromancer [4K HDR] - Star Wars: The Bad Batch
Вставка
- Опубліковано 25 лют 2024
- Doctor Hemlock meets with Palpatine inside the mysterious Mount Tantiss facility's most crucial inner chamber, as seen in Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3.
Wanted to get some 4K HDR samples up from Bad Batch Season 3 as well, though no set date for S3's cuts has current been determined. You know the drill. Keep an eye out.

What's really cool is they have Ian voicing the emperor.
They should've had him replace Ian Ambercrombie as his Clone Wars voice instead of Tim Curry (season 7 doesn't count because that was a pre-recorded line from ROTS)
@@sethmoss8671 Eh, Tim Curry was alright voicing Palpatine in the late seasons of Clone Wars.
@@CipherRage-tp5qlwasn’t Tim Curry always voicing Palpatine in TCW?
@@kalvin187douglasNo tim curry took over when Abercombie died. Season 5 i believe is when he took over voicing Palpatine.
Ian mcdiarmid?
In just one whole episode for a final season, they did what the Rise of Skywalker couldn’t contextualize in under two hours
I always find it funny how the Emperor always has bodyguards. We all know he doesn't need them if he were ever put in a dangerous situation.
I mean he is trying to keep his Sith identity secret xd
it's a sort of illusion. palpatine loves tricking and twisting everybody.
Its also probably a projection of his political power as well. Just to say "Look at me, I have all the power in the Galaxy"
Its a power thing. He has the strongest men of the empire with him to remind everyone who he is and how stupid it is to defy him.
@@thanoseid2883yep. Even the cane he had was just an accessory in rotj…
“Project Necromancer”… it sounds like the “Blackwing Virus”
It isn't, the emperor it's trying to clonate himself with his force powers on a younger body of himself to achieve immortality
No it's the Emperor's plan to clone himself, hence why the m count transfer needs to be successful
Project Necromancer is pretty much what Palpatine did in the old EU with his clones and the force technique of essence transfer which basically transfers his spirit and consciousness into another body, look up Dark Empire in which Palpatine returns
The Blackwing Virus and Project Necromancer are two different things
I get the feeling that even Dave Filoni hated the way the sequel trilogy was written and while he can't make that trilogy non-canon, he is at least trying to give it more sense, just like how he helped the prequels with The Clone Wars
I doubt it. As by that logic you could say he hated the PT because so many gaps were filled in with the clone wars.
This is just the same as that
Filoni doesn't write the bad batch
@@GonzaloAhumadaCastro-jr5sj he’s in charge, he oversees and makes all the dumb decisions
I think The Bad Batch may well be my most favourite.
Being able to see the glow of Palpatine’s eyes under his hood is a stroke of genius-it exalts him beyond humanity, perhaps as far as demonism, or even godhood; it’s a artistic element that not only distinguished him as a singularly iconic villain, but is simply so appropriate that it feels right despite never being seen in this way in live action. I’d be happy if Disney retroactively added this effect to all past Star Wars content-it’s THAT good-and yet, they’re something very poetic about it only being seen in this way after he becomes Emperor, and no longer must hide his true colors.
I think that this is emperor palpatine trying to clone himself
Exactly the project still mentioned in mandalorian Season 3, and that why we got Rise of Skywalker. Disney find their way to make thing right
It’s either himself or snoke
@@coffeelink943 Somehow Palpatine returned.
You know what I’m fine with this stuff connecting to the sequel trilogy since in the movies there’s not a lot of answers how Palpatine came back.
Take that Star Wars Theory.
All this effort, resouces, time and people only for Palpatine zap himself to death LMAO. They should be building up to another movie trilogy moving passed everything instead of wet fart which was Palpatines return.
To be fair just the line
‘The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural’ perfectly told us exactly how he came back.
@@obiwankenobi687 Something something dark side
@@rjofusetsudzin8011HAHAHHA this just had me dying
@@obiwankenobi687not after we see his physical body literally explode
0:43 I wonder if he was talking about the Zilo beast here.
I was re-watching this scene and I can't believe no one picked it up back then, but now it makes total sense. And I think you can hear the zillo beast screaming when they enter the vault.
@@ElQkes Good catch! I can definitely hear something when they entered the vault! We also see a big shadow across the room.
Do Nala Se and Hemlock know Palpatine is a Sith Lord based on the dark side experiments they’re doing? I mean the location of project necromancer literally looks like something straight out of hell
Hemlock definetly have an idea and loves her, since he already was a messed up scientist in the Republic time and now he can do his horrifying experiments without issues + a huge payment
It looks similar to the Sith Temple on Malachor from Rebels
Considering the project is named "necromancer" and the test subjects are all force sensitive, I'm sure he has connected the dots already lol
Hemlock is nuts lol
whether they know he is a Sith Lord or not is irrelevant. Hemlock sees a man who agrees with the kind of projects he is working on and is willing to make the most of this opportunity.
Thanks for keeping us informed, Mecha. I will keep an 'eye' out for updates. Anticipating great cuts for this season. The first three episodes warrant a cut in themselves, but we'll have to see how episode 4 continues or starts another arc (or both)."ontinues or starts another arch (or both).
I'm okay that Bad Batch and Mandalorian Season 3 are connecting to justify the Sequel Trilogy
Let them fix it and Star Wars will prevail better
Also with Rogue One. Project Star Dust mentioned at the end.
In my opinion, there is no fixing what's already out there. This show (And the questionable Season 3 of The Mandalorian) didn't added much to the bad writing of the sequels.
It's not a perfect franchise (I don't think it will ever be). But there is still so much we can enjoy from it.
No question that the Mandalorian season 3 and the sequel trilogy episodes 7-9 still are works of wonky, underwhelming, and extremely dubious writing decision
You know it's something important when everything is black with red strips everywhere
I was randomly looking for a YT video i watched yrs ago and stumbled across your channel. I saw links for all the hard work u do, and as life long star wars fan, who appreciates amazing editing and has always wanted the xtended editions combined with the movies, i just wanted to say i love you❤
Oh, also, combining the microseries w/the clone wars & ROTS is absolute gold and i cant wait to experience it😁
The look. The voice. The music. The darkness. The evil. The unlimited power.
The emperor knew about cloning himself
It’s probably snoke tho
For The Glory of The Empire.
so "m-count" is the amount of midi-chlorians, right? so the project itself would be the "production" of new bodies for the essence transfer of palpatine?
Also Cool and great Star Wars video part scene 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Does anyone else feel like hemlok cloned himself with the kids dna and somehow became snoke? no? Aight
I wanna see the specimens now
Wowie zowie
Hé is trying to make the sequels better
Wish we got to see this room get destroyed in the finale. But no.
I rewatched the episode and this place is behind the zillo beast containment
The music is so dark & erie… Something Alchemist or Daringer should sample 🥁🎹
We never saw this vault again, they just retconned it to white room with force sensitive kids in it, makes me sad.
Dave Filoni is a good director. But this was the first time he ended one of his shows badly.
There is nothing of GREATER IMPORTANCE to secure the future of this Empire. Tarkin: Redirect all funds to Project Stardust. UGH
@@ZombieN8YTHe actually didn't direct this one except the first episode if i am not wrong.
Its a other room not the same vault
@@gigachad3457 I don't think so, i can be wrong but the entrance is exactly the same. Plus they changed what Hemlock refers to by saying "specimens" too, in this scene he is talking about the clone in that tube, but after retcon he started to talk about children when he says specimens.
Now im wondering. If palpatine has all these clone resources to clone himself. Im sure we wont see the last of palpatine after rise of skywalker if they actually do a good sequel. Besides in the comics palpatine gets defeated so many times he still ends up coming back as a clone. It felt kind of dumb how they killed him off so fast again
Project is good idea but why called it necromancer instead of Lazarus?
People in the Star Wars universe wouldn’t know the tale of Lazarus.
suddenly midichlorians are cool now lol
What if it’s Joruus C’Baoth in the vat Palpatine looked into. Or even somehow a captured Yuuzhan Vong
I see you're desperate for more Legends. Guess what? No. Go read NJO
Pretty sure Joruus C’Baoth Disney canon is Snoke (a evil clone villain and also hinted to be a clone of a Jedi too) and pretty much like Kylo Ren/Ben solo is Jacen Solo/Darth caedus.
Yuuzhan Vong got changed into Grysks.
They can try to explain palpatine returning 100 more times, its still not gonna change the fact that Rise of Skywalker is one of the worst movies to ever exist
