- Hi friends! On this episode we're continuing to take apart our old home on wheels while also putting back together the engine - lots of moving parts going on! We're on the home stretch now, let's hope we can get this restoration done soon so we can hit the road again.
See you on the next one,
Kendall and Glenn

You’ve got skills. What a great build.
When you consider that most people take years to restore older vehicles your doing an amazing job at an amazing pace, every day puts you a little closer to where you want to be, great job guys, 👍❤️
By the time you finish the project, you will probably have the best Series Land Rover in Australia.
This is an amazing amount of work. If you two can last through this gigantic project you two are soul mates for life. Good On ya! And I hope it continues to be a manageable mess. When you are done you can be so proud of this vehicle I bet you never sell her.
What you're doing is quite excellent lovely and neat . Congratulations.
Man o man,I would not know where to start. You guys are amazing.
Well done, fascinating to watch
Hats off to you Glen!
Marty from Perth
I underestimated how much prep work was involved too. Just got to zone out while doing it.
That’s great to watch. Makes me want to get stuck into my defender.
When is the next one coming to us!!! Living vicariously through your build!
Great video and a super classy job .. .. .. .. wish I had you as my neighbor ! ha ha ha ha
Great job guys. Really good episode and editing. Take your time and do it right. I’m 60 and so so jealous I didn’t do it at your age. You will look back in 30 years and think yeah we nailed it let alone what your kids and grand kids think
Very nice glad you pushed through the hard bits and didn’t cut corners top work enjoy
I'm in awe of your determination to get the job done. Nigel won't know himself when you're finished.
At a moment I thought you were making a Flintmobile from the Flintstones😂 But honestly, you guys are doing a great job. It will al be worth it. Good luck and I keep following the whole process. Greetings from the Netherlands.
He’s going to look amazing
Top job of everything.
Bravo!
Lovely color for the engine 👍
Wow I'm so excited to see some surfing shoots in next video! Great job with the vehicle!
You are doing such a great job guys it will, look so darn good when it's all finished glad your having a little break before you tackle the rest❤
I have a 109 same age and color. My Series has a 2.25 diesel that I rebuilt myself, about ready to reinstall it. You guys are going gangbusters and it’s fun to watch! Just a helpful suggestion, you should cover up your engine with a garbage bag, an old sheet, something. This will prevent any grinding grit or crap from getting in to your fresh engine through the intake or exhaust ports. Subscribed and following along!
Thanks for the heads up! Best of luck with your rebuild too :)
Awesome vlog, I would be going spare by now. Hope you are able to take some mental health moments down at park beach or similar.
This landy when it is done will be a beast
I love that shot of you both sitting there with no front end 🤣 And wow, all way too complicated for me. Kudos to you both.
New engine looks brilliant! Is that the genuine Land Rover colour?
Thanks mate! Yes the original 2.25l engines were painted in the classic "duck egg blue".
@@KendallandGlenn wonderful.
Is Glen a mechanic or similar, or is he just incredible at everything he does ?
Prior to owning Nigel Glenn knew nothing. All the information is out there, just gotta spend a lot of time looking for it and having a crack. haha It certainly hasn't been easy
@@KendallandGlenn incredible.
Well done 👍👍👍❤❤❤
you're doing a magnificent job on that
My 78 fj40 windshield came out in pieces to. It was one of the things I had a professional reinstall
Are you just gonna replace the whole bulkhead? That looked pretty roached.
Yes we are. hahahah. Brand new galvanised one thankfully!
Where are your horses ?
We thought the same thing! hahaha
