The Dalek Civil War seen in Remembrance of the Daleks proves that the Doctor is correct that once the Daleks do exterminate all life in the universe, they will just turn on each other over the smallest imperfection they have.
*an emotional and thought provoking speech about the illogical and imperfect nature of the daleks, how they will only turn on themselves in the end* WE ARE THE DALEKS! WE LIKE TO DO WRONG!!!
The way the Dalek gurgles and chokes is about the closes we'll ever get to a Dalek's crying. It knows the Doctor's right and can only wither in agony. It's tragic how it stops that the SECOND it gets an order.
It’s this Dalek learning the futility of his mission that made me see this drama as superior to eccelston episode. And until that realization it was my favorite of the ninth doctor episodes.
I feel like Big Finish took it upon themselves to give Colin Baker the best avenues of gripping storytelling to make up for the perception of how silly his stories on TV were. I wouldn't know if they were, though.

They couldn't even wait until their main enemies were dealt with before fighting. As if the Daleks weren't enough of a critique on fascism

I wonder why didn't Rob Sherman became the next showrunner
I want him over Chris chibnall.
Listen to "My own private Wolfgang" it explains why Shearman is working on Doctor Who anymore.
Galactic yo yo I don’t *quite* see it - is it because he doesn’t want his work to be imitated poorly?
Soarel he would rather be remembered for a handful of masterpieces than a massive number of mediocre pieces of work.

"In succeeding, I lost all purpose"
What I was up with those uhhh, those singing daleks then?
They where from an alternant universe where Daleks are like a early 90s kids cartoon villain.
They where from an alternant universe where Daleks behave like early 90s kids cartoon villains.
The Dishonored Coward that sounds like a really fun universe!
@@GreaterGrievobeast55 Sorry neither of those posting attempts showed on my end after which I gave up.
The Dishonored Coward your fine!
Were the FUCK did the signing daleks come from
Don't be fooled, they're just dwarfs in fake cases.
They are enslaved Dwarves who were forced into Dalek props, and left to be forgotten in storage rooms.
@@robotx9285 ah.. thanks
Daleks do not sing
There’s always a first time for anything.
That's for sure.
