I wish each Congolese to enjoy their rich land and show the world they can manage their resources by themselves without the outsiders

Congo has a huge potential as an investment destination. How can juices be imported from Europe while, it can be produced locally? Congo, here i come.
Thats the issue with Africa. There are varieties of fruits in Africa that can be used to make juices and sell. Yet the mindset is still that of the West is better. How can poor people afford to keep importing from the West and expect to have a good economy? Its really the mindset
With them joining EAC ....we will trap that opportunity there
Rich people alway fine way to multiply money on anything they do, why poor people alway eat what they have with them.
You're absolutely right, to be a successful in life required not only hard work but awareness and sometime opportunity at the moment, investment remains the best way to start.
I agree with you. Investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity. And not just any investment but an investment with guaranteed return.
yeah investment is the key to sustaining your financial longevity but venturing into any legit investment or business without a proper guidance of an expert can lead to great loss too.
Exactly and many of us don't know where to invest our money so we invest it on wrong place and to the wrong people

The startling contrasts are amazing...so is the constant energy of the people!
I really like the positivity and ambition all of the people have! I sincerely hope the DRC will thrive and its people will be happy. I just hate this pastor making money out of fooling people. In my country, Brazil, he would be arrested for illegally practicing medicine.
😂; but if he's fooling them why does he have so many followers? Is he voodoo 😢them or something you think? People can be so vulnerable. It doesn't take much to give them hope.
Most people who live extravagantly are involved in some type of “easy come easy go” endeavor. I know from experience. I once had a business partner who had a 25,000 sq ft home. Turned out his company had been screwing people over for over a decade. They screwed me over too and I walked away with an education and just barely enough to start over. It’s all part of life. I knew it could happen, and I was able to go on to make millions, but I’m sure it doesn’t go that way for most people. Just live your life the best you can, keep your head up and be aware that it’s not really a battle unless you feel it is.
Thank you Fally for demonstrating your humanity in giving your young fellow countrymen some $. ❤️
I know poverty in Africa is harsher without social security that the West is privileged to have. However, there is poverty and disparity of wealth everywhere on earth. We all have to voice out Anti-corruption. No countries are corruption proof, because we all get enticed by money on all levels of the society. "No" to corruption. The citizens have to advocate and practise. The wicked politicians and business people must be targeted to bring the society a little better place.
So if someone makes a business and becomes rich he is corrupt ? 😂
"The wicked politicians and business people must be targeted to bring the society a little better place."
The people must unite and solve their problems, this thing of waiting for someone else or God to solve your problems is the reason why they are in this mess. The money they used to travel to go to the pastor and buy his juice, they have should have combined it and built a school, roads, provide electricity for themselves, etc. But people are always looking for someone else to save them
@@Bambotb It's great to see people in Africa doing business and becoming rich but corruption comes to mind when you look at African governments selling natural resources abroad and keeping all the profits for themselves instead of investing in healthcare, education, infrastructure. There's enough money in Africa but politicians keep most of that money for themselves that's why there are so many regular people struggling.
Ah and btw, you can do business and still be corrupt as an individual. It's very common in many countries (USA, UK, Russia...)
There is corruption in the West, too, the main difference is that Western countries share a lot of that wealth with their citizens, most African countries don't
@@prinka2096 the problem is always politicians...jealous idiots like this commenter wants to tax rich people tk give it to thieves politicians that's it
@@Bambotb no but let's not pretend corruption doesn't exist everywhere.
In Africa natural resources is more of a curse than a blessing. And I don't understand why the people in power don't see that the trajectory we're on as a continent is not sustainable (that is spending decades plundering the wealth of nations at the expense of everyone else).
I pray to God that we eventually get it right.
How do you think the elite get to the top? They steal and cheat, and once they get to the top, they steal, kill and cheat to stay there.
If UAE is more developed than USA despite having an abundance of natural resources, then why can't African leaders do the same to their country?
bro just gave 5 people a week of pay imagine such a celeb in western world now giving randomly 5 people week loans . This is the reason i only wish him more wealth and prosperity .

Well narrated film!
Indeed fally Ipupa worked so hard to be where he is today❤❤❤.The DRC is a very beautiful country.
Love Africa.... Great documentary. I think it's just wonderful how some of these humans have made their way out of poverty. What I find even more commendable is that they've chosen to keep their wealth in their beautiful country. Such a sad state of affairs when impoverished countries lose their budding entrepreneurs to a wealthier country. No country will ever rise above poverty, etc... when the "Movers and Shakers" remove potential growth from their homeland by leaving. I don't like that self proclaimed, "Prophet" though. He's without a doubt, a sidewinder. But? He gives hope to many, irregardless if he's a fake, and sometimes that's all one needs to rise above and stay the course. Without hope? All is lost. So? Whatever... 'Juice Guy". Smh.

Funny how the company earning 2 million pounds a day does accounting on a book, also alarming that an international music artist has no electricity backup like solar in his mansion and is left stranded by a power cut. Goes to show no matter how much money we have, if we live in a country that is messed up by bad governance, we all live in a slum. It should be a wake up call to our leaders who think they can leave everyone struggling and still live in a good environment.
Calling people who earn €3000/month ultra-rich for any capital city in the world shows how DW is out of touch with anything outside Europe.
I think he's speaking relatively. Take the minimum salary in your country and multiply by 100. Minimum salary in Cyprus is around 900 euros. Therefore by their saying, the ultra rich here would earn about 90 000 euros per month. But as usual, the ultra rich person in the video is the singer. The true ultra rich will never let cameras stream their houses in Africa. They live in gated and well protected neighbor hoods.
Nah its just hyping up numbers, nothing to do with being out of touch, get over it.
in a country where most people are not even making 100 a month, they are ultra-wealthy.

I’ve been to South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Senegal, those countries did not prepare me for the DRC, completely different world there. What’s bizarre is the US government thinks we need an embassy in Kinshasa, why is that? I have a couple ideas as to why, but mostly irritates me that our tax dollars would go into these multimillion dollar structures while the people around the structure are starving and people in the states have no healthcare or retirement.

The narrator omits the horrible legacy of Leopold II of Belgium but is quick to talk about Mobutu's atrocities which are terrible but pale in comparison with those committed by the colonisers.
While Leopold did devastate the Congo, if the US had not interfered in Congo's affairs in the 50s-70s, Congo would have long overcome those historical atrocities. People want to always pretend as if America has not had the most devastating effect throughout Africa
