Despite confirming that he has no weapons or no plans, the sheer fact that he is still going to try to save Rose scares the Daleks. If you are scared of the Daleks, then you most certainly should fear an angry Doctor.
Every doctor was a powerhouse in their own rights, but it takes balls of titanium to talk back to Daleks and have them reel back in response. Damn do I ever love the Ninth Doctor
When Amy asks the Dalek if it was an alien, it never said yes or no, just that it was a soldier. I think when the Doctor lowered his head, he realized the same thing and knew that the Dalek was dodging the question
I really wish Christopher Eccleston could have gotten more than a single season. He was such a good Doctor, totally badass, but yet also hurting and flawed. A wounded man who was just looking to escape it all, but ended up being thrown right back into it all, having the will to keep going even though it was breaking him even harder. I admit, it was nice concept that Nine "died" when all the Daleks did, to try and show that that page of history had finally turned and that the Doctor could move on with Ten, but of course it was undermined. Really, everything RTD did was undermined and changed as time went by. As such, I wish Eccleston could have stayed. I wish all the nonsense that drove him away didn't take place. I wish that he could have been the Doctor in the Time War. I wish a lot of things turned out differently.
"PUT IT IN THE CURRY!" 😂 Seriously, no "Daleks being iconic" clip should leave out the speech at the end of GENESIS OF THE DALEKS. "THEY SURVIVED THROUGH ME" still gives me chills.
Or: 'Align and advance!, advance to attack!, attack and destroy!, destroy and rejoice!' Or the time a Dalek pointed out that the fluid link was clearly advanced technology, and the others didn't understand that meant the Doctor and his companions were not Thals. A major blunder...
Question: How many times has the Doctor tried knocking one of them over? He's frequently gotten close enough, and it would dramatically slow them down.
The Big Finish audios have some great Dalek moments as well. A small one I love from Blood of the Daleks is when one of the other characters has indicated that they've encountered him, it's uttering of "Doctor..." just sounds exasperated. Like, in this story their mission had been going badly enough, and then who should turn up but the last person they ever want to see 🤣
Does anyone else find them totally cute? 😂 not just the little R2D2 looking boxes but the way they talk in that high posh voice that kind of sounds like everything is a question? “The fleet is almost ready? You will not intervene? Or she will be exterminated?” Lmao
Yes, I have adored them since I first seen them, they are such adorable little killing machines, I just love when they show up no matter how bad the episode is. 😄
They were probably too stunned by him doing something so out of character. For centuries, they've fought him, so they think they know everything about him, then he just pulls the rug out from under them
I can't decide which is better: seeing a dalek say "exterminate" through soundproof glass or acting cordial and saying "would you like some tea?" Both are hilarious dalek moments. Happy 60th to the Doctor!!
Daleks tend not to talk about when they have a lack of information, and they also don't talk about when they know something the other side don't. In their first story, they find the Doctor's fluid link, realise he is not a Thal local with no access to higher technology, and don't tell him they know, later keeping and feeding the Doctor and his companions, even letting them use the anti-radiation drugs they want so much. Dalek's didn't use to be so stupid as they are made to be now.
I don't watch Doctor Who much, but that one line always gets me: "...you would make a good Dalek." Really gives a perspective that no matter how helpful and supportive The Doctor is, there's still that bitter hatred within them that makes them surprisingly similar to the race they try protecting the universe from. Gives the scene some real weight as past actions get called into consideration.
I can't watch the whole identify yourself scene with a straight face anymore. Once the Cyberman says "You have identified as Daleks." I just hear the Dalek saying "Oh bugger!"
It's amazing to put into perspective just how powerful the Time Lords were, that just one is able to terrify hundreds of Daleks. He might be a particularly remarkable Time Lord, but still, he's only one guy with a battered and outdated vehicle. For a comparison by human standards, he's basically a special forces veteran with an old deuce and a half. Imagine what the Time Lords were capable of at their peak
13:34 Doctor Capaldi going "What the fuck...am I HEARING things right with my Gallifreyan Time Lord ears?" when he heard that a Dalek wants to EX-TER-MI-NATE his own brothers! Best scene ever! Threw the Doctor for a loop!
Not sure if it was intentional or not but at 5:40 when they were bringing up an alliance, it cuts to the doctor swallowing under his breath, and I think it adds a but more tension to the thought of them working together.

Especially since they now come in different colours… So funky
THAY: "Daleks do not take orders."
CYBERMAN: "You have identified as Daleks."
*1 point for the Cybermen*
SEC: "Long range scans confirm the presence of crude cybernetic constructs on worldwide scale."
*1 point for the Daleks*
CYBERMAN: "Our species our similar, though your design is inelegant."
THAY: "Daleks have no concept of elegance."
CYBERMAN: "This is obvious."
*5 points for the Cybermen*
CYBERMAN: "Hostile elements will be deleted."
(Dalek Thay ignores all shots then effortlessly retaliates)
*1 point for the Daleks*
CYBERLEADER: "Daleks, be warned. You have declared war upon the Cybermen."
SEC: "This is not war. This is pest control."
*2 points for the Daleks*
CYBERLEADER: "We have five million Cybermen. How many are you?"
SEC: "Four."
CYBERLEADER: "You would destroy the Cybermen with four Daleks?"
SEC: "We would destroy the Cybermen with one Dalek."
SEC: "You are superior in only one respect."
CYBERLEADER: "What is that?"
SEC: "You are better at dying."
*5 points for the Daleks*
Cybermen: 6
Daleks: 9
Daleks really are superior.
heh. nice
Nice.
So during what im calling the Dalek-Cyberman war did the humans…help the daleks? Or the cybermen?
@@RexPlaysYTRblx I think the humans ran the f*ck away from the daleks and cybermen, or died, or got cyberman infested.
11:45 Still the greatest thing a Dalek has ever said. 😂
This is why the daleks are one of my favorite characters
Sameeee!
Despite confirming that he has no weapons or no plans, the sheer fact that he is still going to try to save Rose scares the Daleks.
If you are scared of the Daleks, then you most certainly should fear an angry Doctor.
The daleks are scared cuz he dosnt have a plan, so he cant be predicted
6:08 The “P” in Pest is pronounced really good here
11:35 I love that they just went "Fuck it lets have the Dalek play the most pathetic game of spy ever"
"Its not war. Its pest control."
Every doctor was a powerhouse in their own rights, but it takes balls of titanium to talk back to Daleks and have them reel back in response. Damn do I ever love the Ninth Doctor
The spat between the Cybermen & Daleks is just legendary.. so funny..
Gotta love how the Daleks vs Cybermen is really just a roasting match between the two species
the cybermen dalek interaction is just... perfection
They should have done more with Sec, such potential.
100% agree
Hahah missed out daleks of manhattans ‘you asked us to imagine so we imagined you were irrelevant’
Ohhhh I forgot about that one!
The part where a Dalek told The Doctor they would commit Genocide on their own race left me speechless
I love how you managed to take some of the most terrifying moments from modern who and managed to make me laugh
the exchange between the Daleks and Cyberman is pure GOLD!!!!
Doctor: Deep in your DNA there's one little spark left......and that's fear.
Dalek: I think I released some fear.
"PUT IT IN THE CURRY!" 😂
Seriously, no "Daleks being iconic" clip should leave out the speech at the end of GENESIS OF THE DALEKS.
"THEY SURVIVED THROUGH ME" still gives me chills.
Or: 'Align and advance!, advance to attack!, attack and destroy!, destroy and rejoice!'
Or the time a Dalek pointed out that the fluid link was clearly advanced technology, and the others didn't understand that meant the Doctor and his companions were not Thals.
A major blunder...
Question: How many times has the Doctor tried knocking one of them over? He's frequently gotten close enough, and it would dramatically slow them down.
😂 😂
Sometimes the answer to a complicated question is very simple
A Daleks base is too wide and it’s likely a thousand pounds at least.
@Grandaldore 1. Daleks can move. 2. Good luck hitting one without getting shot.
I think in the earlier version of Doctor who the doctor literally bench pressed one and tossed it away from it or that could have been a blooper
I dunno if a time-traveller touching one of these post-Time War Daleks is a good idea, just to knock it over.
The Big Finish audios have some great Dalek moments as well. A small one I love from Blood of the Daleks is when one of the other characters has indicated that they've encountered him, it's uttering of "Doctor..." just sounds exasperated. Like, in this story their mission had been going badly enough, and then who should turn up but the last person they ever want to see 🤣
“It stops right now!”
“ELEVATE.”
**Ultrakill intro theme**
2:56 me and the boys when we see a fly
6:06, That was so out of left field
10:10, LOL
11:45, Still cracks me up to this day
The ‘Would you care for some tea?!’ got me 💀🤣🤣
8:20 “My vision is not impaired, hostility will not be tolerated exterminate, exterminate, exterminate”.
12:09 "Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah! No scans, no nothing." - 11th Doctor (Matt Smith)
"DALEKS HAVE NO CONCEPT OF ELEGANCE"
"This is obvious"
Daleks can be sassy, but the Cybermen have their moments too.
The conversation between the two cybermen and the Dalek reminds me of Dad’s Army more specifically the “don't tell him Pike” scene
Does anyone else find them totally cute? 😂 not just the little R2D2 looking boxes but the way they talk in that high posh voice that kind of sounds like everything is a question?
“The fleet is almost ready? You will not intervene? Or she will be exterminated?”
Lmao
Yes, I have adored them since I first seen them, they are such adorable little killing machines, I just love when they show up no matter how bad the episode is. 😄
11:52 Melted my heart right there.
The Daleks and Cybermen interacting sums up the start of nazi and soviet hostilities in WWII.
Right down to the "no concept of elegance" jab. Germans are obsessed with elegant design, while Russians love brutal efficiency
Considering that the Daleks were based on the Nazi's and the Cybermen on the USSR....
Human: Great big alien death machine, defeated by a flight of stairs!
Dalek: *INITIATING PRO GAMER MOVE*
“ELE-VATE!” *SWOOOOOOO*
@@kamipollna225 "dalek69420 has changed dalek69420's game mode to creative"
God i forgot the elagance of the Daleks when war is declared is unparalleled even still a decade from then.
2:41 imagine the Daleks just turning around and vaporizing her
They were probably too stunned by him doing something so out of character. For centuries, they've fought him, so they think they know everything about him, then he just pulls the rug out from under them
*"WOULD YOU CARE FOR SOME TEA?!"*
I can't decide which is better: seeing a dalek say "exterminate" through soundproof glass or acting cordial and saying "would you like some tea?" Both are hilarious dalek moments. Happy 60th to the Doctor!!
1:56 The way everyone turns their heads . Chilling.
6:02 is the best Darlek moment ever! So many burns at once.
How can they not tell that’s just a biscuit sometimes daleks can be so dense 😂😂
That's not just any old biscuit. It's a Jammy Dodger! 😂
They’re Daleks, they wouldn’t recognize human stuff. In fact the new Daleks recognize that it isn’t a self destruct device within minutes
I think the Daleks were more focused on understanding human military structure than they were on understanding human snacks
DALEKS HAVE NO CONCEPT OF BISCUITS
Daleks tend not to talk about when they have a lack of information, and they also don't talk about when they know something the other side don't.
In their first story, they find the Doctor's fluid link, realise he is not a Thal local with no access to higher technology, and don't tell him they know, later keeping and feeding the Doctor and his companions, even letting them use the anti-radiation drugs they want so much.
Dalek's didn't use to be so stupid as they are made to be now.
I don't watch Doctor Who much, but that one line always gets me:
"...you would make a good Dalek."
Really gives a perspective that no matter how helpful and supportive The Doctor is, there's still that bitter hatred within them that makes them surprisingly similar to the race they try protecting the universe from. Gives the scene some real weight as past actions get called into consideration.
Favorite word in the Dalek dictionary “ EXTERMINAT ”
The Elevate moment.
It maintained eye contact.
Such badass
6:07 That roast… legendary.
Darleks are so cool. One of the best enemies ever. Those videos of people making actual darlet cosplays that move and voice change are sick.
I love the Daleks, the voices and sound effects, especially in series 1-4.
Imagine toilet training a Dalek...
*DEF-E-CATE! UR-IN-ATE!*
😂🤣
and it can unplug the toilet afterward
doctor threatens daleks with a biscuit
that was very funny
4:21 is so memeable
I can't watch the whole identify yourself scene with a straight face anymore. Once the Cyberman says "You have identified as Daleks." I just hear the Dalek saying "Oh bugger!"
This isn’t war this is cyber bullying
5:43 The Doctor started s**ting himself there for a moment hearing the concept of a Dalek-Cybermen Alliance
Everyone gangsta until a Dalek Elevates.
I love the actors who play the daleks they do it so well it must be fun riding around in one of those suits
Daleks: But you have no weapons, no defences, no plan!
Doctor: Yea, and doesnt that scare you to death?
Daleks : *welp we fucked*
6:08
"This is not war, this is pest control."
Hands down one of the funniest things said by the Daleks.
0:57 Dalek has changed to creative mode
"a sonic probe?" Secs curiosity got the better of him 😂
Not sure if it was intentional or not but at 5:40 when they were bringing up an alliance, it cuts to the doctor swallowing under his breath, and I think it adds a but more tension to the thought of them working together.
The first showing of the Daleks in the William Hartnell Dr Who era early 60’s sent me behind the sofa to hide!!
