    Beautiful job on showing and telling us about your 73. I absolutely love the wheel covers and love how you brought your heritage into your ride with the tank and covers, that's using the nugget. It also gives it the Mad Max motorcycle look. Awesome video, and I'm glad you did it in ride style and still showed everything.... top notch job bro. 25 away from 1,000, it has been nice seeing your channel blow up! Keep up the excellent work!

      Thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. This was actually the most ambitious video I tried to take on since the Nami review video. It was really difficult to put it together but I wanted to really test everything that I’ve learned in the last 6 months 😅. I’m so happy you mentioned the Mad Max motorcycle vibe. That was one of the inspirations as to whit I went with the forged carbon kit. Also why I wanted to keep the front plate and added the Baja style headlights. I took that line out when editing because I wanted to see if someone would pick it up!
      Thanks man, we’re on our way 🫡🙏🏼

      thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Peter, glad you enjoyed the build!
      I always tell people that as long as they know what to expect on the S73s it will be an enjoyable ebike to own. While other companies are straddling the line of legally grey ebike/ emotorcycle, I appreciate that they stuck to the keeping the S73 line up legal. 30-33mph is perfect for my use case but if you need more its probably best to just get an M endorsement on the license and get a proper eMoto! If we end up moving out of NYC, I hope to own a proper eMoto one day so that we can add it to the fleet!

      I wish that they had a variety of mod panels for the Ariel Rider series bikes.
      I just swap the café style racer handlebars out on mine with a bmx style.
      Tbh, I love the café style more because they give the bike more of a café motorcycle racer style appearance.
      However, due to serious back issues, I had no choice. I'm switching out motor hubs when my finances allow
      Although I'm a much older gent compared to you young cats. I do love and have a 'need for speed."
      I saw a guy on her mod his where it maxed out at 72 mph 😳 WOW!! I MEAN, DUDE WAS ACTUALLY PASSING VEHICLE ON HIGHWAY LANES 😃😆😂🤣
      Of course, ppl would say, "Why not just purchase a motorcycle?" Given HIGH GAS PRICES vs the smooth QUIET RIDE electric bikes give, dare I mention freedom from gas and oil fumes combine spark plugs, NOISE etc..

      Hey Eddie, thanks for watching this video as well. I appreciate ya. I'm glad you liked it because I'm quite happy with how it came out! There are a few mods that I haven't done yet because of the potential PEV ban in my building, but we'll save that conversation for another time. haven't done any rides with the youtube fam yet because my work schedule is pretty crazy and my days off are pretty erratic right now. Thats why I generally do my most of my content on my commute to and from work. However, I have been trying to make more of the events in NYC like the All Electric Meet Up on Wednesdays and the upcoming Richmond Riders group ride this Sunday.
      As my schedule settles down, I hope that I can link up with the UA-cam Fam and ride. But I'll definitely let you know when that happens because I've gotten requests to host S73 rides and Nami rides.

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  8 місяців тому +1

      thanks for watching the video and welcome to the channel Victor! It really depends on the set up. If you're planning to mod the feel and the ride your bike yourself, get yourself a base R or s2 and just add the mods you want to make it look/ ride the way you like. If you're planning on just keeping it stock and not modding at all, go for an RX because it already comes loaded with the fenders, the 4 piston brakes, and lights. In my opinion, the front and rear suspensions are necessary for NYC but I know people that tell you to save the money and just run softer PSI on the tires on the S2. My advice would be to get the best set up with in your budget. If you want to do a test ride, you can do so at LastMile NYC where I got my RX.

    Thank you for your video! Really awesome mods.
    One question I have that is unrelated to these mods, is how did you place your lavalier microphone inside your helmet? I am thinking of starting to record Super73 vlogs on my 2nd channel, and I've done a couple test rides, with an Insta360 and a GoPro, as well as a lavalier mic that I have inside my Shoei Neotec 2 but when I listen to the audio I've recorded, it always seems like I am clipping. It's probably too close to my mouth. I wonder what is the best position for the mic inside a helmet? Your audio sounds pretty clean to me so you must know some tricks to make it work :D

      @eyebahnrides  Рік тому +1

      Hey Ilya, thanks for watching the video! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏼👊🏼🫡.
      The mic positioning actually took me about a few months of testing to get the best sound. I have it clipped to the bottom of the helmets and off to side. I make sure the mic is pointed forward. If you have it too close to the middle, it sounds like the mic is getting blown out when you speak and you can awkwardly hear every breath. If it’s too far back, it scratches against my beard when I talk and it sounds staticky. I hope this helps!

    I recently got a nasty flat and saw a ton of positive reviews for the Huntsman tires from emoped riders but also some negative impressions. • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  9 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for watching the video Kahn, I appreciate ya! I love my Huntsman tires. It's been 6 months since I had them installed and I've loved every minute of it. The only con that I can think of is it's heavier than the original GRZLY tires that come with the RX because of the lining and the thicker rubber. Technically it's supposed to affect range and acceleration, but personally didn't even notice a difference. The only thing that I've noticed is it added 2mph to my top speed lol. After I did the torque update, my top speed dropped from 31-33 down to 29-31. After I switched to these, I'm back to 31-33. They're also more comfortable because of the smoother thicker tread. The only thing I didn't like is 4in width narrower than my stock tires which were 4.5 and 5 inch. I've put almost 500 miles on them now and they look brand new. I think these things can last for thousands of miles. Just note that I don't skid when braking and I don't do burn outs, I just do commutes/ group rides/ and long solo joy rides. If the weather wasn't so crappy the last couple of months I'd have more miles on the tires/RX.
      I hope this helps!

      I’m surprised that you gained more speed thanks to these tires but I guess it depends on the bike and how well the tires are seated. @@khanrides You're welcome! I got mine installed by a bike shop in Queens that have done great work on my bikes before. They seated it perfectly and did it on the spot. They cost a bit more but they always do it right. The Kenda Krazes are good tires because they feel smooth like PMTs on scooters but they don't have that thicker rubber with the puncture protection on the inside. I do like the way they run ( i tried them on a few Spark Bandits) but I don't have enough miles on them to make an official opinion lol.

      thanks for watching. As stated in the video, no performance modifications were done to the Super73 as I'm quite happy with the performance of the bike. I like the chill ride of the class 2/ class 3 e bike. If I want more power, I'll ride my scooter or I'll buy a proper motorcycle. All the mods that were done were done for comfort, range, and aesthetics.
      Hopes this helps clarify the video

I have a road bike hybrid to pedal, I wouldn't be pedaling much, I'm pretty sure it be hard to pedal, with no pedal assist. I want cast or one piece wheels on my next ebike, and not a folder. @eyebahnrides  Рік тому +1

      Hey Donovan, thanks for watching the video. I appreciate ya. At this point with the current pricing, honestly, I don't know if I would get the RX Mojave or the new RX Adventure. I really like the Super73's design and I love the community, however, the current prices have gotten pretty crazy at $4000. At that price, I would be considering the new Lyric Grafitti, Onyx CTY 2, or even a high end pedal assist only e-MTB from Specialized.

      @@markdandan6047 You're very welcome. The registration isn't really that big of a deal. I would just reach out to them and give them a friendly nudge to move it along. S73 is definitely better at being family friendly. I'm not sure how it is over there, but law enforcement are cracking down on the "e-dirtbikes", so I know a few people that are worried about it!

    Soon they will banning these ebikes from bike paths. They are really motorized scooters or small electric motorcycles.

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  10 місяців тому

      These class2 and 3 e-bikes like s73 and zooz are ok. NYC actually just allowed us to ride on the greenways and bike lanes as long as you’re following the flow of traffic around you. I think the ban hammer is coming for emotos and edirt bikes like talaria/ surron / rcr. Though I’d hate to see that happen because I know people that spent thousands upon thousands on their emotos and edirt bikes, I feel that it’s inevitable because we’re seeing a country wide crackdown on them

    hi kuya just want to ask what is the specific height to ride that super73 RX? I'm 5'4 in height do u think I can drive that bike comfortably? u know the traffic here in PH is very terrible and I have to stop at traffic and I have to stand on the ground for awhile.. do u think 5'4 is enough to stand on while on the traffic?

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  7 місяців тому

      Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel! I believe the seat height is 31 inches or 80cm. That might be a bit tall depending on how long your legs are. However, I have an acquaintance in California who rides an RX and she’s 5ft tall. She was able to find a shorter suspension for the back that dropped the the height. I think she’s working on getting a shorter fork as well. I don’t think you’ll need to do that but it can work out.
      Yea, I remember the traffic. Last time we were there it took us 3 hours to get from Solaire to our place in Mandaluyong. Getting around there in anything other than 2 wheels is insane lol

    I built a 48 volt 20ah -1500 watt
    26'' fat tire snow bike
    all from Amazon for a $1,000 bucks..
    And I don't pedal it either
    Average top speed is 33mph
    (have had it up to 36 mpg)
    I'm putting another battery on it to double the mileage
    $300 26''Ffat Tire Bike
    $300 1500 watt motor
    $400 48v 20ah battery
    to see it check the video on my page

    You have less expensive options

      thats pretty awesome. All this reminds of building gaming computers back in my days. I could build a super computer for half the cost of my friends Alienwares. It did take alot of time, effort,, and research to learn how to do it well and it was really rewarding to do so. I can see how it would be fun do build an eBike and how it would be much more cost effective. In the future, when I move out of NYC and have a garage this is probably something I'll attempt. For now, I really enjoy S73 and their community so I'll hang out with them for a bit longer!
      Congrats on the build!
