That long conflict predated American involvement in Chad regarding ghadafi influence in that country. Yoi have to go back the pre independence Era between the south mostly educated and Christian and the north and east, mainly pastoral and very rural. I have lived in Chad working for a Canadian NGO's. Nothing in that County is black and white. To this da, that dynamic between Christians and Muslims are still there to lesser degree because of Idriss Déby who was a moderate Muslim and often a class of whiskey time to time.

Habre reminds me a lot of Nicolae Ceausescu:
-Both were regarded as opportunists who only used ideology as a means to acquire power.
-Both had the ability to appear weak and passive, and thus able to trick friends and foes alike into underestimating them
-Both were extremely ruthless and brutal
    -Both were raging narcissists
-Both cut deals with the US to boost their power and influence
-Both were cruel tyrants who oppressed, starved and abused their subjects while having the nerve to demand literal worship from them
-Both used their Secret Police as a private army/spy service and gave them total power to terrorize their subjects

We still have the carved animals my husband bought ( to help support him and his family.). Thank you for this video. Love and Respect to Africa from India 🇮🇳🙏
Africa and India both have seen genocides by Islamic terrorists and White colonial dogz. China is using Africa for resources, India is helping our brothers with free vaccines, Motorcycle manufacturing plants and other infrastructure. Take care stay true to African roots and don't trust Chinese

lots of Indian live with the dogs in the UK , Canada and US. Indians have been voted in to the dogs parliament. I'm saying this as a Ugandan who has worked for Indian companies and at times they were no better than a dog . I like Indian people and was alive when they were thrown out of Uganda, but they came back . Not all white or Indian are dogs , and I support Indians against the communist Chinese. Indians born in Uganda are also Ugandan and my fellow citizens.

Gadaffi did NOT want to expand Lybian borders. He tried, unsuccessfully to form a union of Nort African countries in The Gund. It was initially agreed to by Lybia, Egypt, Chad and Morocco. In the end it was sabotaged by Western, former colonial interests and their local operatives.
