Out off all the crazy shots we've seen Crosshair land, this one has to be the most impressive. He hit a pinpoint target from 20 meters away during a rainstorm with no scope after losing his shooting hand and being tortured for hours. And he was only able to do it because of Hunter's encouragement and his brotherly love for Omega. Imo this was an amazing climax for this episode.
Yes, that would have been epic pitting a Republic Commando-turned-Imperial Commando against two special clones having their own unique genetic enhancements. They would very likely be evenly matched combatants.

Hemlock appeared when it turned out Omega was instrumental in gettin Nala Se's co-operation, he was always there, just appeared when his goals intersected with the Bad Batch's goals. He were on the verge of figuring out how to clone force sensitive beings, which was currently believed to have been impossible, he held a clone of the Zillo beast inside of Tantiss, and he sent brainwashed conditioned clone assassins after important targets. Hemlock did more than enough remarkable things. SO much so, that had his research gone on undisturbed, Palpatine could have either gained an army of force sensitive super soldiers, or a ton of force sensitive clone bodies of himself as back-up in case he died. This could have happened maybe just a few years after the clone wars ended, rather than the 30-50 ish years it DID take. And finally, as you can even see in this very video, Hemlock gets shot several times, and then falls to his death. That is NOT an "off-screen death". There, I just rendered all your arguments invalid, now go watch the show next time.

Maybe the shot type was different too, something with high penetration to punch through the Commando armor and the ship's engines that's less effective on an unarmoured target if you don't hit a vital spot.

Also I'm not sure if people, like, always drop what they're holding when they get shot and killed, I think that might just be done for dramatic effect in films and stuff
If I see correctly, in real life, soldiers usually take position around the perimeter to look out for the enemy if they are trying to shoot it down during the helicopter extraction, but here, Scorch do not do that by watching their back.
Darn … I wish we got to see Project Necromancer completed. Also, it sucks that Hemlock died. He was one of the few competent villains in the SW universe. Like Admiral Thrawn, I like how he led with intelligence and didnt behave like a child. He was successful in capturing his targets, took the threat the bad batch posed seriously, and was a good strategist despite being a scientist (not a military leader).
Kinda ironic even because in Legends Tantiss was actually destroyed in 9 ABy, literally the same time period as The Mandoverse Here, it was destroyed and the project was taken down in only 18 BBy So is this implying that the reason they were still working on it around the time of the mandolorian was because The Bad Batch had essencially taken down the only doctor at the time to.do it
Plus i feel like the point of this was to show why it wasn't completed until after tbe events of The Mandolorian Just saying cause they basically suceeded after Sidious perished

It’s not from order 66, as we see in the AMAZING Republic commando novels, after losing Sev Scorch looses the lighthearted joking personality and becomes pretty harsh. “You’ll never replace him” “you’re only temporary” to the person who replaced Sev.
Scorch was taken by surprise by two commandos so I'm not shocked that he bit the dust. Also, the people saying he was done dirty, yeah I feel like Boss woulda been a more appropriate choice but you can EASILY headcanon that he just lost his sense of humour come the creation of the Empire or was experimented on by Hemlock.
That or his sense of humor was removed as part of his conditioning. The empire is about order and all that, scorch isn’t going to be joking around because the empire would’ve made sure he isn’t allowed to. You don’t see empire troopers and the like with humor like that.
It's also possible he survived since we never see his body hit the ground and we all know that in fiction, not seeing a body means he can still be alive. Plus, the commando armor has built in bacta tanks for on the go healing, those shots didn't seem to hit any vital organs or even penetrate his armor too deeply. It's entirely possible he survived and could be seen elsewhere later in the universe. Like the rest of his original squad goes in to recover him and find him still alive.

these are ex republic commandos, now Imperial Commandos. Their biggest strenght was their operational freedom. They could act as commandos. Now they can't which makes them only a little less effective than normal clones if not in perfect close quarters combat. We know this because in the battle of geonosis, the republic used many clone commandos only as normal infantry. Mace Windu leads a squad of clone commandos in normal clone armour (guess there weren't enough Katarn-classes ready) and he just used them as normal infantry. In imperial service, these commandos only act as Bodyguards in the imperial science division. Also you have to understand that the Bad Batch is meant to be superior to RC/IC, especially Hunter.

They were getting there asses kicked around the base. Scorch was keeping an eye on Hemlock. In real life, you focus on hour role, not fill too many.

Also this version of Scorch isn't the same one from the EU. In terms of canon his only other appearance was TCW where he did nothing.
