I love their stuff! We have it on out '74 Z/28. High quality.
Awesome! This is my first time with this company, but I got awesome customer supports
Easy on the scale. The hard part is paying for it but man it’s going to be worth it
Once again Joe you're illustration is right on....
Thanks brother
Not an easy job but he found the right man to do it.
I appreciate that. Fun part is next!
Joe Kickin A$$ , AGAIN!😎
Thanks buddy
This will be a must view series, watched another channel ( can’t remember who) but they struggled with doing this install. Thanks for showing us
Thanks for the support! Mounting the box is the fun part. I have it in. Need to get that footage edited.
That's going to be nice.
Good job explaining everything Joe.
Take care, Ed.
Thanks buddy! This one was a breeze. The fun begins next time
Nice A/C mounting system for the newer style compressors.
On the block-hugger headers- had to weld build mine- ports in headers flange did not match the ports in the heads, so header gaskets blow out.
Ground to match ports, used large woodworking belt sanding table to get flange flat.
Thanks for the heads up, Dan. I will check them against the gaskets. I may be safer here, as this engine has 318 heads and smaller exhaust ports.
Great video Joe.
Thanks Chris!
Looks good. Nice and clean.
Thanks John. More to come!
Looking good. Can’t wait to see it in the car
Thanks Buddy! I started easy.
That is a really clean setup. Vintage Air is in San Antonio, but I might i have to check out Classic Air. Good Job Joe!
Thanks Duddie! Sweet Air
This is one of the last things on my to do list on my 72 Demon refresh. All my cars have always had AC. But the Demon does not. After 50 years I want AC on it. This looks really good. Thanks for showing this. !!
Thanks for the support brother
Some good info, Joe!
Thanks brother!
Great vid , learned a lot , thank you !
Thanks for watching! More to come soon
Good video Joe !
Thanks buddy! I started with the easy part first. The fun starts next time!
Looks great Joe! I put one on a 73 340 cuda a few years back, it worked out pretty well. I'd sure use one again!👍
Thanks for sharing, Mitch!
Looks like it's nicely planned out
I was pleased with it. I’ll have to drop in that engine before running my lines soon!
Looks like a nice kit. I may use that for my truck!
Yea buddy!
Pretty cool 😎
Thanks John. Easy start. The fun begins now
Wish they would make one to mount the compressor lower so it doesn't stick out and hide the top of the engine, like down by the power steering pump or under the alternator, they just don't look good in the middle of the engine on top but that's just. my opinion and we all know what they say about opinions, anyway it's looking like it will be very sturdy and functional
That’s true. I think I can fabricate some mounts for a lower compressor, but definitely for something of my own. This was too easy and smooth to pass up.
I just did an install on my SB Mopar in a Ford Galaxie. I felt the same way. Fabbed up my own mounts and set it lower on the drivers side. Results were good but it was time consuming of course. My motor is tunnel rammed and aesthetics under hood are important to the car.
Looked to be pretty straightforward.
Yea buddy! If you need to email me, I’m at justmoparjoe@gmail.com.
Adding a Vintage Air to my 440, the 22" radiator had a center outlet which interfered with the compressor. Ended up finding another core support and 26 radiator with side outlet.
I appreciate that information. I’m probably going with an aluminum eBay radiator. I’ve had super great luck with them.
Now that’s a nice kit, I used vintage air kit and it seems just as ez as this one….
Awesome! I think that’s what’s on my challenger. Whichever was less expensive at the time 😅
Cool looks to work well, is there any reason they couldn't mount it at a lower point?and is that where the original compressor is mounted? looks like it's guna be a great build, all the best to you and your loved ones
I remember seeing the aftermarket kits of the past mounted very similarly. On the 87 dodge truck “red sled”, I had to actually add a 2” piece of flat metal to raise the compressor to clear the intake, but it was nearly the same place.
Thank you , I will keep this video for later after I put the engine in truck, so I need to change the water pump then but can I use water pump or put air condition again? Thanks again
It’s for stock water pump
Setup looks nice but I would rather go with March set-up
Thanks Anthony. There are certainly nicer pulley sets out there, but this one is good old tried and true.
Way does small block have two brackets for the Alternator and the big block only has one bracket for the kits ?
I’m not sure on that. Call them and ask. Pretty good customer support!
@@JustMoparJoe thank you !
Can this be installed on engine with performer rpm intake?
I’m sorry, I’m really not sure. Check out the channel “my next project”. He has lots of good AC videos and mopar content.
